We had a very good stay at this home and truly appreciated how attentive and proactive the owners were. Their communication was excellent from start to finish. We arrived very late due to our flight schedule, and it was such a gift to walk into a softly lit home with the cozy fireplace already on. It immediately felt welcoming.The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. I have never seen so many useful tools and we didn’t find ourselves missing a single thing. The bedding and towels were very nice and fluffy, and there was even a thoughtful cozy blanket in the living room. The pillows were a bit flat for our preferences, but otherwise everything was very comfortable.We also appreciated having access to the laundry, which made things easy. The back porch with its string lights looked inviting and would have been a lovely place to sit. We were there during a cold spell, so we didn’t get to enjoy it, but we certainly made good use of the fireplace inside.One thing we didn’t realize ahead of time is that the home is located close to several businesses, mostly law offices, including one next door. They were closed over the weekend, so it was very quiet and didn’t bother us at all. We actually loved being able to walk into town so easily, with sidewalks the entire way. For guests who prefer a more traditional residential neighborhood, it may be helpful to know this in advance.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable.
