I’m so sorry you had this experience- all our other reviews on the other rental website (22 excellent reviews) are indeed legitimate and we have had very happy renters that have experienced a cozy cabin where their dogs have had a huge fenced in yard and they have had a lovely stay- never any of these comments and I’m so sorry you feel it was this way. We are staying this weekend to check everything out and we are not having these issues nor has anyone said this ever. None of the outlets have sparked (I’ve checked), while the water can sometimes have a rusty smell (it is Wisconsin well water- that’s normal), there is no egg smell. I have a filter on the kitchen sink and the shower that I change regularly and the water is tested by the county for safety on a regular basis. It’s required. The nest thermostat is tricky but it must have got put on eco mode which if you would have reached out to me I would have gladly called you or even came there to show you how to use it. I thought you said you had it figured out. I’m very very sorry this was your experience at our place because I take pride in this cabin and always strive to give my guests a good experience. Again, I’m am here to make sure everything is up to par and I’m sorry you did not feel it was. Sometimes people have different taste and expectations and it seems it is the case from all the rest of our renters we have had from June until now.
