Brimfield Bungalow by the lake close to Sturbridge

Escape to this charming country cottage cottage, perfectly nestled in the peaceful town of Brimfield. Just a short drive from downtown, our beautifully decorated home offers a serene retreat with access to Sherman Lake. Featuring two comfortable bedrooms, this cozy retreat is close to Sturbridge for easy access to restaurant row as well as the many breweries and wineries in the area. Enjoy the many walking trails and/ or the one and only Brimfield Antique Show/Flea Market just minutes away.
This cozy retreat offers heating, WiFi, AC, and more for your convenience. Relax in the serene surroundings and enjoy a peaceful stay. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in the Brimfield area. There are 2 bedrooms, one is on the main level and one upstairs. There is one full bathroom with a tub/shower. This is a year round home with heat and central air. There are a few steps down to the home and to the sunken living room. 1 bedroom on 1st fl one on 2nd. waterfront access is shared for boats or kayaks etc. Please note jets on the tub are not functional. It's a soaking tub not jacuzzi.

Gwen has such a lovely, cute and well maintained property. Great host with excellent and prompt communication. We had a wonderful time staying in with three generations and a senior dog - kitchen is well appointed and this was perfect for our little get-away.

Our stay in Brimfield was outstanding. The instructions we received a few days in advance made it very easy to access the cottage. The guide inside the cottage was helpful in telling us what was expected and provided information about the local area. The cottage was well equipped, comfortable and met our needs for the stay. Gwen was very responsive to any request. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.

We had such a lovely stay here! We arrived to warm lighting, relaxing music, and everything as it should be. Gwen went out of her way to make sure the little details were covered, and we truly felt at home here. She was also very helpful and responsive throughout the process. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Gwen was so easy to communicate with and made the check in/out process very convenient. The cottage is in a great location and is just a short drive to attractions in the area including Old Sturbridge Village. We had a lovely time and would definitely return again. Brimfield bungalow was the perfect place for my husband and I to unwind between two different weddings in the area. Everything was soft, cozy, and inviting. We really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and seeing the wildlife.

The property was very nice. Because of our age and my husbands mobility issues, navigating stairs were somewhat problematic. The house was clean and when we arrived, the outside lights were on which was very much appreciated. Access into the house was easy. The location was very close to our venue.

Exactly what I needed

I booked this property for two nights. It was extremely clean, well lit and Gwen had some relaxing music on when I arrived. Absolutely beautiful and perfect as I had just had 2 plus hrs of traffic to get there.The kitchen is just perfect for the space allowed. Bedrooms (2) also just right. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. I really liked the small details such as : hair dryer, small bar soaps, bath soaps/salts, lots of tools for the kitchen, blankets and pillows that were clean, smelled great, fridge was clean, range was clean, silverware clean etc. Electrical features were all on a smart system and easy to use. The property was super clean and just right for a quiet stay. ParkingAll in all it was comfortable and cozy and Gwen was an excellent host who sent check-in info when asked as well as recommended places to get provisions and a meal. Thx so much Gwen. I’ll be back at the next Motorsport event!

Perfect little getaway

This property is beautiful. Located by a little lake and quite secluded for the area. The property owner is very easy to communicate with and the house was very clean and quaint. When we arrived in the dark, the lights and heat were on which made it very easy to find and inviting. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever back in the area.

Special place

So glad we found this lovely cottage! Great location for Sturbridge to Springfield events and activities yet very quiet. We were in area for flea market and to visit family. Two couples or a multi generational family would be comfortable here. Very clean and well stocked with the items you would need for your stay. Beds are very comfortable, a bedroom on 1st fl is a plus. Decorated beautifully yet feels very comfortable. Host is very responsive and clearly wants every quest to have a wonderful stay. We come to this area several times a year and will look forward to returning to this cottage.
