Avid cooks will love the fully-equipped kitchen, Weber BBQ, fresh herb garden, citrus trees, and indoor and outdoor dining tables. The kitchen is crafted for convenience. Cooks can prep food while catching up on their favorite TV shows. Appliances include an InstaPot, food processor, mixer, and high-speed blender. There are baking dishes, pots of all sizes, a wide array of cooking utensils, dried spices, and condiments.
The bedrooms are designed for restful, deep sleep. They feature high- quality mattresses, blackout curtains, soft bedding, and plentiful closet space. The Master Bedroom has an en-suite bath, a TV, a walk-in closet, and a sliding door that opens to the private back patio. The middle bedroom features a queen bed and ample closet space for clothing. The front bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted into a king bed with a plush mattress topper (provided.) There is also a comfortable twin mattress topper and bedding for the couch.
The living space was created for relaxation and social interaction with a velvet, West Elm, L-shaped sofa, a large Roku TV, and a dining table that seats six people comfortably. An open layout between the kitchen and living space enables hosts to interact with family and friends while prepping and cooking meals.
The private back patio boasts a dining table for six with a Sunbrella, a Weber Genesis BBQ, and two lounge chairs. Pet owners will appreciate the dog run and pee pad on the side/back of the duplex and the doggie flap in the sliding screen door that leads from the kitchen to the back patio.
A private laundry room with extra storage, a fenced, gated, and beautifully landscaped front yard (shared with the unit next door), an off-street parking spot + free 24/7 street parking, beach gear, board games, and office supplies are added details and amenities that make this place a perfect home away from home.
When it comes to convenience, this location is hard to beat! Located one exit south of La Jolla, next to Pacific Beach, a mile from Mission Bay and a trolley station. Walk to coffee shops, yoga studios, bars, restaurants, Sprouts, etc. The Clairemont Rec Center with a community pool, a large park, and the YMCA Skate Park is a block away. Hop on the trolley for a 10-minute ride to Seaport Village, Little Italy, Petco Park, or the Gaslight District. I am a semi-retired entertainment professional with an insatiable appetite for travel. When in San Diego, my home is an “open door” for friends, family, and their dogs. I also enjoy yoga, horseback riding, gardening, live music, partner dancing, cooking, romantic comedies, pickleball, and nature hikes with my golden retriever. I am new to VRBO but my property is a guest favorite on Airbnb and I am a Superhost. I strive to provide value for guests and to ensure that every guest feels valued.

The convenience! Almost anywhere I want to go or anything I need is a short walk or drive away from the duplex. I am STILL, after 4.5 years of living at the property, discovering new things. For example, I needed a tailor and it turns out that one of the best tailors in San Diego is 2 blocks from my duplex. When it comes to convenience, this location is tough to beat. I also appreciate the friendly neighbors. For example, there is a college student at the end of my block. She enjoys baking. Last week she brought me a plate of warm, freshly baked muffins. For no reason! It was just a kind, generous gesture. Brazilians live next door to me. At least once a week, they BBQ and relax around their fire pit laughing and singing. The family on the other side of me plays badminton together in their front yard. The environment around here can be summed up in one 2 words - joyful and endearing.
O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
I fenced it off and landscaped it with hedges and climbing geraniums that are abundantly in bloom year-round. I've created a charming enclave in a generic, middle-class, area. More than one stranger has knocked on my door to tell me that walking by my place makes them happy. When I'm out front, I get loads of compliments from passersby. The decor inside is boho-inspired with lots of colorful, uplifting, travel-themed artwork. The place feels happy and relaxed and it's super clean and comfy.
