This one bedroom, one bathroom home is rustic retreat and won't disappoint. The open floor plan is sure to bring a smile to your face as this home is full of love! To the right of the front door, an adorable living room lined with windows opens into the dining area and kitchen. The open living area can be partitioned off to create an additional sleeping area at night. With twin bunk beds, a queen futon and an additional couch, Casita de Tortuga can sleep 6 comfortably. Catch up on some zzz's by taking advantage of the black-out shades! The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and plenty of space to unpack for your stay. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and plenty of space to get ready for your day on the lake!
Outside you will find multiple areas to unwind. The large patio adjacent to the casita is blanketed with shade from the huge oak trees. A large dining table is the perfect place to gather for meals or hang out while grilling on the Big Green Egg and smoker. Enjoy lunches at the picnic table and read a book on the porch swing. End every night star-gazing in the hot tub and listening to some tunes.
Walking towards the lake, you are greeted by a staircase that leads to your own private treehouse, a great place to enjoy cocktails and conversation! With amazing views overlooking Lake LBJ and the beauty surrounding it, here's your chance to live amongst the birds! The treehouse has a small table with seating for four and is waiting to transport you back to childhood!
Lakeside, the boat dock houses a gas grill, small refrigerator to keep your beverages chilled, an area to clean your fish, an outdoor shower and plenty of space to relax by the water! To the left of the boat dock, enjoy cold evenings cooking smores around the firepit. Join the kids for a dip in the roped off swimming area or some quiet time fishing off the pier. Bringing your boat? Casita de Tortuga has plenty of space to tie up your boat! Just around the corner of the home is a boat ramp and there is plenty of room in the driveway for your trailer. Enjoy your time on Lake LBJ and at Casita de Tortuga!
You must be 28 years of age or older to rent this property. Maximum occupancy always is 6 guests and 3 vehicles, strictly enforced. Please come and have a good time but be aware that behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive will result in forfeiting the remainder of your stay. No smoking or pets are allowed on the property. Kayaks and SUP are available for guest use (must sign liability waiver.)
We love our neighbors and want to be extremely considerate of their peace and property! Noise curfew is in effect from 10pm-8am.
