Rentals are Saturday to Saturday.
5 bedrooms 4 bathrooms on a lake with a private community pool. In a well established family friendly neighborhood. Easy walk to beach. Situated in the middle of beautiful live Oaks, lake in the back yard with total privacy. The wild life is amazing .Bike path is right around corner goes from Pawleys Island to Murrells inlet thru Huntington State Park. 2 minutes to Brook Green Gardens and Huntington State Park. 10 Golf courses within 5 miles. The most beautiful beach is less then a 5 min walk.
We are not a typical rental. We only rent a few weeks per summer. Linens are not included, you may bring your own or we can recommend a local service (very reasonable).

Rogers Family Vacation

The Sea Urchin beach house is a very clean and spacious property. The grandchildren and children really like to stay at this house. The large front and back porches offer a relaxing place for a morning cup of coffee. The large oak trees in the yard give you lots of shade. This was our second time staying at the Sea Urchin and hopefully not the last.

Fantastic beach home

Everything was wonderful! Layout of the house is great for a group. The house has everything you need. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and had more than enough room. Shane was very responsive for anything. We rented a golf cart which was great but you can definitely drive your car to the beach access points and park there if you don’t mind sand getting in it. Would definitely rent again!

Wonderful stay!

We had a great trip! This property was wonderful for our group from 2-73. Has great porches on the front and back. The house was very clean and organized. Well kept and updated. Great communication with the owner. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook. Easy walk to the beach. My kids loved going to look at the turtles (and alligator one day) every morning on our walk to the beach. There was also easy parking at the beach lot that we used. Bike path was easy to get to and we enjoyed having the pool as an option. We will be back!

Family Beach Trip with Adult Children

We had a fabulous stay at Sea Urchins with our 5 adult children (plus first grandchild on the way!). The house was immaculate and lovely. Each couple had a king-sized bed, and the singles had their own rooms. 2 separate living areas with televisions, a beautiful screened-in porch, and rockers on the front porch made for plenty of room to spread out when we wanted. There was also a large dining table (8 chairs) that was perfect for meals and games. The bonus was the shower room on the basement floor - perfect for rinsing off with warm water after a day at the beach. We rented a golf cart, which made it quick and easy to zip to the beach or the pool. The neighborhood is lovely. You feel like you've been transported to a resort far away from the busy world. We would absolutely make a return trip.

Family Beach Vacation

We had a great stay at Shane and Julies beautiful home. It was in a beautiful neighborhood and extremely clean inside and out. We loved the beautifully furnished screened in porch for game playing and grilling. The new Weber grill was fantastic and the views of the lake from the back porch beautiful. The inside was beautifully decorated and spacious with plenty of room for 2 families. We loved the new bathrooms as well which were beautiful and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for family dinner preparation. Shane was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect! It was a short walk to the beach on the beach path where we saw many turtles. It was also great to have bikes for a ride through Huntington park. Thanks again Shane for a great stay and your hospitality.

Pawleys Island Getaway

House is very large and comfortable. Close to everything needed. Quiet neighborhood. Pool is a short distance down the street and beach is a quick golf cart ride away. Our only issue is with the pond in the back there are quite a few mosquitoes…. Bring your bug spray.

Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful. Home is large enough to gather with plent room to retreat for quiet time alone from the group. Conviently located between the beach and the pool. We especially enjoyed the front potch, nice way to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Lovely Live Oaks

Beautiful house in nice quiet neighbor. Family of 12 and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. Nice grill for cooking out. Short walk to the beach or pool but we rented a golf cart and the kids loved. Well furnished with all the amenities you need. Would definitely stay there again!

Spacious Beach House

We were a group or 12...ages 80-13. Loved the open floor plan which is very accommodating for a large group. The screened in porch in the rear overlooking the lake is perfect for relaxing morning coffee. The house has all the amenities to make beach week relaxing and comfortable. We did rent a golf cart, but walking to the beach is an easy stroll and beautiful via the bridge! Weather cooperated and we had a perfect family beach getaway!

