Tim-Duck-Tu is the Outer Banks vacation home you’ve been dreaming about! Proudly located in Duck, the single most popular OBX vacation destination all along the Outer Banks. You’ll get the rest you need and have the fun you’ve been craving too!

With 5 beautiful bedrooms (one master suite), over 500 feet of sun and covered decking, private pool all surrounded by nature in a huge tree-lined lot. The light and airy interiors add to this relaxing and well maintained vacation home. After spending a glorious day at the beach, try beating the kids at a game of shuffleboard or foosball.

Not a good start

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting from Carolina Shores since 2012. We have always had a great experience, however this last visit we were very disappointed, we called ahead to see if the house was ready. They said not it was not confirmed clean, we would have to wait,so we waited then we get the keys ( no welcome bag was provided, which has been in previous years). The house was obviously NOT clean. Sand, dirt, dust, crumbs, dead bugs on all levels, pool was not clean. It took over an hour to clean the house before we noticed the pool, office was closed by then. However I email and got a response in the morning with the pool cleaner coming. The house being dirty was not addressed. Other than an apology.

Nice location in Duck. Beach access a plus.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pool stayed dirty we skimmed it and emptied the skimmer basket all week but the debri all over the property kust kept coming in. I swept the pool deck but having to sweep that whole exterior is a job. Need to use a blower and done regularly with all the leaves. Years of broken down debri and leaves are at the pool fence base. The inside was also dusty and not well cleaned. It needs a top to bottom deep clean. Cobwebs to medicine cabinets. No one in the office during posted hours. Had to call reservations to get someone on the phone.

Last year we stayed in Corolla and honestly we were hoping to get the same house but it was already booked. We stumbled across this and it was a blessing in disguise. Great location and looked better in person than in pictures. Had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

The house was filthy when we arrived and we found multiple bugs all over including cockroaches. will never rent from Carolina Shores Vacation Rental's again.

Tim Duck Tu Review

Nice layout with plenty of room and a good sized pool. The game room was a nice touch along with the cornhole game. Unfortunately the outdoor shower was non-functional and was a big "miss" for us given all the activity coming from the beach and pool area. The house was a bit musty and one of the main floor bedrooms had a sour smell in the closet that spread throughout the room. The distance from the beach question was answered "about 880 feet" which we should have done the math and realized it was a half-mile which was a bit further than we had hoped for.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay! We arrived late in the evening. The previous renters left a ton of sand in the pool and broke the bathroom towel racks. We reported the damage with no issues. They were all ready aware and had scheduled the pool cleaners for an extra round of cleaning before we were even awake the following day. House sits on a dead end street. We loved the seclusion with all the woodland around the property. It's only about a half mile walk to the beach side with a small parking area for those that would rather drive. Great vacation!!

Good location but needs some TLC!

Overpriced! When we arrived at the house, we had to wait because it was still being cleaned. The grass/weeds/trees around the house need to be cut and removed from the perimeter. The pool and hot tub had a ton of sand in them. The pool needed chlorine. The information from Southern Shores Realty said the pool is cleaned between guests and once during the week. I don't think that happened. There were multiple broken toilet paper holders and towel racks laying on the floor. There was trash strewn around the outside of the house. One of the previous renters must have been sick because the toilet brush/holder was disgusting. During the week, we found roaches both inside and outside of the house (I know, we were near the water). You couldn't leave outside lights on at night because of all the bugs. And if you let the kitchen table light on after dark, the bugs ended up inside. The best part of this house was it's location. It was close to the beach and town.

Just what we wanted

We enjoyed our stay the property was as advertised, The pool was very nice and secluded from the neighbors for privacy. Interior of the house is very clean exterior could use a little cleaning. House was furnished with all pots and pans needed, some of the TVs were a little dated but did not bother us

Family vacation

This was our second year at the tim Duck Tu house we enjoyed our time just as much as the first. Great house great town👍🏽

Great Vacation at Tim Duck Tu

We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool was amazing. The house had plenty of room for my family. Easy walk or quick drive to beach access. Nice place.

Just ok

The house was not well cleaned. Tables and cupboards grimy, outside walks and pool deck dirty with leaves and sand, spider webs all over the outside, deck boards curling and need to be replaced. In need of upgrading overall

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been renting Homes in OBX since mid 80's. This Rental had a very good location & layout met our needs. The downside were the many VERY large spider webs outside that were everywhere. We also had to kill these large black bugs in the house every night. We had to clean the leaves out of the pool.I don't see us renting this house again.
