Million dollar view of Lake Michigan in Coloma. Private beach and heated pool.

This is a gorgeous 4-bedroom (4th bedroom is an open loft with sleeper sofas), 2 full-bath, fully air conditioned condo on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Between late June and mid-August, we accept one-week reservations on a Saturday to Saturday basis.

We are located on a quiet, wooded property. The paved walking/golf cart path outside our front door takes you to a 1,000-foot wide sandy, private beach. The path is a bit steep and may be challenging for the elderly. We have a golf cart available for convenient transport to beach and swimming pool.

Other resort amenities include a large, in-ground heated pool and patio area, picnic area, fire pits, and an indoor common area w/laundry.

The main level of the condo features hardwood floors, a master suite w/queen bed, personal deck and full bath, and a full kitchen and dining room. From the spacious living room with 20-foot ceiling, a sliding patio door provides access to the huge deck on which you can take in the expansive lake view while grilling.

The upper level has berber carpeting. The lake view bedroom has a queen bed & individual balcony. The back bedroom has a queen and twin bed, and an individual balcony with side view of lake, The loft has two sofas and a recliner chair. A full bath is there as well.

You are only minutes from shopping, public golf courses, public beaches, and wineries. Downtown Coloma (10 min); St Joseph (15 min); South Haven (25 min), Saugatuck (40 min), Holland (50 min), and approximately 2 hours from Chicago.

Annual Family Vacation

Great location with access to Lake Michigan. Nice, clean condo with all the amenities. The homeowner is a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back.

Standing on the deck from my left to my right, all you see is beautiful Lake Michigan. A different five star sunset every night, even if it’s cloudy, the lake puts on its shoe instead. Super large beach. Our host, Natalie and Ed made everything flow seamlessly. Only one question on the a/c and Ed was back wit me in minutes to talk it over and solve the problem. The Condo was comfortable and roomy and clean. Would highly recommended this rental.

beautiful beach stay!

I came with my children in their low 20's and we ALL had a wonderful time! I can see how someone might want to consider a golf cart to go up and down the incline to the beach but we did fine. The beach was amazing and felt private....sandy,warm, clean, wonderful. The house had room for all of us and the 2 bathrooms a must. The kitchen was well equipped as we made dinner in most nights. The deck and view was beautiful! Parking was easy and it was close to town and restaurants if you choose as well as wineries and golfing.We would definitely go again and recommend to others!!!

Lake Michigan Beach Getaway

This property is all about access to beautiful Lake Michigan. We have stayed in this area many times, but never in this condo. We've already reserved our spot for next summer. We spent a week in this condo with extended family and had plenty of room. The kitchen was very well equipped and we loved the table and glider on the outside deck. These were perfect settings to watch the sunset. Everything was clean upon arrival and we appreciated the detailed notes from Natalie on where to find things and things to do. My MIL enjoyed the warm pool and trips to St. Joe. My husband was able to golf at several local courses. I was able to work in the mornings using on-site wifi, then spend all day at the beach with family. Cell service is limited at the beach and in the unit, at no fault of the owners. The beach was great this year. The water was a comfortable temp, clean and calm. Keep in mind - the beach changes daily. Two big storms during our stay brought down lots of clay. On the first day, there were 20 feet of rocks at the shore of the lake, they were all gone 2 days later.

Wonderful relaxing family vacation.

We were very pleased with the property and amenities. Communication was excellent and made the process very smooth. Owner also communicated an excellent list of recommendations on places to eat and entertainment in the area. Highly recommend this property to anyone!

Peaceful

My family had a great stay at this spacious and comfortable condo. Walk to the beach is quite steep and difficult for older guests, but my family was fine with it. Can’t beat the front row seat to Lake Michigan sunsets and a very peaceful private beach!

Wonderful Beach

We had a relaxing stay over a long weekend and the private beach was the highlight of this property. It was nice to have a secluded and quite place with a 5-7 minute drive to St. Joe for restaurants. The condo is a good size but the real prize here is the private beach. The path down is a quick 90 second walk on a steep incline, no issue for us but as noted in the other reviews, older people may have an issue. It's a beautiful little beach, peaceful in the morning with coffee, and uncrowded in the day time even with other guests. Beautiful views at night from the deck overlooking the bluff at sunset.

Amazing view, location and beach!

We couldn’t have been happier with this choice to have a family get together. The view was fantastic. The beach was a good size for people to enjoy without feeling crowded with no privacy. It’s proximity between St Joseph and Southhaven allowed us to find lots of activities and restaurants when we ventured out. The owner (Natalie) was a pleasure to work with.

Great Beach

3rd time staying at the property. This time stayed with another couple at a larger unit. The kids had a great time at the beach and pool. If you have small children or elderly would HIGHLY recommend you get a golf cart to get to the beach. This condo was actually better than the pics.

Creating New Memories and Remembering the Past!

This is a lovely vacation home. It is spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. I chose this property for our small family because of the location near family and friends and because it offered both views of Lake Michigan and beach access. I’m in my mid 70s and loved the privacy of the main floor bedroom/bathroom that offered separation from the rest of my family who used the upstairs bedrooms and bath. We were fortunate to experience great beach weather. We are thankful that the owner provided a wagon, lawn chairs, and sun umbrellas to use at the beach. I am 76 yeats young and healthy. We did not rent a golf cart and I was able walk down to the beach and back each day. I loved the fact that I made new memories with my grandchildren. At the same time I reminisced about my youth growing up in the area. We also enjoyed the large dining table by the windows that view Lake Michigan. We enjoyed meals and playing games together at that table. All kitchen appliances and the 2 AC units worked fine. Overall we enjoyed a great week! Thank you!

