This cozy and fun 2-bedroom, 2-bath canal-front home gives you the best of both worlds—just 12 houses from the main Weeki Wachee River and minutes to the Gulf of Mexico. It’s close enough to the action for paddling and boating, yet peaceful enough to truly unwind.

Inside, enjoy 1,120 sq. ft. of comfortable living space with a splash of coastal style. Whether you`re enjoying morning coffee or winding down after a day on the water, the home is designed for easy living.

Outside is where the magic happens:
• Spacious waterfront yard made for play and relaxation
• Roast s’mores or sip wine by the fire pit
• Plenty of room to lounge, dine, or just soak in the breeze

Found this gem that was in a gorgeous location, pet friendly and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Host was excellent in responding. Very clean and well maintained. Looking forward to going back to visit!

Our stay at Paddlers Cove was more than wonderful. From the great communication and customer service from Dave and Kelly, to the cleanliness and location of the property, we give it a 10/10. We have stayed at a few vacation rentals in Weeki Wachee and this one was by far the cleanest and had the nicest water toys to use. Fully stocked, we did not need a thing while on the trip. We will most definitely be staying here again on our next trip!

Dreamy Family Vacation

From the spacious accommodations to the thoughtful little details, this home was the perfect getaway for our family. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the waterside fire pit, played a marathon game of Monopoly, and took advantage of the kayaks and stand up boards. Can’t imagine anything more perfect!

Wonderful Weeki Stay

My family had an amazing midweek trip to the adorable Florida town Weeki Wachee. This rental was perfect for our family of 5. It had all we needed and more (kayaks, paddle boards, floating dock with swim mat). We even brought our dog who enjoyed the fenced in yard and dock. We were able to see the manatees from the backyard, enjoyed roasting marshmellows around the firepit, grilling out on the back porch, and it was a perfect location to the hospital hole and rogers park. Do yourself a favor and book this place!

Our stay at this beautiful home on the Weeki Wachee River was absolutely perfect! The location couldn't have been better - peaceful, scenic, and right on the crystal-clear river, making it easy to enjoy kayaking, swimming, and relaxing by the water every day.The home itself was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for an stress-free stay. One of the best parts was how truly dog-friendly it was. Our pups felt just as welcome as we did, and having a place where we could all relax together made the trip even more special.Seeing manatees right from the property was unforgettable and made the experience feel truly unique. Evenings by the fire were beautiful and relaxing. The hosts clearly care about their guests and have created a warm, welcoming space that feels like a home away from home.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on the Weeki Wachee River - especially if you're traveling with your furry family members!

Overall very pretty house in a nice location. Kayaks were nice. House was very clean on arrival. Good parking for 3 trucks and a boat trailer. Overall reservation making, payments, and communication was a bit difficult as sometimes owner would communicate via text and other times via Vrbo. Within Vrbo there were 2 email chains going. Became confusing when it came to communicating. Dishwasher was non-functional so had to go purchase paper plates/cups/bowls and plastic silverware since we had 8 people and didn’t want to hand wash dishes all day. I feel like they could have offered me a credit for the fact that I had to go out and purchase all the paper products separately. Also, although the house itself was nice, it is more like a 6 person max and not an 8 person max. Impossible to sleep 4 in that one room with two trundle beds as there wasn’t enough room to have both beds out at the same time. Again, overall it was nice but a bit packed and ate off of paper for the stay that I had to pay for.

Since your reservation and pet fee were processed through separate VRBO transactions, it unfortunately created multiple message threads within the platform. We’ve continued refining our communication process and have found that text messaging often provides a more reliable way to ensure important updates are received promptly. Regarding the dishwasher, we notified your group prior to arrival that it was temporarily out of service so you could make an informed decision before your stay. We understand the inconvenience this caused and appreciate your patience while we worked through the issue. As for the sleeping arrangements, the home is configured to accommodate up to eight guests, and many families and groups have comfortably enjoyed the layout. We recognize that every group’s preferences and sleeping arrangements are different, and we appreciate your perspective. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience. We wish you all the best in your future travels.

We spent 3 blissful days and nights in Paddlers Cove and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The location is amazing, the house beautifully updated and spotless, and the hosts thought of everything. EVERY thing. We spent most of our time outside paddling (paddleboards AND kayaks for all, including child size kayaks), fishing, and spending time by the fire pit and on the porch - and saw dolphins a couple times. We loved having such a quiet spot and really felt like we were away from everything - yet only 13 minutes from Walmart to grab something we needed. We cooked every meal but one in the house, and found the kitchen to be fully equipped for all our culinary adventures. We enjoyed paddling to Upper Deck for our one meal out, which was such a fun way to go. We had the best time staying here, and look forward to a return visit! If you’re looking to get away, spend time in nature, and just RELAX, we couldn’t recommend Paddlers Cove more.

Great home with a great location in Weeki Wachee! We came for 4 nights to celebrate the end of summer and were very pleased with everything. The hosts were very attentive and easy to get in touch with. Everything was clean, stocked and welcoming. I am an overly prepared person and they had pretty much everything I never see in rentals. Several box fans for the porch, everything for paddle adventures, extension cords, gas grill, lighters, etc. The water behind the house isn't crystal clear but its safe and fun for the kids to swim and play on the kayaks. Its clear enough to see all the fish, several manatees including a newborn baby and even a couple of dolphins. We did the 10 minute paddle up to Rogers park which was a great place to swim and play in the sand. Highly recommend the property and the hosts. We will be back!

Great house and hosts. Well stocked with everything you need. Nice location on the river. We enjoyed sitting on the upper patio and watching the manatees in the canal. About 2ish miles up the river and close to gulf access. Thanks for a great stay!
