B Our first issue came up when we inquired about the length of the dock regarding the pontoon, we were renting plus the fishing boat we would be bringing up. We were first told there were 2 docks. Only 1 appeared in the photos. After questioning Hiller on this, they did some checking and said that they considered 2 sides of 1 dock as 2. When we arrived, there was a boat hoist with a pontoon on one side of the dock. It was the owners. Hiller never notified us of this and the owner refused to remove their pontoon, so said Dick the Hiller representative. The very accommodating employee at the Stone Harbor Marina, where we rented the pontoon from, helped us with this dock situation. Thanks again Shawn for your professional and courteous help. It became quite obvious that Hiller does not regularly inspect the properties they rent. Heating and air conditioning – The thermostat was set mostly for heat as it was fairly cold while we were there. We would set it to a comfortable temperature and a little while later the thermostat was automatically set at a lower temp. Hiller did send out a repair service man to look at the thermostat the first evening we were there. The steps down to the dock were not in good condition, some boards rotting, some steps covered with gravel that had washed down. And the railing was very wobbly in places.
