Escape your busy life and stay in the heart of Puerto Rico! Casa Juani - Orocovis is a cozy home sitting on a hill surrounded by breathtaking beautiful views! Enjoy a walk, outdoor adventures, friendly neighbors, local rivers/lakes, Cacique brewing company, local restaurants, zip lining, and the infamous Toro Verde Nature Adventure Park! This house is very special as it is a place my family once called home.

CASA JUANI sits on a beautiful high mountain road directly from the road. This extraordinary house is in a well-known area called Saltos Coli. The ultimate goal at Casa Juani is to discover serenity, rejuvenation, and reconnect with nature. Breathe fresh air and take in the breathtaking views. Please expect narrow, steep & winding country roads on your way to Casa Juani. Orocovis is the heart of the island, so it is about 1 hour and 20 minutes from San Juan/Airport.


Parking:

Guests may park one car in the driveway or up to 3 additional vehicles to the right of the house, where there is ample parking.


Countryside Benefits:

Rest assured, the house is naturally cool in the evenings due to its mountainous location, eliminating the need for an air conditioner. Each bedroom has 54-inch remote-controlled high-speed ceiling fans along with stand-up oscillating fans located in the closets in each bedroom.


Maximize your comfort:

We have equipped the house with screens on all its windows and doors to ensure your comfort. The exterior has solar-powered insect zappers and an extra electric bug zapper. These items are provided to maximize your comfort, although you may not need them. We do suggest you bring your own preferred insect spray for exploring in and around the town and island.

Transportation:

Due to the mountainous location, you must have a vehicle to travel around Orocovis, Puerto Rico. We recommend a 4x4 vehicle when possible.

The town center, "Plaza Publica de Orocovis," is about an 8-minute drive from Casa Juani. Here you will find coffee shops, bakeries, fast food areas, shopping, supermarket, local restaurants, and more.

Uber/Taxi/Lyft/Uber Eats and Public Transportation is not available in this area.

Outdoor Adventures:

If you genuinely enjoy adventure, this is the place for you! In Orocovis, you will find the well-known Toro Verde Nature Adventure Park. This park is home to the LONGEST Zipline in America, which is 1.5 miles long and reaches a speed of 94 miles per hour! The park also has a restaurant and areas to sit and watch the zipline riders.

Orocovis has many Hiking Trails, scenic views, lakes, and rivers. Do some kayaking at the Lago de matrullas!


Create Eye-Catching Content:

Get your Camera ready because Orocovis has many places to go for photo ops! Take advantage of the Dona Juana Waterfall, which is free to access.
Mirador Villalba-Orocovis is another fantastic area for photo opportunities. Spend the day there and experience the beauty. The Mirador is 4,000 feet above sea level and has plenty of places to sit, such as picnic tables and pavilions. Just about anywhere in Orocovis will also give you an opportunity for pictures. The views are amazing!

House Access:

Guests may enter via smart lock access through the driveway. House keys will be available to open the additional doors, but physical keys must remain on the property. Casa Juani has a detached in-law suite that a tenant currently occupies. Please use the clearly marked Casa Juani areas.


Internet:

We have high speed wireless internet available for use during your stay. However, due to the remote location of the home the internet speed may vary on occasion.

Roku Tv's:

We have two Roku smart Tv's in the home. They are already connected to the Wi-Fi, so you can watch live tv or log into your favorite streaming service (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock) and enjoy your choice of entertainment during your stay.

House Rules:

Guests:

A maximum of 10 guests are allowed. However, please note Casa Juani has 1 queen bed, 2 full beds and 2 twin beds. We provide a full size air mattress that can fit 2 more guests. This mattress will fit in the living room or in Bedroom one. Please send us a message if you have any questions. Thank you!

Guest Access:

Extra Guests:

The house can comfortably accommodate 8 guests, however we do provide an additional full size air mattress, for 2 additional guests if the need arises. *PLEASE NO PARTIES*

Kitchen:

It has been newly updated with stainless steel appliances. The round table and bar accommodate eight people, and additional outdoor seating exists.


Coffee Bar—Keurig—Bring your K-cups or use the reusable K cups with your coffee of choice.
The kitchen has an electric stove and a microwave.

Bathrooms:

The house has two full bathrooms with two stand-up showers.

Security:

For your safety and security, there are 2 outdoor security cameras that oversee the entrances to the home.
