Welcome to our beautiful log home, where breathtaking mountain views, family fun, and relaxation come together for an unforgettable getaway.

Located just 30 minutes from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and only 5 minutes from I-75, this spacious home offers the perfect balance of peaceful mountain scenery and convenient access to area attractions.

Although we're not located on Lookout Mountain, we certainly look out over mountains! Enjoy miles of beautiful scenery from the porch, sip your morning coffee, unwind in the hot tub, take a dip in the seasonal swimming pool, or gather around the fire pit with family and friends.

An exciting piece of Hollywood history!

Our home was scouted by Paramount Pictures for the movie Daddy's Home 2, starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell! It was an exciting experience having the production team travel from California to photograph and film our home.

The home features a wheelchair ramp leading to the back deck, providing access to the main living areas, including the primary bedroom, laundry room, living room, dining room, and kitchen.

The primary bathroom includes lowered sinks for accessibility and a shower equipped with a seat.

The upper level also features a comfortable sitting area with a couch, loveseat, and recliner, along with a full bathroom.

Basement Level

River's Edge

- 1 set of twin bunk beds
- 2 daybeds, one with a trundle
- Sleeps up to 5 guests in twin beds

The basement also features the large game room, making this a great area for guests who enjoy entertainment and spending time together.

This property was incredible! Suited our big group so well and had so many wonderful spaces for us to gather in different moments and activities. The hot tub and pool were great, and we really enjoyed the downstairs game room. The property and view is beautiful and the HOSTS WERE AWESOME. Very accommodating and quick with communication. My family, including children and grandchildren, had our annual vacation here. We enjoyed our stay very much. The weather didn't cooperate one day but otherwise the pool was used constantly. I liked being in a place where we didn't have immediate neighbors but we're close enough to stores etc to be convenient. We did several activities in Chattanooga as it was only about a 30 minute drive. The house meet our needs with large enough bedrooms and enough beds. The kitchen had the majority of items needed for cooking as we ate all our meals at the house. If we have our vacation in this area again I will not hesitate to book this property.

The house and setting were beautiful and it was big enough for our families to have their own spaces while still being together. The game room and pool were big hits with all ages. There were lots of towels and bedding, and the washer and dryer made it easy to keep up with laundry. It was for the most part clean but there was dust in the corners, cobwebs on/under the lampshades and on the blinds, and the blind over the kitchen sink was dusty and dirty. The fridge also hadn't been wiped out before we arrived. Overall, it was a great place to stay but the cleanliness could be improved.

We’re so glad you enjoyed the cabin, the space, game room, and pool, and that everyone was able to have their own space while still enjoying time together. I also really appreciate you sharing your concerns about cleanliness. I want you to know that we take cleanliness and sanitation very seriously. This is a six-bedroom, 3.5-bath cabin, so during our busy season we often have a guest checking out at 10:00 AM and another arriving at 4:00 PM. During that short window, our cleaning team has a tremendous amount to accomplish — including completely turning over the entire home, sanitizing bathrooms and high-touch areas, cleaning the kitchen, vacuuming and mopping, changing all of the bedding, washing comforters and shams, replacing linens and towels, and making sure the home is ready for the next family. Because of the limited turnover time, our priority is always making sure the areas our guests use most are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for their arrival. Deeper-detail items such as dust in corners, blinds, and cobwebs around fixtures are addressed more extensively during our slower periods when we have additional time to work through those areas. That said, we absolutely appreciate you pointing these things out, because it gives us areas to pay closer attention to during our busy season as well. We never want a guest to feel that the home wasn't properly cleaned when they arrive. Thank you again for staying with us and for the kind words about the property. We’re glad your group had a great overall experience, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again!

Host was super communicative and helped address a power outage immediately. Cabin was spacious, clean, and beds were comfy. I would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

Absolutely loved the cabin, the views were amazing. Host was very accommodating. The only negative review is having to do laundry before a 10 am check out. We were in town for our sons wedding and had a very late night before. Would have loved to sleep in a bit, but had to get up early to make sure the beach towels were washed and dried and a load of the bath towels washed. That is the only reason I did not give a five star review.

The cabin is so cozy and spacious. We were there for my son’s wedding, so it was nice coming back to comfort and the kids enjoyed the hot tub.

Lovely home, lots of room for lounging and connecting. The house has many extras that I have not had at other VRBOs, like spices and paper towels. Although the instructions require starting the dishwasher, there was no dishwasher soap. We lost hot water on the first night. The host was easy to reach, but it took several hours to fix, and the upstairs bathroom did not have hot water the entire weekend. The house needs a thorough, deep clean. The superficial level was clean; linens and towels were clean, but there were lots of dust, cobwebs, dead bugs, and bees in several rooms.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed our home!! There is always dishwasher pods under the sink. We leave an entire container not just a few. Also the hot water in the bathroom upstairs is backwards in both shower and sink. It's always been that way since we bought it. There is supposed to be a note on the mirror. Perhaps that was missing! I'm so sorry about that!!

Stay was great but the only issue with the house was the hot tub surface that was under water was covered in some fuzzy algae film, so we did not use that.

Great time together

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while we attending a wedding in Dalton from out of town/state. We enjoyed the clean, fun cabin and had everything we needed.

We know once you see it on here you will have to come and visit us! We have the finest furnishings, fully equipped kitchen, and wonderful custom marble and granite bathrooms. We enjoy the serene surroundings of this home. The peace and quiet is unmatched. Trust me the drive to downtown is nothing! 30 short minutes. Although some attractions on Lookout Mountain may take longer to get to than 30 minutes but it is worth it to stay here!
