The Sunset House is a privately owned beach house located 'directly' on the Gulf of Mexico in Redington Shores, FL. This property is the perfect location on the beach for your next family getaway. Relax in the Gulf front heated pool or hot tub while enjoying the spectacular views.

This tropically landscaped beach house can accommodate up to 12 guests and we are pet friendly. The main house has four bedrooms and two baths. The large family room has a 75" flat-screen smart TV and DVD. The kitchen is fully equipped with a five seat breakfast bar. The office has high-speed internet and a printer. The carriage house has one bedroom and one bath, fully equipped kitchen, living area with a 40' flat screen TV, DVD and balcony with Gulf view.

The garage and extra parking can accommodate up to six vehicles.

Sunset Beach House

Loved our stay at the Sunset Beach House. Bob and Stu were always available to answer our questions and made checm in smooth.House has lots of things on hand - dishes, utensils, cups, instapot, beach towels, beach chairs, toys, pack n play, etc. One of the best stocked houses ive stayed at.Kitchen and family room was open and large. Eating nook and breakfast bar offer lots of seating options while eating.Pool area and walk to beach is fantastic and super convenient. And you get pictureesque sunsets! House had ample parking and trash cans.2 callouts for others:1. Have to walk thru twin bed/office to get to King bed room with sofabed. 2. Was tough to give toddlers bath bc the main bathroom is deeper than normal so you are leaning over quite a bit. For babies may need to bring a mini tub for bathing.Neither of these bothered our group but wanted to make others aware as its hard to tell in pictures.Highly recommend this property for future family renters!

We really enjoyed the house, there was plenty of room for our family. Our Florida family came over for dinner and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was very well stocked so cooking was a breeze!

Amazing Location! Excellent Service!

The location of this house is amazing and perfect for families with kids. The house is STOCKED. Tons of pots/pans, spices and service dishes in the kitchen and a deck box full of beach and pool toys. The only downside was that was had to walk through one bedroom to get to another, but the first bedroom was perfect for kids. Looking forward to booking again!

Our rental was top notch. Plenty of dishes and kitchen appliances in the to make cooking easy. The property managers were very prompt with any issues that came up. Lots of pool items for the kids and plenty of beach chairs.

Family FL Trip

We had a lovely stay at this property and, given all of the amenities, like the pool and hot tub, the attention to detail in fully stocked home items, and the gorgeous beach, we rarely left the home. Family Vacation

Christmas in July

My family came from all over the US to meet for a family reunion or to celebrate our family. We did not get to meet up for Christmas due to schedules etc. We are extremely pleased with this home. They have absolutely everything any small issues that we could’ve had were taken care of immediately, and the Property Management people were amazing. Wonderful views and a great home

We stayed at this property for a family vacation. The house views are amazing! Love the fact that you are steps from the beach. The house layout was great for my parents. Beach chairs etc were provided and the kitchen is fully stocked. The owner and house manager were quick to respond and great to work with.

Right on the Beach!

Overall we had a wonderful vacation and the location was so convenient to the beach which is where we spent most of our time on the water and in the pool. The house was fully stocked and had nice amenities including WiFi . The property is beautiful but the house and its railings need major work, the rust on the railings poses a problem for small children. The separate apartment was convenient and comfortable as well. Stu and Bob were very accommodating and I hope the owner makes the necessary updates to the property.

Wonderful Location and great view

We loved the location and property. The view is beautiful from the pool area. The house overall is as presented and one of the best-stocked houses we have ever rented when it comes to kitchen supplies. The only negative is the MBR does not have a bath and the bathrooms are small and need to be upgraded.

This home is so welcoming and well stocked. The location makes is so easy to go between the pool, beach and hot tub, especially if you have children. Highly recommend for all ages.

Spring Break 2024

Our family of 3 stayed with two other families for spring break. We cannot say enough about the sunset house. And not just speaking for my family, but the others as well. We were all very bummed to leave! This house checked all the boxes - location, amenities, view. Home is directly on the beach. You walk out to the sand! My requirements when looking for a vacation home were heated pool, hot tub, and beach view. We got all 3! The home is not new and fancy, but well kept and very clean. We drove from Wisconsin and were able to bring a lot of stuff. But even if you fly you wouldn't need to worry about buying toiletries or kitchen essentials, or bringing towels etc. All of that is provided. Us mom's did one large Walmart grocery run when we arrived and only had to go again during the week for more milk and such. And thank you to Stu for being available when we had questions, and making our check in and check out process easy. If you are thinking of a beach vacation this is a perfect place to be!

