Looking out on our peaceful meadow and abutting 125 acres of corn fields, this is a perfect spot to enjoy a book on the shaded back patio, a yoga or meditation session, or a quiet walk through the fields & woods. Take in the view from inside the southern facing windows, where it is not uncommon to see wildlife at dawn or dusk. This is the tranquil getaway that you have been waiting for!

The guesthouse is located behind our detached garage, and offers complete privacy from both the street and our home. Well appointed with luxurious/plush furniture and amenities such as washer/dryer, french press, microwave, refrigerator, air conditioning and high speed WIFI, this apartment features a large upstairs bedroom with a king bed, along with an option for a floor mattress twin bed for additional guests or children if needed.

North Granby is home to multiple beautiful natural spaces and trails such as Ender’s falls, Dismal brook Wildlife Preserve, and is within 10 minutes of Salmon Brook Park, McClean Game Refuge, and Holcomb Farm/CSA. Granby is known for its picturesque rural setting, with numerous working farms, equestrian centers, vineyards and orchards. We have delicious restaurants, farm stands, and many unique and delightful locally owned businesses.

We are situated close to Granby Center and Downtown Simsbury, and are a 20 minute drive from Bradley International Airport, as well as 30 minutes from both Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA.

Notes: Both of the two levels of this apartment have low ceilings at 6’6”, and are not suitable for taller folks. Those with mobility issues should also note that the single bathroom is off the kitchen downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs.
