The Marsh site at the Privacy RV Retreat of Steinhatchee is a serene location within walking distance of the Sea Hag Marina. This listing is for one renovated RV full hook up. The RV beds are said to be extremely comfortable by our guests two beds that will sleep for4. There are multiple RV full hook ups on site for friends and family to bring their own personal RVs. Bring all your toys to this spacious property that can accommodate all you can bring. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the view of Highland Creek and the surrounding marsh. Fantastic location within walking distance of the famous sea hag Marina. If interested in having friends with an RV join you contact owner.

Family trip

We loved our stay. We all enjoyed the lake and paddle boat. The large screened in porch overlooking lake is a perfect spot to relax and visit. The owner was awesome and text away if needed. Perfect for large families and great location in town. I would definitely recommend this booking!

The allure of our property is the privacy and a very nice lake. The location is amongst the best in Steinhatchee! No mention of the property in general and there were two houses involved? The furniture and appliances are mostly new or at least less than three years old. Also, the Lakehouse features a really nice screened in deck with great entertainment amenities. Would like feedback as to what customers believe needs to be updated?

Convenient location but needs major maintenance work!

The location of the property was within walking distance of Sea Hag marina, which was very nice. It had enough space for all of my guests, but the property itself was very misrepresented. It was not very clean, and there was an enormous amount of maintenance work that needed to be done. Most of the lightbulbs were burned out, many electrical sockets did not work, and one of the TVs did not work. There was a terrible musty smell up in the treehouse, And the floor of the bathroom was falling through. The laundry did not work in the main house, therefore we had to use a different location in the cabin. Overall, my family had a great time, and the pond was nice to use, but the house definitely needs some updating and maintenance. (Also, please remove the old used bars of soap from the showers… those were gross.)

We apologize for the old soap that was definitely an oversight. As for the rest if there’s anything broken in the house, we always encourage people to let us know immediately so that it can be repaired. We had been through a hurricane on that house had a enormous amount of work that needed to be done. However, there are still some things that might crop up as a result of the hurricane. New washer was put in the very next day. We constantly work on improving an upgrading properties. Recent guests made no such complaints and if there’s something broke, we don’t know about it then it can’t be fixed. There are a number of electrical sockets in the house. We actually covered some up. There were too many. Would’ve been helpful if you had let us know about these things Arrival as soon as they were discovered? For example, the washing machine worked before you arrived, and if we knew it was broke it would’ve been fixed or replaced that day.

Perfect family spot

Accommodating up to 20 people of all different ages in one spot is not an easy feat, but this spot did it. The kids had a blast in the lake, the adults loved the secluded area and it is located close to everything. Kirk was also really great and helpful. Can't wait to plan another trip.

The Cabin at Steinhatchee

Kirk’s property is beautiful and has great access to the heart of Steinhatchee! We loved staying at the Cabin and Lakehouse! Both had everything we needed for a great extended weekend of Scalloping! The kids fished off the dock while the adults relaxed on the deck. He had an assortment of outdoor grills that we used to entertain. We will definitely be back!
