Popham Beachfront And Oceanfront Cottage with Water and Beach Views

We appreciate the fine review however readers might be a little confused by the comment that the cottage is “nearby“ Popham Beach. The cottage is actually “on“ Popham Beach which is directly in front of the front lawn as shown in the pictures. Sent from my iPhone

We were pleased to hear the comment that the location of the cottage directly adjacent to the beach and the interior layout of the cottage with its expansive views worked well for the three disabled guests. The cottage being all on one floor and with a handicap ramp probably helped. We hope they also watched the seals who show up in abundance for their meals directly in front of the cottage. Our policy concerning the supply of sheets and towels has been in place for years. A statement about this is included in the documents reviewed before the inquiry is first submitted and again in a document sent to the guest after acceptance of the reservation. Apparently this guest did not remember these. Our policy on the supply of sheets and towels is based on two issues. First, it is logistically difficult to handle this amount of laundry at Popham during a short turnaround and second, we believe that when people use their own sheets they get the type and quality they expect. Since this guest actually brought enough sheets to satisfy her requirements, we can still say that we have never had a problem with people not showing up with sheets. But if that had occurred, we have provisions in place to immediately resolve it. We should also note that when people need to travel long distances to get to the cottage and especially requiring airline flights, we have the capability to furnish sheets and towels because it would be logistically difficult for the guest to bring their own.
