Compact and ideally located apartment with 2 bedrooms. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, the harbour and the city center. Hop-on Hop-off bus station by the street.
Private entrance with 2 steps down into the apartment.
The bigger room has queen size bed (140 cm). The smaller bedroom has a super single bed (120 cm).
There is open plan kitchen and living room. The living room has a TV with english and nordic stations and a DVD with some classic films. The WiFi is high-speed. Small bathroom w/shower.

Good value for the price, and located in a great location to explore Reykjavik. Not a lot of options for 3 beds/person in town, so this worked out very well!

Fantastic home base for an Iceland vacation. Great Reykjavík location for walking to everything. Never had a problem parking at the rental. Very easy to leave the city and come back, any time of day. Would go back anytime.

Excellent location and host responsiveness!

Across the street from marina and near most museums. Very near many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and pastry shops. Very walkable to downtown historic area.

Perfect location!

My son and I stayed here while taking diving lessons. The location was perfect - near many restaurants and great coffee. After a day of diving, there was plenty of room to wash and hang our equipment and clothing - everything was dry very quickly. Plenty of room for us to each have our own space also.

Great Location

Loved the location down by the harbor. We were able to walk to a lot of different restaurants and stroll around the harbor at night after our day time excursions. Hosts were quick to respond to any quesitons we had and even called me when we had an issue with getting the stove to work, which was then quickly resolved.

Excellent location in Harbour

Had a great stay in Reykjavik. Very convenient, easy to find, we walked almost everywhere and was easily walkable to the main attractions in downtown. Owners were great and quick to reply! The bathroom was small but not a problem as it had everything needed. The laundry was a big help for us!

the apartement is in a great spot to explore the city and go whale watching from the harbor. Everything you need is there or close by. Audur & Olafur are very friendly, thoughtful and caring.

Great stay in Reykjivak

We really enjoyed our stay in the Harbor area. The apartment was perfect for the 2 of us such that we each had our own bedroom. The common area and kitchen is great. I enjoyed the harbor area with the convenience of the grocery stores and restaurants virtually across the street. Downtown was an easy, pleasant 10-15 minute walk through the neighborhood. Brikk next door is a wonderful bakery, we had pastries and coffee there all 3 mornings and took a loaf of sourdough for the road!

This property's location couldn't be better. One issue for us was that the manager didn't send us the entry code so we had to wait till 4pm to call and request it.

Great location

This apartment is in a great location. The hosts are very responsive. The beds are comfortable and the apartment is clean and well stocked. The bathroom is tiny. Another drawback is that you can hear the people who live upstairs. Also if anyone sleeps on the pullout sofa an eye mask is essential because there aren’t adequate shades on the windows that block out the light.

Very Nice Apartment

The apartment was quite nice. I suffered a bit from allergies while there, which is unusual for me. Not sure what caused it and it may be totally unrelated to the apartment, but the bathroom was a bit musty and the pillow on my bed could have been made from feathers. As a friendly suggestion, a couple of new pillows and a small coffee pot would have allowed me to give your place a top-notch rating! The location is terrific. Regards, David Danehower

Dear David. We sincerely hope your allergies were not caused by our apartment. We have not had that comment ever before. The pillows do not contain feathers or down of any kind, especially to avoid allergies. Both the beds were professionally cleaned less than a week ago, so that should not be the cause either. We will certainly look into this. There is a French Press coffee maker in the apartment (there was one last week). Would you prefer something different? We do want to know what our guests require for their stay to be pleasant. Is there anything else we can improve on? We are not sure what you mean regarding the bathroom being musty but we will look into that. Best regards, Anna

Excellent stay

This was a perfect place for us. Cozy, but everything we could possibly have wanted and more than we expected. Anna couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Can't possibly recommend this property highly enough!

Far exceeded expectarions

The location was super convenient. Literally 5 or 10 minutes to a multitude of attractions downtown, including grocery stores and the government run liquor store. We walked to the harbor for our puffin tour, the Harlan for shows, the world famous hot dog stand Baejarins Bestu, and our favorite watering hole, Frederiksen. The apartment has fast wi-fi, laundry facility, and a kitchen. Typical of apartments in Iceland, everything is small, but perfectly adequate. We loved our stay there.

Great location

The appartment was close enough to the city centre and supermarkets for convenience - but relatively quiet being near the old harbour area. The appartment was fine for two people and had all the features that we wanted. Being able to dry off wet jackets and towels in its little laundry room was a bonus.

Great location, nicely appointed, great host

We have two small children and found the apartment to be the perfect size for us during our stay. There's a nice little playground a short walk away on Nýlendugata. As others have said, the location is great and we were able to walk everywhere even with the little ones. We went for ice cream at Valdís every night of our stay! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and drinks. The beds were comfy with plenty of cosy bedding. The sink and toilet area of the bathroom is snug but the shower is fantastic for taller people like me as it has a nice high sunflower shower head. Our host was extremely helpful and accommodating particularly when our return flight was cancelled and we needed to stay an additional night on short notice.

Excellent comfortable and cosy house!!!

It was a really good place to stay for family. perfect location to pick-up bus(only 1min.from Icelandair hotel marina) and warm house with hot spring water for shower and very convenient kitchen with useful basic sauces, enough dishes just like being at my home and enough space for 5 peoples. I am sure that the owner of this property might be very considerable for travellers. we really enjoyed this cosy harbor house and Iceland. Iceland is the best place to visit we love it. we appreciate everything in Iceland. we will visit again definitely!!!! Thank you!!!
