Single level, roomy and comfortably elegant with lake views from the open living areas. Lake LBJ is a boating and fishing paradise! This unassuming lake house is set on some of the best waterfront available on the lake. Granite Shoals is a sleepy former fishing village away from the hustle and bustle of the busier resort areas. The quiet, sheltered cove is perfect for swimming, floating, fishing, bird watching or just relaxing and taking in the view. Perfect getaway to one of Texas' premier lake destinations. Expansive lake Views from living room, kitchen, and dining room. King bed in master and the second bedroom, queen bed in 3rd bedroom. Fantastic sunsets. There is a boat lift available for up to 22' V-hull boats, and a variety of boat rental businesses close by. A quick drive to Fredericksburg, Austin and the quaint downtown areas of Marble Falls, Johnson City, and Blanco. Wifi and desk area make remote work easy. Fenced (except waterfront, and one section is a low fence of 4’), doggy door and dog run. Come escape to the Lake!

Wonderful place with very responsive owner! One facet we enjoyed is the multiple seating areas. Even one over the water. Plus a volley ball set up in the water.

The property was fantastic. Loved the 3/4 room, covered boat lift and the all-glass gable end view of the lake. This is exactly what we were looking for our vacation. The host was very communicative and responsive. The house is very roomy for the square footage. Wish I had added a day or two to our stay.

Awesome lake house getaway!

Spent the week after Christmas with the family-beautiful sunsets, great lake access for kayaks, lots of room in the kitchen/dining/den space for cooking, dining, playing games or relaxing by the fireplace. Porch offers the perfect place to watch the sunset over the lake. Highly recommend!

Amazing Lake house

We have stayed here before and will keep coming back. This house is everything we need for the best getaway. From the views to the amazingly stocked inside. Everything we could ever had needed was right there. Owners are quick to respond to any questions.

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing stay. We stayed at this location for a month and it was a great stay with beautiful views of lake LBJ. It was quiet and the weather was amazing. It is located an hour from Austin and Fredericksburg. We would definitely stay again! Love all the amazing sunsets we were able to see while there!

Family getaway

Great winter retreat with amazing sunsets! Weather allowed us to move easily from the sunroom, porch, and yard…lots of space for indoor and outdoor games. Would rent again!

Peaceful, beautiful spot on the lake

This is a great property with beautiful views of the lake. The home has been beautifully renovated and decorated… it’s very cozy and welcoming. It was cloudy & rainy for most of our visit but the views from the floor to ceiling windows were still beautiful. We made use of the fireplace and ate all our meals at the house. It had everything we needed…plenty of paper products, bakeware and wine glasses. We were able to bring our elderly yellow lab too. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Relaxing Getaway

Week at the Lake

Overall our week was good. When we rented the house we thought we were getting a fully fenced yard, but ended up having to keep our dog on a leash when out in the back yard..

Perfect location for a relaxing getaway

If you are looking for a comfortable home and relaxed atmosphere you can't go wrong at this lovely lakehouse! We spent 4 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the outside seating areas, lakeside recliner chairs and fenced yard for the dog. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of eating areas in and outside of house, comfortable furniture throughout. There are many extras that make for a wonderful trip. Would highly recommend to other guests and can't wait to return in the future!

Perfect getaway

Beautiful lake views. Amazing home with everything you could possibly need. Theresa and Craig Murphy were quick to answer all of our questions and gave us great advice on where to go to eat for our anniversary. We couldn't find a better place to stay. Will definitely stay here again.
