Thoughtfully designed and full of character, this cozy yet spacious retreat offers the perfect mix of comfort, style, and convenience. Located just steps from the tranquil Gearhart Dunes and beach, with views of the Pacific Ocean, it’s the kind of place you can truly relax and make your own.

With a generous, open floor plan, plenty of bedrooms, and thoughtful touches throughout, this home is made for gathering and making memories. The large picture windows flood the house with light, highlighting the classic beadboard walls and adding to the cheerful, beachy vibe. Just what we needed! The location was perfect, and Christine and Gary were so friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. This beautiful and cozy beach cabin turned out to be an ideal spot for our group to relax and enjoy!

Nice house and location, but the cleanliness of the house left much to be desired. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to get to. Bit of a walk to the beach if that is what you are looking for.

Wonderful place for a family

We enjoyed this property so much for our family reunion weekend. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 kids. House was clean, well equipped, and communication was great. Gearhart is a lovely little town. Would definitely stay again!

2024 Thanksgiving Stay in Gearhart

We had a delightful stay in Gearhart over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was quaint, lovely and accommodating with full amenities and the location had nearby easy beach access and was within walking distance to shopping and eateries. We will definitely return.

GEARHART BEACH WEEKEND

Lovely, cozy beach get away

This home is cozy and charming, with plenty of room for all your guests to sleep comfortably, relax by the wood burning fireplace or play games/share a meal at the large dining table. Large kitchen with everything you would need for cooking meals. The host was just amazing and very responsive. The location can't be beat as it's within easy walking distance to the beach as well as the quaint village with shops and small grocery. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing weekend

The Gearhart Beach house was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful neighborhood, a nice walk to the sand, a well-stocked house, and elk! The owners were very responsive when we had a question and the house was very comfortable just to lounge around in front of the fire. Cute town with an amazing bakery. Good house for a girls weekend.

Another wonderful summer vacation at Gearhart

This house feels like home now, after 4 years visiting. Very close to the beach, and good for beach walks, as well as neighborhood walks. Very comfy gathering spaces, functional kitchen. Thanks for the new bunk beds! Nice backyard porch for outdoor meals, and good BBQ.

Always a Pleasure

We've stayed at this residence before and, it was because of those stays we chose this property to host our family; we knew they would enjoy it as much as we have. They were very happy with the neighborhood, the proximity to the ocean, the nearby amenities (Pacific Way Bakery - a must) and most importantly, the comfort of the house and the way it's stocked to entertain. You can't go wrong staying here, comfort all of the way!

The house was very comfortable and very close to the beach and coffee shop. The mattresses were noisy, harder than we are used to, and the shower in the master bath is not usable because if water gets on the floor it runs out the kitchen ceiling leaving one shower for five adults. Putting the shower curtain inside the tub was not adequate to prevent the water problem. The yard was beautiful and the house was very charming. The owners were very responsive when we called and obviously love their property.

Beautiful Home

This home is spacious and beautiful. Many windows and tastefully decorated. The location is perfect as it is right on the path to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had grandparents, parents, big & little kids and everyone had a great time. The house is well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The shower is large and allows for a parent to easily clean the little kids! A perfect vacation spot!

Perfect location in charming Gearhart

This was our group's second stay at this property and it did not disappoint again. The location couldn't be better, right at the beach with a walking path adjacent to the property. The house is very clean and wonderfully well maintained. The kitchen has ample cookware, good appliances and enough dishes for cooking for a larger group. The common rooms are spacious and open (there are lots of windows, so great light) and the bedrooms are comfortable with many options for sleeping configurations. We've had nothing but lovely interactions with the owners who are responsive and gracious. I almost hate to say such nice things since it'll mean never being able to stay there again since it'll always be booked.

Delightful beach house vacation in Gearhart

Our family found this house in Gearhart to be perfect for our week long vacation. It was spotless, was supplied with every single thing we needed (thanks for the beach towels, sand toys and chairs), and had tons of space, both inside and out. The back deck and private yard provided a quiet space to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Best of all was the easy access to Gearhart's incredible beach - so different from the crowds in the more touristy towns. The water was really cold, but the little ones didn't care and we spent hours down there. And to add to the fun, we watched a herd of elk munching on the beach grass as we walked down the path! Christine answered my questions immediately and was a joy to work with. I hope we can come back!

Gearhart family vacation

The house is very suitable for family gathering. However, it wasn't as close to the beach as described. The bathtub in the master is a clawfoot tub and surrounded by a plastic shower curtain that has mold on the bottom of it. It advertised taking a bath in the tub, but the tub was very old and the curtain was not able to be moved easily. The shower in the extra bath upstairs worked fine, but slightly disappointed with the master shower. Overall a great place to stay - just not as easy of access to the beach as we had hoped and is much farther than the pictures show.

Mid-October Oregon Coast 2022

Wonderful two-story home - four bedrooms & three baths. Very large kitchen and a wonderful great room with separate space for tv viewing; a dining room table that easily seats eight; and a separate seating area adjacent to the fireplace - a wonderful space for group conversation or completing a puzzle. Our second time here - grandparents plus family of five. Communication with owner was excellent. A short walk to McMenamins Restaurant. A short drive to Astoria, Seaside or Cannon Beach.
