Lovely sandy beach and gorgeous sunset views

We had a lovely stay in this newly redone home on Thompson Lake. Tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture and beds and well kitted out. The sandy beach and shallow entry were perfect for our young children who spent hours playing there happily. Gorgeous sunset viewing from the end of the dock. Water is lovely and clear (though the sand leading to and at the end of the dock could have used some raking at the start of the season as it was evident by the murky bottom and weeds that it hadn't been used frequently - once we'd spent some time jumping off the dock and stirring things up it started to clear a bit). There's a right of way on one side of the property and that area got a bit busy on hot days so the location is not quite as private as some, but it didn't prevent us enjoying ourselves and having a wonderful week! Would definitely recommend this property and hope to be back in future years.
