Thank you for sharing your feedback. We strive to provide every guest with an excellent experience and were disappointed to learn that your stay did not meet your expectations. For the benefit of future guests, we would like to clarify a few points. The home's published check-in time is 4:00 PM, and we were contacted from inside the property prior to that time. While a cleaning scheduling issue was being addressed, we responded immediately and offered multiple solutions, including a refund, which were declined. The jet ski ramp area was undergoing planned improvements during your stay, and the safety tape was in place solely to identify an active construction area that affected the jet ski ramp only. The remainder of the dock and waterfront amenities remained available for guest use. Water depth varies around the dock, and many guests regularly enjoy fishing from the deeper-water side of the pier. The home is equipped with multiple cooking skillets and cookware, and the property had been professionally maintained, including lawn care and pest control, prior to arrival. As with any lakefront property, water conditions and outdoor elements can vary depending on weather and recent rainfall. We respect that every guest's experience is unique. However, as owners, we take great pride in maintaining this lake house and providing a welcoming experience for our guests. We are grateful that many of our guests return year after year, and that our many 5-star reviews consistently reflect the cleanliness, amenities, and family-friendly lake experience we strive to provide.