Great Home Away from Home

This Rental Home was beautiful and came fully stocked with everything needed! Everything worked and we had no maintenance problems. The home is located on a quiet residential street with a community pool a 2 minute walk! The pool was never crowded and most times my family were the only occupants. The beach was close, about a 5 minute walk. We rented a golf cart which made it even more enjoyable! We have been renting in the area for over 35 years and this is one of the nicest rentals ever!

Incredible Stay at Sea Urchin

We took our family of 12 to Pawley's Island for a one week stay and Sea Urchin was the perfect home for us! The home is beautiful, there is tons of space so we did not feel like we were on top of each other and the location could not have been better! We will absolutely be returning!

This is our 3rd stay at Sea Urchin and each time has been as enjoyable as the last. This is the perfect house and beach location for our family and the O’Briens are gracious hosts.

Family vacation

Very nice comfortable house. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and we had enough space for everyone to be comfortable. We really enjoyed the front and back porches. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked a number of meals. Walk to beach and pool was very easy. We rented a golf cart which made it easier to take our stuff to the pool and beach. Would love to stay here again.

Wonderful, roomy house!

We loved our time at Sea Urchins. The screened porch and adjacent deck overlooking the pond was fantastic for viewing wildlife including a big alligator, blue herons and more. Loved the huge well equipped kitchen also.

Loved our week at the house

Our family really enjoyed the house. Perfectly described. We had never rented a place and Shane was so nice and easy to deal with. We even got to see the gator in the water behind the house.

Great Week at Sea Urchins

Our family had a wonderful week together. The house had plenty of room for our 3 adult children & their families. We enjoyed the nice pool. The beach was close enough to walk to and not crowded. Walks on the beach & around the neighborhood were just what we needed. This was one of the nicest houses we've stayed in & one of our best vacations. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We had a great time at the sea urchin! I would recommend! Is as advertised.

We had a great time! Beautiful home and community. Well equipped kitchen, new appliances, new washer and dryer. Shower area inside from garage perfect for coming back from the beach. Short walk to beach approx 5-7 minutes. Or quick drive to parking. Very quick walk to community pool. Worked out perfect for our family of 12. (8 adults 4 children ages 13 - 3.) Each couple had their own bedroom. Two oldest kids had the twin bedroom. Two littler ones ended up sleeping in parents rooms. But could have slept in pull out couch upstsirs. Plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys. Only negative was the Wi-Fi was spotty. But really vacations should be unplugged. Made great memories with our children and grandchildren! Would recommend the Quigley pints and plate restaurant. Lots of cute shopping areas. Vey close to murrell's inlet. Myrtle beach is not far for a day at the boardwalk or broadway. Many thanks to the O'brians!

LOVED THIS HOUSE!!!

Sea Urchins is a beautiful home with close proximity to the beach, pool, shopping, and restaurants. The house is well equipped and includes all the comforts of home. The owners were extremely accommodating and quick to respond to questions/requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to return soon.

It couldn't have been more perfect!

This property was even better than expected. It is larger than it appears in the photos and laid out just perfectly for multiple families. This was our first ever sibling vacation, merging 4 families in one place. The way the house is set up worked perfectly for us. It allowed for time spent together as well as giving everyone enough space to get some time alone. The Owners could not have been easier to communicate with and were very responsive when we needed anything. We look forward to visiting again and enjoying this great property.

Great stay

Perfect house for a family with children. Location of a pool to use along wwith the proximity of the ocean was ideal for our stay. The main floor is the sseller as it's a great gathering spot for everyone. Only suggestions would be to update the carpets or have them cleaned as they were stained and old. Thanks for a great stay.

We have been visiting SC for 20 years, our parents moved here over tens years ago and we decided it was time to own our own piece of the Carolinas.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We love to go to the beach, ride bikes to Huntington State Park and walk the beautiful gardens at Brook Green. Our family is very athletic we enjoy surfing, kayaking, golf, tennis and running. Compared to New England the water is warm year round for swimming with an average temperature of 69 degrees.

Also we enjoy everything the surrounding area has to offer shopping , attractions and amazing restaurants. Five minutes away is Murrells Inlet, South Carolina's Seafood capital.
We also enjoy just relaxing in the beauty that surrounds this property. Its great to just sit out back on the deck and read a book.
