We have had a love affair with Sonoma for years and are happy to call it home, every now and again anyway. We took a the wonderful shell of an old 1940's cottage and gave it a complete rework to create the most relaxing, comfortable retreat you can imagine.

Our modern Sonoma cottage is fully renovated with high-end finishes and decorated with style. Whether you want to bike ride around the gorgeous countryside (bikes provided and many wineries within biking distance), walk to Sonoma Plaza for shopping/dining or lounge by the pool all day and dine al fresco, this cottage is for you.

We have also thought of every detail, especially if you want to bring your kids along. We have a gorgeous pool (with automatic cover that holds the weight of a truck, so no safety issues), custom, modern wooden play set, kids biking gear, toys and portable crib/other items for babies. Our cottage also includes built in bunk beds for 2 kids age 12 and under.

Outside, our cottage is perfect for your Sonoma get together, with a heated, ultra-modern UV filtered pool and sleek new poolside furniture for daytime relaxation, an oversized deck with Weber grill and large outdoor table for relaxed dining with friends, and a brand new gas fire pit with laid-back seating for enjoying your last glass of Cab in the evening, under the cafe lights.

Inside, the cottage boasts a brand new custom kitchen with new stainless appliances and a sun soaked indoor dining area directly connected to the deck. Each of the bedrooms includes a Queen size bed with memory foam mattress and the bathroom is stylishly renovated with a deep soaking tub and bluetooth speaker that seamlessly connects to your phone & music. For those who want to stay connected, the cottage has fast Wi-Fi, and 4K smart TV.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! Everything was well-kept and clean and my daughter loved the backyard pool. The location was in good proximity to everything Sonoma has to offer. We were even able to visit a couple of great places within walking distance. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful and in a perfect location, only a few minutes away from Sonoma Plaza. The home came with bicycles too, which made it ideal for cycling into Sonoma itself and hopping from tasting room to tasting room. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. All in all we had a fantastic stay - the fire pit and the swimming pool was a lovely little added bonus too. 10/10 would stay here again and would definitely recommend it for friends, families and couples.

Adorable property

2 gals looking for fun and sun. This lovely place was perfect for our stay. The house is clean, modern and has all the amenities you need. We practically lived in the spacious and well appointed back yard. The walk to the square took about 15 minutes. So much to see in do in Sonoma!

Perfect Week in Sonoma

We spent our son's spring break week in April here. Property was perfect for our 7 year old. Pool, great backyard, fire pit for smores and a fun kids room with some games and toys. Close to great restaurants, hikes and wine tasting. Bonus a spa is walking distance for massages. Good size kitchen and great dining table that we used for games when the weather wasn't great. Windows everywhere - still felt the Sonoma outdoor vibe. Hosts were great - super responsive and the house was fully stocked with paper towels and toilet paper.

Sonoma cottage

Easy communication with the owner. Property as described in listing and had everything needed. Couple of restaurants within easy walking distance and lots of options further away around Sonoma Plaza. Enjoyed garden and pool area.

Amazing cottage great location enjoyed all the facilities - gorgeous warm pool really hot fire pit at night and one of our party left a bag that the host Mark fedex to us the next day - Incredible service cannot thank the host enough and will definitely be back and will not hesitate to recommend this place.

A sweet and relaxing retreat -- perfect for extended family vacation (pool, bikes, dreamy kitchen)

This cottage rental is everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable getaway to the beautiful Sonoma valley. A couple of blocks from the creek trail, we were able to safely bike (with 5 and 7 year olds) everywhere we wanted to go: into town, to the base of the mountain ridge trails, to parks for the kids, the Lodge Resort up the street for the adults, restaurants, Train Town (the kids were crazy about Train Town!), vineyards. I don't want to rave too much about Sonoma because I want it to stay as quaint and friendly as it is. Don't tell too many people. A huge standout of this rental: the host could not have been more accommodating, accessible, or organized (and kind!). Part of the reason we chose this rental was Mark's quick responses from my first inquiry, his knowledge of the place, his eagerness to assist and advise. It felt like we were staying at a friend's place, and he cared about out experience. This mattered a lot. Also, the beds are comfortable with enviably soft sheets and cozy pillows and comforters. There were enough bikes there for all of us, and the pool in the back yard with sun shining down and birdsong in the air was the perfect, private respite. Another highlight: roomy indoor and outdoor dining spaces, barbeque, a kitchen so well designed and situated we were all wanting to make coffee, breakfast and dinner. We stayed in Sonoma at this sweet and relaxing retreat for a week, and it went by too fast. Thank you, Mark, for your hospitality and welcome.

Unexpected Christmas Trip

Well, after a disastrous remodel at our home, or insurance company paid for us to rent a home for Christmas. Trying to find a home a week before Christmas had its challenges. This place was available. Mark was very sweet. He felt our pain and let us check in early. His directions were very thorough. He checked in on us upon arrival. My daughters were able to enjoy Christmas with a pool! I would definitely stay at this house again!

Peaceful and adorable home in Sonoma

We loved our stay at this home in Sonoma. We were traveling with two under two and four adults. There were many supplies for small children, including an ergobaby carrier, swing, portacribs. We actually used the extra rollaway mattresses as beds for the kids because the youngest is used to a floor bed. It worked very well. The outdoor space is so lovely especially in the evening. The house is walking distance to town, but we didn't feel comfortable walking with a stroller on the road the house is off of. After that there is sidewalks. If we were without young children it would have been walkable. The property managers were so helpful in giving recommendations (including family friendly ones!). I would definitely stay here again with kids if I were in the area. Thank you!

Great for a weekend event

The property feels freshly redone. The outside area is spacious and sunny. We didn’t use the pool because it was too cold but it would be lovely for a hot day. Beds were comfortable enough although pillows could be refreshed. Mattresses on bunk beds are very thin but totally fine for kids. I think adults might be less comfortable. Linens all felt new, including fluffy white towels. Shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower was a nice touch. Although there’s only one bathroom, if that’s tolerable this is a great spot for up to 6 people. The layout feels spacious and comfortable. The property owner/manager was friendly and responsive and we appreciated the later than average checkout even though we didn’t need it. The neighborhood is fine with some really good food nearby. A few notes to keep in mind - not bad but heads up: this property is nicely redone as are the other properties next to it. Across the narrow dirt road, however, are much more modest and less well kept houses and yards. It doesn’t feel unsafe in any way, but the neighborhood vibe is not super welcoming. Again, nothing bad, just a feeling. The street where you have to turn off the main road to get to the house looks more like a dirt driveway and the sign was completely obscured by tall grasses, so it’s easy to miss. I’d suggest owners clear away the grasses. All in all, I’d recommend this property and owners are great, which always makes a difference.

Friends' get-away

Joined two friends for a special bday weekend celebration in Sonoma. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable - and conveniently located to great restaurants, wineries, hiking trails. We especially enjoyed hanging out in the back yard.

Great Return Stay

This was our second time at this property and it was just as wonderful as the first. Everything is always clean, check-in and communication are easy, and the property is a really lovely spot for a family getaway. We'll definitely return yet again.

Perfect wine country getaway (super kid-friendly!)

We stayed 7 nights with our toddler and had an absolute blast. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing; the cottage had literally everything. You can’t beat the location, the pool, the plentiful supplies for babies and kids, the bikes, etc. We communicated with Mark throughout our stay here and there for help with a few things and he was super responsive, kind, and generous. The best rental property we’ve ever had, hands down.
