I do want to clarify a few important points for future guests: Your concerns about the A/C were shared only two hours prior to checkout, so unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to address them during your visit. Following your feedback, we had the unit professionally inspected and confirmed to be functioning properly. The HVAC technician noted that the thermostat display tends to read about 3-4 degrees warmer than the actual air temperature, which may have contributed to the perception of inadequate cooling. That said, we understand that during the peak of summer — especially in a cabin that receives direct sunlight for nearly 12 hours a day — keeping indoor temperatures as cool as a hotel may not always be realistic. Still, we strive to provide a comfortable experience and, as a gesture of goodwill, issued you a partial refund. We haven’t received similar concerns from other guests this summer, but your feedback has prompted us to reevaluate how we set expectations for hot-weather stays. We hope you were still able to enjoy your time at the nearby lakes and appreciate your acknowledgment of our cleanliness and communication.
