Enjoy this simple, comfortable, and vintage Folly cottage. Built in 1945, it is one of the few original homes to the island.

Park your car and break out the flip-flops! The Sun Love Cottage is just a short walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to Center Street, which is packed with great restaurants, bars, and shopping. All things fun - the River Park, Bert's grocery, coffee shop and so much more are a short walk away.

A spacious 3 bedrooms and 2 baths that sleeps 6.
Note that all 3 bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are steep.
*Parental discretion advised*

Bring your boat, your dog and your flip flops. Come enjoy a wonderful vacation in this comfortable vintage cottage. Experience the beauty and magic of this low-country barrier island.

*The Studio adjacent to the Cottage is reserved and occupied by the owner, along with 2 parking spaces to the left of the Cottage. Your privacy is assured, but the owner is happy to answer questions and give suggestions.

Host is amazing!! The house is perfect. We did cook a full Thanksgiving meal, GREAT kitchen, had everything we needed. Easy walk to Bert's. The main street, the beach, just the best location. Did puzzles, played Rummikub, great back yard and very comphy bedrooms. Loved the downstairs shower for Grampa and has an excellent laundry :)

Charming cottage

We had a great stay with our teens and our pups. Cute little cottage with a great screened porch and fenced in yard. An easy walk to the beach, and close to shops and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Folly Beach original gem

Location, charm, and the owner all the reasons we loved this VRBO Folly beach classic gem. The older house was well decorated, stocked and kept up and had amenities that made our trip most enjoyable! Only a few blocks from the beach and the main restaurant area on Folly, but far enough away to not be in the hustle of it. Perfect location. We rarely used our car all week. Walk to it all! Most importantly, the owner was incredibly accommodating and made sure our trip was enjoyable and was responsive to any needs that came up during our stay. We will be back!

Great location. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. The cottage is comfortable with plenty of seating both inside and on the screened in back porch. Bedrooms worked well for 4 adults and 2 kids.

Family fun

Sun Love Cottage was the perfect setting for our vacation. The beach access road is across the street and the cottage was well equipped. Jackie was the perfect host. Attentive but not intrusive. Would recommend walking down to see the Morris Island lighthouse in the evening to see the beautiful sunset.

Sun love cottage

Everything went smoothly and location was good. Jackie gave us information that helped so much. If you want an easier walk to the beach go to the access from the roadway rather than the paths. House was well equipped.

Excellent Stay

Thanks to the generousity of Jackie and Donna, our trip ended up better then we imagined! My husband and I stayed in the studio attached to the house. The studio was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed! The studio was within walking distance to the beach and to all the shops and restaurants but far enough to have some peace and quiet at the end of the day. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Folly!

Fun time at SunLove Beach Cottage!

We had a a great time at Folly Beach. SunLove is in the perfect location. We were close to the beach but not on a busy road. We were walking distance from the shops & restaurants on the main road and their was a little grocery store nearby. Our dogs appreciated the fenced yard and we spent a lot of time on the screened back porch. The cottage had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. Thanks Donna!

Comfortable house in a peaceful and convenient location

We loved our stay here! We walked everywhere and especially loved being able to bring our dogs on vacation with us. The fenced yard was great! We used the screened porches every day to enjoy our coffee in the morning and have drinks in the evening. We didn't cook because it was hot and because there were so many good restaurants within walking distance. The air conditioning was super cold and felt great after long hot days at the beach. The beds were comfy and the location was quiet. Can't wait to go back.

Just what we were looking for

Everything was fine, we had everything we needed and enjoyed the back screened in porch and fenced in backyard for the dog. Just a short walk to the pier. The area the house was in was very quiet and relaxing. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the single bed(s) in one of the bedrooms, they are not very comfy for a full grown person, we ended up having one person sleep on the couch instead.

Perfect Getaway

The cottage was the perfect getaway for four of us, along with our 3 month old baby. It was an easy walking distance to both the beach and center street where all the shops and restaurants are located. In addition to the great location, it is a great house in perfect condition with everything you need, plus enough space for the 4.5 of us to spread out comfortably. Our little dog, Kona, loved being able to roam the house and the fenced in back yard too as we lounged on the covered back porch! It has everything you and your furry friend need to have the perfect Folly vacation. We would definitely stay here again in a return trip to Folly!

Charming Home! Great place for a week of relaxation

I truly loved staying at the Sunlove Beach Cottage in June. Folly Beach is one of my favorite places to visit and I was not disappointed in this delightful home. I stayed with my two young daughters for the week and had a couple of family members visit from NY on their way to Florida. They intended to stay one night and it turned into three because we enjoyed it so much. The house is quaint and lovely. Very clean and still holds the eclectic charm that appeals to me so much. It was great for the my daughters with it being so close to the beach. I highly recommend this home to anyone who visits!

Wonderful sunny stay!

An adorable and comfortable stay for my family and I! Great back yard and screened in porch made for relaxing and fun for both us and our pups! Jackie is incredibly friendly and helpful; if she came and went in her studio at all during our stay we never even knew. The house is right across the street from public beach access which made for a quick and lovely walk to the beach. Center Street and everything else Folly has to offer was only a short walk away including Bert’s for a quick grab of anything needed of some yummy beach snacks! Wished we never had to leave; Sun Love Cottage is everything Folly and we definitely recommend it and Jackie!

The people here are kind and humble; courteous and respectful. We want you to go first.
