This one of a kind River Getaway sits on a island where Manatees and Otters are frequently seen. You can cast your line and catch fresh water fish from the dock or river banks. Slide the canoes or kayaks right into the water for a fun time.

Just minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico for scalloping and salt water fishing. There is a fire pit and a large yard for fun family games. Downstairs offers a grill , and a screened in picnic area . You will also find a room with a sink ready to clean your catch of the day.

This property includes three bedrooms, two baths, a large open concept, living area, dining room a bar in the kitchen with three stools. Washer and dryer are also available. This River House has a screened in front porch and deck and downstairs has a screened in picnic area with a deck It sits on an island surrounded by the Steinhatchee River. It is also just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico where you may enjoy fishing and scalloping.

Please be mindful of children and anyone who cannot swim. As the house is surrounded by water, take caution while on docks and beware of surroundings at all times. Please remember: no pets and no smoking at any time.

Fantastic place, Very clean with all items needed. Plenty of room for everyone and the Living Room/Open Area made it easy to spend time together. The place feels peaceful and secluded but only 10min from main town area and boat ramp. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd stay here. Beautiful location and local to lots of things to do. Great owners and grounds keeper. Couldnt find remote to tv and within less than a half hour the grounds keeper had us a new one and made sure it was connected to the tv. Just awesome time. Thanks again for the stay.

Wonderful experience

What a wonderful place to escape from the busyness of life. The house sits like it's on a peninsula-water views everywhere. The rush of the river is like constant white-noise, providing a wonderful ambiance to enjoy conversation, games, and landscape. If you are looking to kayak or paddleboard, come with experience and lifejackets, as while we were there,the river moved much to fast for anyone to paddle back upstream.

Great place. Absolutely beautiful. Plenty of everything needed to make it feel as comfortable as home. Smart tvs in all rooms.if you were home. Beds were comfy. Scenery is gorgeous. Grounds well maintained and house is decorated with some really cool artwork. . Host was very welcoming and helpful. . House is very roomy and felt like a perfect hime away from home. Recomend hoghly.

Impressive

From the moment we pulled in, we were in all at this beautiful location and house with glass panoramic view of the river. All the bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, and there was a huge living space that opened up to the kitchen and dining area, which is where we spent most of our indoor time. I brought my two kids and their spouses and my grandbaby, and we had a place to park our boat. We enjoyed the canoes and kayaks up the river and even saw a baby alligator. Experience was phenomenal and we created amazing memories and I am so grateful that we had such a beautiful place to do so we have all decided that we will make this an annual trip. Our host was responsive and informative. I highly recommend staying here.

Me and my husband both were raised in Steinhatchee Fl. I lived on the Gulf and he lived up the river. We have 3 amazing children and we love all things water,fishing and hiking. After 40 years in Fl. We moved to Tennessee for work purposes but absolutely love it here as well. We really are blessed with the best of both worlds. We still spend much of our time in Florida as we love to fish on the river and in the gulf as well as scalloping.
