Your Hayward adventure begins at this four-season, waterfront cabin, which features a cozy interior with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, upper loft and spacious family rooms overlooking beautiful Grindstone Lake in Hayward, WI. Nestled in a serene location, this property offers a wonderful escape for guests. When you step outside, you will be amazed at the peace and quiet and natural beauty. Keep an eye out for majestic bald eagles soaring above the lake with loons, geese, and ducks swimming offshore. The large upper deck near the front door has cozy seating with tables. Walk from the lower-level walk-out to the large patio; from there you can head to the newly installed firepit area to enjoy the view of the lake or watch the sunrise with your morning coffee; or head down the stairs to the 68-foot dock. Grindstone Lake is one of the area's best fishing lakes. The public boat landing is only 1/4 mile from the Eagles' Loft. Bring your own boat or rent a pontoon from one of the nearby marinas. On a sunny afternoon, you'll see boats anchored and swimmers cooling off in the water. Although there are jet skis, water skiers and tubers, the lake is relatively quiet. Explore the 3,176-acre lake with the (4) kayaks provided with your rental. You will be amazed by the incredible views of the lake! This lake front home is approximately 12 miles south of the city of Hayward. It's about 140 miles northeast of the Twin Cities Metro Area. The Hatchery Creek Trailhead (Birkie Trail and CAMBA mountain bike trail) access is also approximately 12 miles from the cabin. There is a casino nearby as well as several wineries. Parking--you can park up to 4 cars as well as one boat trailer at the cabin. Sorry, we do not allow camping in RVs on the property or tents.
