Beautiful newly renovated townhome fit for the whole family. Open concept first floor with seating for all. Modern kitchen, perfect for cooking up a great meal, and enjoying it in the dining area right off the kitchen.

THE SPACE: Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. New kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and new bathrooms. Top floor has 2 bedroom and 1 full bathroom. The basement has 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom with living space.
ENTERTAINMENT: High Speed WiFi access will be provided. Smart 4k streaming to log into your favorites such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube and more to enjoy your favorite shows and movies.
LAUNDRY: Washer and dryer in the basement.
SECURITY: Yale smart lock, NEST Thermostat, Wi-Fi, Ring camera front & back of the house.
ONSITE PARKING: 2 private parking space available for guests on property with garage door. Street parking is also available in front of the house.

My wife and I stayed here with my son and another family friend for 5 nights. This is an older building with 3 levels. The upper level is 2 nice size bedrooms separated by a bathroom. The middle level is the kitchen/dining/living room and also the entrance from the front and back. The lower level has another living room with bath/bedroom and laundry. There’s also an entrance to the lower level. Our friend stayed in the lower level, which gave her the ability to have separation from us when she wanted it. Overall - I was really impressed with the updates done through the whole property. Both baths have been updated and in great condition. The kitchen was quite spacious and nice. All the appliances were high end and I was quite surprised by that. There’s parking behind the property - access from an alley. If you have a big vehicle, it’s tricky to get into the space. I had a minivan. Still wonderful to have a dedicated parking space. All the beds were very comfortable - slept much better than I ever do in a hotel. Ruth was also very responsive to questions through the whole weekend and the check-in and out process was way easier than a hotel. Thanks Ruth for a great stay.The location was also great - across the street is an elementary school with a nice playground - easy walking distance. Also good access to main roads taking you anywhere.

Great neighborhood. Quiet except for sirens from emergency vehicles. Need to drive to shops. Safe enclosed backyard with parking & garage door. Very clean & modern!

Prime location

We came to DC for a family trip and couldn’t have picked a better location. We were about 20 minutes away from any place to went to visit which was perfect. We traveled with our kids and their grandmother and we all just enough space to be comfortable. My husband and I would definitely stay there again.

Great home base for exploring DC

I stayed here with my wife and two teenaged daughters, and the place was perfect for us. The basement bedroom/bathroom/living space was perfect for our oldest to chill out in, while our younger daughter and us stayed in the bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. We cooked a few meals in during our stay and nearby shopping was easy and convenient.We drove all around DC using SpotHero to find reasonable parking, and really appreciated the of secure parking space in the back of the home. Note that if you have a larger vehicle and someone is parked across the alley, it can be a little difficult to get into the spot, but we always managed. Not uncommon for city parking, but something to keep in mind.We picked this place due to the spacious accommodations while not being too far from all the attractions, and we were not disappointed. The place is plenty big and the drive in/out of DC took less than 30 min. It was a great compromise location.While we didn’t have any real problems during our stay, I did contract Ruth once or twice and she was always quick to respond and very helpful.Would definitely stay here again—thanks so much Ruth!

Perfect Stay

Our family of four couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our trip to D.C. The home was beautiful and clean. Communication with the owner was top notch. The location was great! We felt safe and could easily find everything that we needed. We appreciate the opportunity to make memories here!

Birthday in the Capitol

This was my baby girls 15th birthday weekend. who wanted to see Red Pandas. I was able to find this property some what last minute for us, but the advertisements held true to form... Once in the property you cant tell it was recentl remodeled. The decor was very amazing, and spacious. My daughters enjoyed the multiple levels giving everyone their own space.. with all the amenities of home. The owner was very forth coming that there was a unexpected problem with the heating system which her husband was attempting to repair prior to our arrival. Unable to repair the heating system they prepared the home with multiple electrical heaters. Upon our arrival the house was very warm and welcoming, clean, and smelled wonderful. Right away you can tell that their was very particular womens touch in the decoration of this home. The living area was spacious, set up family style, I would have like to use the area for board games and maybe a card game or two, but like I said my daughter was turning 15 and my other daughter is 16. So they have better things to do. Only two things that we found that we had to adjust too. That there were no bath cloths available. And parking..Private parking is available at the home, being that I drive F150 backing in to the "garage" area was a bit challenging. But overall this was a wonderful vacation for us.. And we as a whole would recommend this property and the owner to anyone looking for a getaway in thr Nations Capitol.. Thanks again Ruth....

Mirror, Mirror Where are You?

Everything was wonderful at the home. The home could use a couple of mirrors. It was difficult for all of us to prepare for our event with 2 mirrors.. Other than that, it was a beautiful stay.

Quiet Stay

This looked to be a newly remodeled property, which was nice. Everything was clean and tidy. Off street parking was a bonus. Although its located across from a school it was very quiet. It took us about 20 minutes to get to the main attractions and was an easy drive. We would stay here again.

Great home for a DC getaway

The best vrbo we’ve stayed in. Looks to be newly updated. Timely and clear communication from property owner. A+ in cleanliness. Comfortable beds with new bedding and linens. Spotless kitchen with new appliances. Spotless bathrooms. Safe and secure parking. Short drive into the city for DC attractions. Would come back again

Very Modern and Clean Home

Our group of two couples enjoyed our stay very much. The area is far from the city center but quiet and has parking. The house layout is nice because there are bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs and up. We were going to an event at the Arboretum so it was convenient to that.

Great Place to Stay

I enjoyed the property a lot! On one side of the street is a school, which makes for a quiet neighborhood as long as it isn't drop off or pick up time at school :-). That's easy to avoid though

Just what we needed
