Nothing but rave reviews from our guests after a stay at our ocean view condo. Come enjoy the amazing picturesque sunsets at Kona Makai. Your dream vacation begins the moment you arrive. You can start and end your day on the large lanai overlooking the beautiful view. Fully furnished with air conditioning in the living area as well as both bedrooms. 2 full bathrooms and you can do laundry right in the unit. We enjoy cooking as a family and enjoy all of the fresh local produce so we pride ourselves in having a well equipped kitchen for you to enjoy cooking meals as well. Updated tile floors throughout the entire unit except the bedrooms. We hope you can settle into our home away from home to enjoy a memory making vacation on the amazing Big Island.

The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the unit which provide great privacy for two couples or for families as well. Master Bedroom has a King Size super comfy bed with attached bath and large door out to the lanai so you can enjoy the sound of the ocean. The Guest Bedroom has a new Queen size bed and it's own large detached bathroom. With a wall of windows in the 2nd Bedroom the waves can soothe you to sleep. Both bedrooms have wall air conditioning units.

The Condo has been freshly updated with everything you need to make it feel like your home away from home on the Big Island! The fully-equipped kitchen is the perfect spot to enjoy the plentiful produce from the local Farmers Market, or your latest fresh “Catch of the Day” from your deep sea fishing adventures. Washer and Dryer right in the unit is a real plus.. From a blender to a pineapple cutter, meat thermometer, wine opener and more you should have all you need to prepare and enjoy a lovely meal.

Our renters love the little extras we provide like beach towels, large and small coolers, beach umbrella, kids beach tent, beach toys, beach chairs, snorkel gear, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, games for both kids and adults and family style games along with a nice collection of cool puzzles for all ages. There are dice and cards as well for relaxing evenings. You will be able to jump right into enjoying your vacation. Fresh linens on the beds and fresh towels in the bath make it easy to relax and settle in from the minute you arrive.

We start you off with all the basics from some laundry pods and dishwasher pods, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper and bathroom soap. There are plenty of trash bags and a basket in the pantry with supplies in case a remote battery or light bulb need replacing. There are fire extinguishers and a first aid kit in the pantry as well.

When you arrive our guest binder will be on the counter. The binder has all the info you need about the property and to enjoy your trip from the wifi code to pool hours and more.

The Kona Makai Condo Community has everything you need to enjoy your Hawaiian getaway. It features an oceanfront heated pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, tennis courts, workout room, BBQ grill area and more - everything you need to enjoy the tranquil view and refreshing ocean air. It is conveniently located just 1 mile South of the heart of historic Kona near restaurants, shopping and the farmers market. The Kona Makai condos are very sought after and have many repeat guests and people who have even visited 5-15 years ago and specifically want to come back to Kona Makai for how nice the lovely grounds are kept with gorgeous plants and flowers and the perfect sunset location it offers.
