Kamaole Sands is a beautiful resort, nestled between Mount Haleakala, Maui’s dormant volcano and the white sandy beaches we all love to play on. 15 acres of tropical gardens, waterfalls, pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and all the conveniences we have come to expect of condominium living. Just across the street is Kamaole III Beach/Park, one of Maui's most famous beaches. It's gentle surf makes it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, diving, paddle boarding, strolling the miles of beach or just soaking up the sun. The park is a great place for a picnic or gathering. Whale watching is popular in the winter and the nightly sunsets are spectacular all year.

Garden/Ocean View, location and convenience makes this the perfect Hawaiian experience. Decorated in tropical Hawaiian design, 1 Bedroom + queen sofa bed (sleeps 4), 2 bath, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer in unit. Located on the third floor facing the ocean you overlook the swimming pool, hot tubs, and the beautiful tropical gardens. In the distance you can see the ocean and feel the gentle sea breeze that brings the scent of tropical flowers. Have your morning coffee or tea out on the Lanai and watch the Sunrise or enjoy a drink at dusk and watch the spectacular sunsets of Maui.

Relax, Refresh and Rejuvenate

Something for everyone, Kamaole Sands is only minutes away from five world-class golf courses and the Shops at Wailea with dining and shopping. Visit the Wine Country and do a little wine tasting. Drive to Haleakala (Maui's dormant volcano), be sure and stop in the small quaint towns along the way for a true flavor of Hawaii. Want a little more excitement, try the Zip Line, 4-wheeling on the mountain trails or Blue Water Rafting (you just might get to swim with the dolphins). Entertainment, try the Magic Show or Musical Theatre in Lahaina, don't forget to see the Banyon trees and art shops. Take a day trip to Hana, visit the Seven Sacred pools, be sure and stop at the falls and gardens along the way. Enjoy a Luau.

Beautiful but bugs

There are small ants throughout the home, management tried to get rid of them but no success through the week we were there. Otherwise beautiful home and view.

Great Property

The property had a lovely view of the gardens and pool area. The condo was extremely clean. The only concern we had was the condo did not stay cool enough. The wall air conditioning unit was on a timer which necessitated it being turned in the middle of the night. The complex also had an elevator which made it convenient to take luggage or groceries to the unit.

Nice spot

The location of this condo (we’ve stayed at Kamaole Sands several times/condos) was great! Super convenient just above the pool area, fun people watching and easy to scope out when we wanted to go. Nice view of the ocean as well. This condo was nice, had most things we needed. I would say it would have been convenient to have boogie boards and a cooler for the beach. We just had the back of the chairs they provided for a cooler spot and one of the 2 chairs zipper’s doesn’t open, so really only have a very small back of one chair for ‘cooler’ use. Typically I’ve seen in other condos a small cooler and ice packs included. The pullout bed in the sofa was very comfortable. The king bed in the bedroom could use an upgrade, it creaks loudly when you get in and out (hard with our infant child napping in there) and slopes downward towards the headboard. The shower in the hallway bathroom leaked water onto the floor, quite a bit, so that should be looked at. The kitchen has bare minimum for the most part, no bags for bringing snacks to the beach, the Tupperware there has mis matched lids, the cold water kind of slow drips out of the faucet but the hot works well. No sponge for doing your own dishes but plenty of dish soap. Just kind of a half stocked half forgotten to stock feeling to the place. The beach towels were awesome and large, the location was great, air moves nicely through the space so we infrequently used bedroom AC. I’d suggest a new mattress for the bedroom soon.

Beautiful Stay in Oasis

We loved our time in Kihei and had the best experience in this condo. It was myself, my husband and our 5 month old, and it was perfect all around. My favorite pieces were how centrally located the condo was, how great the beach across the street was, and how stocked the condo was for all our needs. Definitely would recommend, and would hope to stay again in the future.

Close to Kamaole Beach 3

Property was as advertised. The host had all the beach basics such as beach chairs, beach umbrellas and other things we did not use. She had the nice umbrella that you can angle. Kitchen was well equipped, the lanai was great for watching the pool, beautiful grounds, ocean view, and great sunsets. Restaurants are within walking distance and if you like to grill, there are 3 large grilling areas.