Great family getaway!

My husband and I stayed for a week with our three grandchildren ages 7, 13 & 14. The stay was very enjoyable. The hosts provided us with more than enough information regarding surrounding places to eat, shop, go to the movies etc.. The condo was clean, cozy and had everything you could possibly need and somethings that we forgot to bring from home. No need to bring any kitchen wear! I brought things I had no need to even unpack. The views from the balconies and the deck were beautiful - particularly the sunsets! The private beach was ideal and the other families at the site were very friendly. The neighbor in the next condo was very nice and informative regarding the surrounding area. The pool was nice as well. The walk down the slope to the beach is steep and there is a place close-by that rents golfcarts but we didn't feel a need. The wi-fi is glitchy but we were able to get all of our streaming channels on TV. The owner even left us a welcoming gift with a lovely note. Overall, a great place where we'd absolutely stay again.

Spacious condo w lake view

Loved condo —big rooms, comfortable. Bummer having to bring your own towels and central washer broken. Natalie Uber responsive! Deck wonderful for lake viewing - spectacular sunsets. Path to lake quite steep (we rented a golf cart) and path from golf cart parking to beach nearly impossible for my 76 yo sister to maneuver. Beach incredible - warm water mid-August. Clean lake. Don’t miss the red folder that has every detail you need, especially the beef filets from the local grocer and DiMaggio’s pizza. Short trip to Saugatuck. Overall great week!

Kids loved the beach in the morning and pool in the afternoon

The house and furnishings were comfortable and pleasant for two adults, a toddler, and a baby. The deck overlooking Lake Michigan was perfect for the kids naptime and bedtime so we didn't have to waste time sitting inside. We loved going to the beach in the morning (usually deserted) and pool in the afternoon to keep the kids entertained -- great combo.

Great Relaxing Lake Michigan Vacation Spot

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a vacation with my in-laws, sister-in-law, and three small children and it was wonderful. The pool was a lifesaver, and the beach and views were amazing. Make sure you get a golf cart if you have people with ambulation issues as the walk down to the beach is pretty steep.

Quiet Setting and Great Views

Our stay at this property was everything we had hoped it would be - a quiet, private getaway with the family. The pictures don't do the property justice, in that the actual condo is much larger than it appears, providing plenty of space for everyone. The beach was wonderful, the water is not deep, and there is a sand bar that carries out into the lake about 100 yards where you can stand in waste deep water. The path down to the beach can be a bit strenuous if you're carrying beach supplies and children down. While we didn't want the expense of renting a golf cart ($400-500 for the week), in hindsight we would strongly recommend renting one, especially for older visitors (make sure you make the rental in advance, as they are typically sold out during the week). There was a pool onsite as well, which worked out great for the kids on days when the lake had some angry waves. The property is also located perfectly between South Haven and St. Joe's, providing easy options for meals and things to do besides swimming. Natalie, the property owner, was incredibly communicative upfront, providing us with all the information we needed for the property itself, and we felt well informed on what to expect while staying at the property. While we didn't need any assistance during our stay, we knew she was only a call or text away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we look forward to coming back!

Wonderful location with a great private beach

House was good, definitely needed the golf cart rental for older parent. We felt the loft type bedroom shouldn’t be considered a bedroom because of open wall that connects to rest of house. Beds and linens were comfy. Didn’t understand the need to bring all towels and washcloths. The beach experience was fantastic! Able to walk for miles along the shore.

Great stay

Great location, great beach. Would stay again. Only complaints were the rather steep ramp down to the beach (rent a golf cart if you have bad knees) and the crabby owners on the property, who made a point to question us every time we went to the pool and rudely let us know that the bathroom at the pool was for owners only. "Renters can use their own bathrooms, we're not in the business of cleaning toilets.". Not very welcoming.

Sister’s getaway

Enjoyed our stay at this lakeside condo. Natalie was very responsive and accommodating. Awesome views of Lake Michigan. We will come back again when the weather is more cooperative. We had a great time in spite of the rain.

Fall break

The entire process was easy. The location was great. Private beach access, an awesome view of Lake Michigan, plenty of space, near several parks, and South Haven is very close.

Great Weekend

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the property. We came with our family of 4, but it would be big enough to stay with another family of 4. The view and beach below were amazing. Furnishings were fine. Nice distance to surrounding area restaurants and activity...without being right in the busy area. Would prefer not to have to bring towels...but not that big a deal since we're driving from home.

We fell in love with southwest Michigan the first time that we visited the area. We love it for many reasons, but feel that when we come, we get away from it all and can relax with the beach, ambiance and fun things to do in the area. One of our highlights was picking apples on a sunny October day at Big Dan's U Pick Em orchard.

It's also great to visit in the spring and fall to walk the beach, visit local restaurants, play golf and pick fruit. Restaurants here have to be good to survive. Please ask for our list of favorite attractions! Your family can enjoy a full sunset every evening while enjoying your favorite beverages and grilling.
