The Space:

Casa de Sueños: This has been my family home since 2005. The home has undergone numerous renovations over the years the last one being in 2020 to the present. There is a whole house generator which runs the entire house and could run for days given enough propane.



This home is heated and air conditioned by a multi level pair of 2.5 ton newer upper and lower level AC systems with ultraviolet light on the return, ceiling fans, and a whole house suction fan at the top of the stairs. This allows you to evacuate all the air or open windows and draw air with a fan for rapid cooling. There is a wood burning fireplace and we will have firewood on hand for your stay in the fall and winter. I also use a .003 micron air purifier to enhance the air quality. You will spending 1/3 of the time in one of the beds and so that is why I carefully selected from the best mattresses on the market. I believe you will get a great night sleep. The owner bedroom upstairs has a king-sized Puffy Hybrid Deluxe and it is heavenly. One of the other bedrooms has a Queen Nectar. You'll hopefully see the whole diaspora of wildlife while you are here--birds, wood ducks, deer, beaver, and even otters! There also could be a gator, snake or lizard so please don't let your kids and pets run off alone.



We have a Rinnai hot water system which means you can use all the hot water need and adjust the temperature. We use satellite internet here and is about 70 mps download and 6 mps upload speed. When a storm rolls in there will be intermittent disruptions. You may get buffering now and then particularly during intense cloud cover. I have had a chance to test the buffering by streaming on all 5 televisions on a clear day, my laptop and phone and did not experience any buffer issues. These are smart TV's so you should use your logins and remember to sign out of them before you leave. You can also cast content from your phone to a TV of your choice. The kitchen has just about every imaginable utensil or dish you might need for everyday use, plastic by the pool and silver rimmed China for a special event. The refrigerator is a '20 Cafe Deluxe-Bake a cake or eat a lobster-grill, steam or fry. Air-Fry or BBQ on the grill. Just bring the food and special spices. Plan a gathering and take lots of pictures!

The Neighborhood:

This is Exurbia. The border line between rural and urban fringe. We are only 4 miles from Publix and Bannerman crossings, 15 minutes to a hospital down Centerville Road, can drive to Georgia and Thomasville on a dirt road that crosses the state line--walk a paved 5K across the street alongside Centerville and Pisgah Church. It is very quiet here.
