Please note that the property description clearly indicates that it's a 1st floor unit with an obstructed view. Below is a excerpt from the published description. " First floor ground level unit-ocean view is blocked by sand dune" The unit photos also show the view from the balcony of unit 102, it shows the obstructed view.

Great location but the place needs some work

We had a great time on vacation at this property. It was pretty clean when we got there Two main complaints were how much necessary upkeep there was from kitchen shelves and cabinets (hard to open) and the presence of flies. We had previously stayed at another house within the same building and it also had flies so it might just be a thing there. Overall those weren’t too big to ruin the trip but it was noticeable.

Many updates from last time we stayed here. Great location. One huge downfall and I brought my own because I’ve been in a fire is it didn’t have a fire detector and it was removed on the wall. I’m pretty sure it’s a violation of some sort to not have a fire detector in a rental unit. $10 to save lives and a building I think is pretty petty

Pleasant but sparse

The condo wasn't a bad space, but many staples weren't included (toilet paper, dish rags/sponges, dishwasher detergent, sheets, towels, hand soap) and those that were included were sparse (one pillow only for the king bed and one for the queen sofa bed, minimal blankets, minimal cookware). I've stayed at places with similar capacity and proximity and was more pleased with value for price paid when all was said and done. Still, this was a comfortable enough space that suited our needs.

Thank you for your review. We follow up with a phone call after the booking to ensure the guests know linens, paper products and disposable items are not provided. We work with a linen rental company, if you did not want to bring the sheets and towels with you. We will have an agent inspect the unit for missing items, such as pillows and cookware. If you should ever experience issues in the future, please let us know so we can address these issues are they arise.

Very dirty and smelly no wifi

Apartment was very dirty carpets are stained and disgusting. Apartment smelled musty and moldy. Will not be renting this place ever again.

Condo needs updated.

The first thing we noticed was the carpet needs shampooing, there is mold and mildew around the AC registers, the dryer took a very long time to dry clothes. Curtains were very dirty as well.

Unfortunately mediocre

From the minute we walked into this property it smelled of mildew. The condo was cleaned but not at all thoroughly and I had to call to have it cleaned again as there was dust everywhere and food still in the stove burners. Holiday Real Estate was extremely nice though and sent over cleaners right away. We had to keep the doors open and candles burning to help the smell of the place. The drywall was falling off of the walls. Literally massive corners of the walls were missing. With two children under 4, I was very uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the property, unfortunately, and will not be staying again.

Reasonably priced

Love the location and price. Bathrooms, furniture, and full kitchen were nice and clean. Easy access to beach and Main Street. Carpet has stains and feels old, could be updated with new or laminate. Mattresses could be updated as well as a queen quilt on a king bed. No internet……..but was nice to see my kids have to unplug. Bathroom fans very noisy. Outlet plugs very loose.

The carpet was absolutely filthy! I have never in all my life seen a carpet so filthy. We called and they came out to clean it. It helped a little but it was disgusting. I would never recommend this place or stay here again.

Two Day Getaway

The Ocean Trail was great! We were right on the beach (which made it easy to go back and forth with a four year old). We were in walking distance of several fantastic restaurants. The building, parking lot, and surrounding neighborhood was well kept and felt very safe.

Need a major overhaul

The location is great. The condo needs updated big time. The paint is dirty and chipping off the walls and the carpet is stained everywhere. The lampshades are so filthy and no lights in the second bedroom worked. The blinds and curtains were broke and filthy.

Great location

The unit itself was not in bad shape, however the couch was broken and unable to be used, and the screens had holes in them which made it hard to have the windows open at night... I have contacted the company about it directly, otherwise the unit itself was absolutely beautiful the beds were comfortable and it was amazing location

The place was comfortable, all appliances worked well, the beds were a bit hard, the kitchen supplies were limited- a skillet would be great. One TV did not work. Beautiful weather- great access to all things OC.

A nice unit.

The unit was larger than I expected, which was a plus. It was also very conveniently located near a bus stop and also the garden hose used for rinsing off sand. The carpets were plushy and comfortable, and the unit was very well furnished. There was a lot of closet space. There were some sand toys that had been left behind, which we all used. We also had been told there was no Wifi in the unit, but we were able to use the Public Xfinity Wifi coming from the cable box with our Xfinity account. The A/C worked very well, and so did the appliances. Reasons for a 4 star and not a 5: The showers had pretty low pressure, and it was difficult to get a consistent temperature with them. There was a slight issue with bugs in the unit. There were some ants, spiders, and at one point I killed what looked like a roach. Some of the electronic equipment did not work. The Xfinity remote for the living room didn't work, and there was no power cord for the DVD player in that same room. I was under the impression that the area in front of the unit but behind the dunes was accessible and could be used for Spikeball or just playing around in, but the area is actually fenced off.

The location is perfect, on the beach and walking distance to Macky's, Seacrets, Fager's and other great restaurants/nightlife. Unfortunately the living space wasn't. There were multiple dead and living bugs found all over, many outlets didn't work and the screen doors were off the tracks so we couldn't enjoy the nice breeze. The property management company was informed in which they offered to send management that day. I wouldn't stay here again.
