Kamaole Sands Resort:

We purchased our condo in 2017. We choose Kamaole Sands because it is a awesome resort and we invite you to enjoy our home away from home. For information about the Kamaole Sands Resort please visit the website. There you will find a map of the complex, resort amenities, rules, directions and tips.

Location:

Our condo is on the ground floor of building 9. It's a the private location. Off the lanai is a grassy lane bordered by tropical trees and plants. It is a very low traffic area secluded from view of other condos. The barbeque area is around the corner between building 8 and 9, and it is very convenient. There are three gas grills and they are cleaned each morning. Being on the ground floor makes transferring groceries and beach gear easy.

Most of the condo is upgraded. All of the living area furniture has been updated to modern, comfortable furniture. New items include: queen sofa sleeper, laptop desk, monitor, dining set, patio set, 55ā€ flat screen smart TV, entertainment center, and recliner. In the kitchen the the stove, microwave, blender, and coffee maker have been replaced. The bedroom has a new 32ā€ flat screen, headboard, dresser, mirror, and new A/C unit. There is tile in both bathrooms, the hallway, and the kitchen. The living room and bedroom have laminate wood floors. (NO CARPET). There is new paint throughout and a new washer/dryer combo. We keep a full compliment of beach gear for our guests. Check out the photo of all the beach toys.

A whole new kitchen for you to enjoy. New cabinets, granite counter-tops, and fixtures make this a five star kitchen. New appliances include a very quiet LG dishwasher and LG microwave. The new Samsung refrigerator is large and convenient. It has a bottom freezer drawer, French doors, and a drink drawer.

Very helpful host with questions about TV and other amenities. Beautiful place across from the ocean park. Nice, safe, area, not too crowded, away from the more touristy Kaanapali Coast.

Superb, home away from home.

Martha's condo is wonderful, well equipped with more than we would need, beach gear, kitchen for cooking meals and more. The location is perfect, Kam 3 beach a few steps away, which is the best beach in Kihei. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Pool was a lovely escape from the beach when the kids needed a break. Could not reccomend enough. We hope to be back again.

Cozy spot to spend a week

We enjoyed our stay. There was enough room for a family of four to spread out. There were lots of items for the beach which definitely helped out. The location is also great and we enjoyed the beach across the street.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful unit for six weeks! It was the best equipped VRBO unit we have ever rented and we have rented many in our eighty plus years! All our communication with and response from the owners was friendly, efficient and immediate! We will certainly recommend it to our friends and family!

This condo is nicely furnished and supplies just about everything you need.

We had a wonderful vacation and staying in this condo put it over the top. Booking to check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The condos are close to great restaurants, beautiful beaches, shopping etc... The owners Martha and John are very responsive and helpful. From blow dryers to boogie boards most everything is supplied. We will definitely be returning to this condo!!

Very nice place

This unit was very nice. Very quiet and comfortable. It was very clean and really well stocked with supplies. There was nothing we wanted for. From snorkel gear to kitchen supplies. It had everything. I would gladly stay here again.

Nice condo

ItƤs always nice to get a VRBO where they have spices, oil, beach gear, and extras. Much appreciated. We moved to another property in Wailea after this one and they only provided salt! lol! We liked our stay here in Kamaole.

Wonderful stay in a lovely condo

We had a wonderful stay in this condo at Kamaole Sands. Condo was very comfortable and the pictures are true to the condo. Most everything was supplied and the open and renovated kitchen was great to cook in. The condo was very clean; bed in master bedroom super comfy. Living room furniture is newer and it was so nice to not have the dated rattan furniture many of the condos still seem to have in the living area.The condo is located across from Kamaole III beach and it was an easy walk to nearby restaurants. The complex is beautiful with lovely grounds, pool area and several BBQ areas; the condo itself was just steps from the BBQ. Martha is quick to respond to emails and enquires.

Ruined holiday

We arrived late at night and immedietly noticed the condo had a bad odour and was dirty! The washer drum was open with dirty laundry inside, there was bugs all over, kitchen counter, bathroom, pull out couch, floors were so dirty that my slippers were black within a half hour. The king size bed sheets were not clean. The beds were very uncomfortable, had to sleep on pillows on the pullout couch. Complained and the situation was made out like it was not met with my EXPECTATIONS ! What? I expect to pay and receive a clean and comfortable condo! This is not about anything else. A cleaning lady came into the condo when we were not there and said to the owner that she did a re clean and there were no bugs? We video taped the bugs, we are still awaiting a refund as we were told by vrbo. We frequent Maui quite often and never have had any issues, this was the worst experience and ruined our holiday. Phoned vrbo everyday and we were supposed to be moved to a different condo, never happened. Do not list a condo and rent it in this condition it is not fair for the people staying there. And the owner wanted me to remove the bed topper on the king bed to make it more comfortable,? No, perhaps a bed with a better mattress? Ruined our holiday.

Excellent stay

We enjoyed our stay. Martha was an awesome host. We were unable to stay the first night due to a late departure & missed our connecting flight. Martha offered to extend our stay to make it up. The kitchen was well stocked & the unit was very clean. Everything we needed for a day at the pool or beach was provided.

Wonderful condo

Great condo. Loved that it had two full bathrooms and an air bed. We especially enjoyed the snorkels, boogie boards, beach chairs and wagon that we used during our stay. Location was excellent: across the street from a sandy beach. Check in people were confused about the dates of our stay but check out was expedient.

The Condo was awesomeā€¦ lots of extras that made out stay great (full kitchen, beach items, wagon, coolers, etcā€¦. Condo was superclean, great decor, and just great overall feel of an upgraded home. Communication was great and will definitely stay there again!

Great stay!

Good location close to the beach. Grounds are beautiful with BBQ grills and picnic tables, pool and 4 tennis courts. My 3 daughters and I enjoyed free advanced tennis lessons on Thursdays with excellent professionals, Emerson and George! We also learned how to play Spec tennis. Loved the amenities including the ice-maker in the fridge and the use of beach chairs, cooler and good snorkeling equipment. Only complaint was that the sofa bed was uncomfortable but a double thick self inflating mattress was provided which provided a good sleeping surface. Martha was very responsive. Thanks for a great stay!
