The Atlanta Cottage is a very special place dedicated to all things ATLANTA! Located about 10 min from downtown, airport, Mercedes Benz Stadium and just about everything else, this gorgeous cottage is nestled in the central, historic Jefferson Park. If you want to relax in total comfort while being immersed in artifacts, books, photos and original art focused on many slices of Atlanta life, then this is the place for you! 

Delve into Atlanta’s history, businesses, food, entertainment, universities and much more! Each room in this 1940's home is specially designed for your comfort and security. The theme of the home is ATLANTA! So, take your time and discover all of the treasures contained in this lovely cottage. Are you interested in perusing Atlanta’s rich history, entertainment, colleges and universities, businesses, cuisine, custom art and photography by local artists, vintage artifacts and more? Then this is place for you! 

Guests are welcomed to self check in using our smart lock technology. Additionally, you will have an alarm code unique to you, equipped with exterior security cameras and motion flood lights for your safety and comfort. Guests can enjoy a large, private backyard complete with a lovely patio perfect for that outdoor bite to eat! The Atlanta Cottage is actually 4 bedrooms but we’ve opted to make one of them a third lounging space for added comfort!

NEIGHBORHOOD: Just to the south of Atlanta is a quiet, historic neighborhood flowing with vitality and creative personality. Less than 10 minutes away from downtown Atlanta, Jefferson Park was developed as a neighborhood in the late 1920’s–when East Point, GA was a far-flung suburb of Atlanta. The neighborhood soon began to grow and more people were drawn to its tranquil, location. Today it contains everything from clapboard 1920’s homes & charming brick bungalows from the 1940’s and 50’s to 60’s ranches, which portray a contemporary-vintage feel. Residents work continuously to restore and beautify the neighborhood and lovely It contains approximately 1100 homes, three churches, two parks, plenty of back yard chickens, and a large arts magnet school. Many of our residents were born and raised here and can share fascinating historical stories of old sites, seeing shows at the old theater, unique architecture of some of the homes, and the old downtown East Point. Those natives now share this “Mayberry” with folks from all over who have been drawn to this community. 

We enjoy our geographic location near the city and the airport, the convenient MARTA station with ample, free parking, and the easy access to highways I-85/75, I-20 and HWY-166. We love the historic homes that are being restored to their original beauty by caring homeowners, showing off our gardens, walking our dogs, sharing tools and efforts, and generally lending a hand. Above all it is the people that really make this a truly unique and special neighborhood. Minutes from all interstates that run through Atlanta. On the MARTA bus line, The Atlanta Cottage is centrally located and only a few minutes from the most vibrant aspects of Atlanta!
