This 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms Colonial style custom home sits on 1.37 acres of nature and tranquility featuring an in-ground heated pool, large 8-person hot tub, 3-season screened patio, chef's style kitchen, and finished basement with wet bar.

Silver Beach is ~12min drive. Great for its playground, splash pad, and amazing sunsets.

Downtown St. Joseph (shops, restaurants) and Grand Mere State Park (great hiking) are 10 mins away. Wineries and craft breweries are also in close proximity.

OUTDOOR: In-ground heated pool (typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day), large hot tub, enclosed 3-season screened patio, wooded ravine setting, fire pit & lounge chairs

INDOOR: 3 flat-screen cable TVs, floor-to-ceiling windows, 2 living spaces, fireplace, baby grand piano, wet bar

The house was huge and accommodated a family of 11 easily. It was clean and I appreciated all of the amenities. The pool and hot tub gave unlimited entertainment for the kids. Itā€™s very close to Silver Beach and close to stores and restaurants. Itā€™s a nice,secluded property that allows a family to enjoy vacation. The owners communicate quickly and easily.

Great Fun for the Family

The kitchen is spacious enough for everyone to cook together with ample kitchen equipment, there are plenty of rooms and bathrooms for the whole fam. And the pool and hot tub were the hit of the week! The kids never wanted to leave. Thank you for opening your very welcoming home, Joanna!

Very Nice!

We stayed at this home with 2 other families for a holiday celebration. We all agreed that it was the cleanest VRBO we have ever rented. It was also nice that we could all be together, as well as have our own separate space. The light switch locations are a bit quirky, but that is the only sort of complaint that we had! The home is well appointed and well kept.

Amazing Home! Exceptional Stay!

This home was exactly what we needed and more. We had a large group of family in town for a wedding nearby. Everyone had plenty of room. The home was well stocked with all the basics and more. The home was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well, which isn't always the case. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the outdoor fire area. Everyone in our group raved about the house. We may be back next summer just for a quick getaway. Thank you Joanna for an amazing stay!

Wonderful Place!

The property was better than pictured and described. The house was spacious, clean and very well kept. The pool and hot tub were a big hit with our family that included multiple adults and 7 young children. Great location too - a short drive to St. Joe's beach and great restaurants. Our hosts were accessible and helpful. Great place!

Great Week for Our Whole Family

We rented this home for the whole family (us, our kids and our grandkids) for a week. It's a beautiful house on a large lot at the back of a quiet subdivision. The pool was great and St. Joe's was only 15 minutes away. The yard could have used some maintenance, but all in all, we had a great time.

Outstanding Vacation Home

Our stay was just wonderful in Stevensville, MI. Our house was just right for my entire family and Joanna was a wonderful host, always responded to my text if I had any question concerning the house and even told us of places to visit while we were here. It was such a pleasant and rested vacation. My family said, Granny can we come back here next year. And you know how sometimes you look at pictures on the internet and there different than you expected, say like the pool is much smaller, well the pool at our house was even bigger than expected. Just to sum it up, we had a spectacular vacation!!!

Family Getaway

This house was amazing! We wanted a house for the family to all get together to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. This place was perfect! 5 large bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a huge kitchen for us all to cook in. We spent a ton of time on the screened in porch that overlooks a large ravine full of greenery. You are in a subdivision but the way the house is positioned it feels isolated. It was absolutely lovely - we had a great time and would love to come back in the future.

So much space!

This house delivered in every way for my family in town for a family wedding. The bedrooms are spacious and there are plenty of bathrooms. The large kitchen was a great gathering space and we watched bowls games on New Years. A few brave souls even used the hot tub. I am saving this property with hopes of returning in warm weather.

Great Family Home

My extended family (6-75yrs) rented this home for the week of Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time!! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils, pans, roasters, dishes, etc to cook our Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed the fun games in the basement, bonfire in the back, and even the hot tub which was very clean. We played lots of board games on the big dining table, had a cozy movie night and made wonderful family memories. There was plenty of space for hanging out and ample bedrooms for all the family members. We ran into one plumbing issue because the village had flushed the pipes. We contacted the owners and they had someone there fixing the issue that day! We were very pleased. They really thought of everything - closets were stocked with hangers and laundry baskets, board games and puzzles were provided, numerous bath and hot tub towels were available and two washing machines and two dryers for laundry. The neighborhood was very quiet with a wooded back lot so it felt private. It is just a short drive into town where we enjoyed holiday shopping. It truly felt like a Hallmark holiday movie. We had such a great time!

Just Right For Our Family

Had the family in town for a wedding at "The Boardwalk" (super venue) and this home was perfect for all of us. Thankfully, the weather held after Labor Day and the pool remained open to occupy kids while the adults did "wedding stuff" and plenty of space for all ages to enjoy each others company without strife. Highly recommend!

Family Weekend in St. Joseph, MI

Our family, including 8 adults and 2 grandchildren, had a wonderful time. The house was lovely and situated on a secluded wooded lot. We were able to enjoy some quality family time, in the pool, the hot tub, screened in porch and sitting around the fire pit making s'mores. It was an easy, short 10 minute drive from the house to St. Joseph and Silver beach. We spent an entire day relaxing on the beach and then later went into town to sample some wine and walk through the many shops in town. Our granddaughters especially liked playing in the sand, riding the carousel and running through the splash pad at Silver beach.

Family vacation 2023

The house is large and beautiful with a great floor plan and a basement that we called a kidsā€™ paradise with both ping pong and pool tables. The pool with a low dive and a hot tub was ideal for all 14 of us! The house is tucked back in a residential neighborhood, but it felt like we were alone in a woodsy area. The location was perfect for a day at the beach, shopping and lunch in St. Joseph, and a day trip to Holland. One day it rained and we enjoyed reading on the enclosed porch, playing games and watching movies in the den! We had a great time!

Perfect Family Vacation

Our 5 days were perfect. The house was the perfect size for our family. Plenty of space . Well stocked . Beach towels were a welcome surprise as we spent a lot of time in the pool and the hot tub . Pool liner definitely needs some work , very wrinkled, but we would definitely book again .

You can't get a better review

When the four-year-old walked into the kids' bedroom and saw the bunk beds she said, "This is the best day of my life!" Our group of six adults and five kids had a great family getaway weekend here. Is the house big enough for that many? When trying to find the two-year-old, the six-year-old said, "This house is so big we'll NEVER find him." (We did.) Everything worked as it should, and there were no complaints, so I'm not going to itemize all the things we liked - just check the Amenities list. You're gonna like staying here.

Beautiful Big Home!

Extended family vacation was very enjoyable here! 8 adults 6 kids. Plenty of spaces to lounge and chat. Pool and hot tub were great! Pool needed to be vacuumed but the size was perfect. Plentiful bathrooms/bedrooms and storage. Needed more towels and wash cloths for large group so we had to do laundry daily. Backyard fire pit area is not safe for kiddos because it backs up to a steep ravine and there is no fence. 15-20 min drive to beach. 1 mile to Meijer grocery store/ gas station.