Wonderful Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 4 children. Six adults in the house and two adults, who doesn't have children', in the apartment above garage. 4 children in house. We had an amazing time. The property manager Stewart was great. He made sure everything was perfect for us, and he kept in touch. We will rent this home again in the future. The kitchen has all appliances, cookware, etc. Perfect. You really don't need to bring anything except your bathing suit. Everything is already there at the house. We now know to pack less next time. You won't be disappointed. But I will say, the owner of the property does need to invest some money in updating the kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets. They're not falling apart, just wear and tear. That's really the only negative thing I can say about the house. Not a big deal. Otherwise, you will love this home for your family vacation. Weiss Family

Beach Haven

This was such s great vacation spot! We could not be more pleased. Stu was great to work with and very easy to get ahold of if needed. We brought quite a bit of necessities with us, but we didn't need any of it, as the house was loaded with everything. They had whatever you needed for the pool and beach, also. It was well equipped with floaties, beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, and we brought a beach umbrella to leave there, so now it has that. There is nothing like stepping right outside the house and putting your toes in the sand. And the table outside on the patio overlooking the water.....I spent a great deal of time there. It's very private, even when the beach is busy. We would highly recommend this place, and we would definitely bring our family back again.

Wonderful week!

Sunset House was delightful and very spacious! The beach access and private pool were perfect for our family! Stu provided a great orientation as well as checking in during the week to see if we needed anything. The house was equipped with EVERYTHING we could imagine using— from the kitchen to beach chairs and so many other things! The “welcome” snacks and beverages were yet another thoughtful touch! We felt like we were visiting a friend’s home! Can’t wait to plan a return trip!!

Spacious house on the beach with pool, hotub

Roomy house directly on Gulf of Mexico with pool, hot tub and 5 bedrooms. Best equipped house I’ve stayed at and I’ve vacationed in the area many times over the years. Large living room and kitchen. Communication with rental agents was good. The 3D tour on the vrbo site is very helpful, be sure to check it out. One of the bedrooms is in garage apartment detached from the house, worked out well for us as my husband and I stayed there while our four 30-something year old kids and their young children occupied the 4 bedrooms in the main house. I highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful family vacation with our family of 10 in this beautiful oceanfront location. The pool and hot tub were great too! The ample parking, the park across the street and the garage apt we’re great as well. It was very well stocked with essentials as well as beach towels, beach chairs, games and pool toys for all ages.

Redington Shores is quaint beach community located just 10 miles from Clearwater and St Pete beaches. The area offers an endless array of activities for all ages that are close at hand. From sand and surf, to professional sports team venues, your friends and family will have many opportunities for entertainment during your stay. For the sports enthusiasts, you'll find pro football, baseball and hockey teams including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Rays and Lightning. If it’s theme parks that you’re looking for there’s Walt Disney World, Bush Gardens, Universal Studios and Sea World all within a 90 minute drive that make great day trips. Also, there’s the the Clearwater Marine Aquarium featuring the movie star Winter the Dolphin. In Tampa you'll find Ebor City and the International Mall for great shopping.
For your travel needs you’ll find Tampa International Airport (TPA) located just 24 miles away and the St Petersburg / Clearwater regional airport (PIE) just 14.35 miles away.

Just across the Street is Constitution Park featuring a huge jungle gym, volleyball and basketball courts and a large picnic pavilion. And just down the beach (0.83 mi South) is the Redington Long Pier that offers great fishing and awesome Gulf views.

Also, be sure and check out all of the great dining locations close to The Sunset House. For breakfast, try Sweet Sage (1.52 mi South) or The Frog Pond (1.40 mi South). For lunch and dinner, The Conch Republic (1.69 mi. South), The Salt Rock Grill (1.15 mi North) reservations recommended, Guppy's on the Beach (4.79 mi North) or Keegan's Seafood Grill (4.70 mi North). Also, at the end of the block is Beachside Grill serving lunch and dinner and across the street you'll find Beach Pizza and Wings (they deliver!) and The Friendly Tavern. And for dessert there's the Candy Kitchen across the street with ice-cream and yogurt. There's also a great seafood market & wine shop just minutes away called The Reef (0.57 mi South) featuring fresh fish, shrimp, scallops, lobster & their fantastic fish spread!

And, don't miss John's Pass Village shopping area on Madeira Beach, (4.71 mi South) a great tourist destination with several souvenir shops, small boutique shops, fishing charter boats, wave-runner rentals and great seafood restaurants such as The Friendly Fisherman.