Nice property, Nice room

The property was very nice, immaculate grounds, nice pool (a bit busy). The room was nice, well appointed, but there were some minor technical issues that were handled by the onsite staff (mostly). The location is across from Kam 3, a bit of a walk to anywhere which is okay on vacation. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Christmas Break in Maui

Loved the condo! Great location. AC didn't cool quite as much as we would've liked. Appreciated the beach chairs. Great stay-would definitely come back.

nice condo in Kihei

The condo was across the street from 1 beach with another 0.5-0.75 miles south on Kihei Road. The view of the ocean from the balcony was better than shown in the pictures. Kitchen well stocked and there was enough beach chairs for a family of 4.

Beautiful condo in perfect location

This condo is located in the perfect spot for beautiful walks, beaches & restaurants/shops. Kamaole Sands resort is beautifully landscaped and the pool area is fantastic. The condo had everything that we needed, from pots/pans to beach chairs. When some maintenance was needed when we first arrived & when we requested an airbed (for our visiting children), Kamaole Sands were extremely accommodating and very quick to respond. When we needed to contact the condo owner, they were also quick to respond and incredibly accommodating. The only downside to the location of this condo is that it overlooks the pool area and it can be quite noisy. Despite that, though, I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this condo again.

Perfect Spot

Beautiful suite and grounds. The pictures don’t really show how much ocean you can see from the suite - amazing view. Easy walk to beach, stores and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Love Kamaole Sands

First time staying in building 5. It is a little louder than some of the other buildings, as it is right next to the pool. But great views. And the resort is just perfect! Highly recommend! The condo itself was great. My only comment is that half the dishes and utensils in the cupboards failed to get fully cleaned in the last dishwasher run. But not the end of the world obviously.

Amazing condo!

Great condo, great host! Nice and clean, beautifully renovated. Had everything you need for a vacay, and great location. The sunset view each night was amazing! We enjoyed the pool and grounds as well. Quiet neighbourhood, but still walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend

Very nice resort area

Conveniently located across the street from several beaches. It is within walking distance of several eateries. This location has a very nice pool with an adequate fitness center.

Very nice stay

Clean, comfortable, beautiful view from lanai, air conditioning worked well, kitchen fully stocked, two bathrooms w/ showers, nice pool area, beautiful grounds, across from one of the area beaches with a park, relatively short walk to shops/restaurants, pool a bit crowded and hot tub should be hotter (but neither in control of the owner), owner easy to work with, unit in good location near elevators and close to trash chute (but not too close to trash shoot which is anyway behind a closed door), parking was very close and convenient, beach path behind resorts to the south is about a 30 minute walk away.

Best place to stay!

If you need a place to stay on Maui, don’t hesitate to choose this one. Wonderful location with an amazing view. Clean and comfortable. The AC is amazing in the hot weather. Well stocked kitchen, nice bathroom essentials are supplied. Plus, a collection of awesome things to make your day at the beach even better that the host kindly allows you to use. The host was super helpful and answered all of my questions. Very nice and accommodating thank you, Glenna!

Awesome unit in Kihei

Totally enjoyable our time here. The unit was pristine and we had everything we needed! The pictures shown are exactly as the unit looks. A/C and ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. We loved every moment and we sad to leave.

First Time in Mauii

This was our first time in Mauii. Kamaole Sands is a well located property in kihei. The room was as advertised. The Bad: Bed needs an update bed is a little too soft and bed creaks quite a bit. Makes for a restless sleep. Second washroom shower has drainage issues and needs to get looked at. The Good: Location is ideal, beach is 5 min away. Pool and Grounds are well maintained Safeway is open 24hrs, it's a life saver Kitchen has fully functional appliances and plenty of space to cook.

Great location

It's my first time booking thru Vrbo and we had a great experience. The view from the balcony was wonderful and the beach is just a few minutes walk. Glenna was an amazing host. Overall, it's comfortable and we enjoyed our stay!

We just fell in love with Kamaole Sands, the gardens, the location, the birds singing and the sea breeze. The location is perfect and the people are just great.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Some of our favorite things to do would be daily walks on the beach, sitting on the lanai or taking cheese and wine to the park to watch the sunset. In the evening we love to walk down to the ice cream shop for a cone. We also like hiking and exploring. At night we love to sit in the hot tub and look at the stars.
