The town is also within easy reach of Apulia's other main attractions, such as Ostuni, also known as the 'Citta Bianca' white city is near the famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites , the medieval Castel del Monte (Bari) and Alberobello the land of the 'trulli', which are curious, rounded white structures, with grey stone cone-shaped roofs. The city Lecce, and the towns Locorotondo, Martina Franca and Gallipoli are also all a short drive away. The Grotte di Castellana (Italy’s largest underground cave network) and the fantastic Fasano Safari Zoo and amusement park, are only a short drive away too.
