JUST GREAT

Staying at Thalassa Mare was really wonderfull. We were just a few meters away from the sea and we could realy relax in the most beautiful garden near the villa's. The owners Yiannis and Aspasia are there to make sure everything is oke and to make you feel at home. They are so kind and helpfull !!!!! The villa is very clean and the interiour is great. We 100% recommendate this villa to everyone. We had a great holiday at Thalassa Mare villa,s in Lefkada. Thank you Yiannis and Aspasia !!! Lovely greatings from Christ, Dorette, Anja en Berry

Sehr schöne, ruhige Anlage, sehr gepflegt, sauber, mit geräumigen Zimmern. Alle drei-vier Tage kam eine nette Reinigungsdame vorbei. Die Gqstgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Das Haus hält, was die Bilder versprechen! :-) Es ist top ausgestattet und extrem sauber. Sehr gepflegte Anlage, in perfekter Lage, direkt am Meer, sehr ruhig gelegen. Aspasia und Yiannis waren die perfekten Gastgeber und gaben uns tolle Tipps. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (inklusive Bäckerei) zu Fuß erreichbar. Idealer Ausgangspunkt um die wunderschöne, grüne Insel zu erkunden. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100 %, unsere zwei Wochen vergingen leider viel zu schnell. Sophie, Andrea und Roland

A villa with a view!

Staying at thalssama mare was a wonderful experience. From the moment we first made contact with Yiannis enquiring about his villa, we knew it was going to be a great holiday. We asked several questions about the villa and Yiannis was most helpful with the answers. On our arrival, he was there to greet us with a very warm welcome. He gave us a great insight into Lefkada informing us of some of the local restaurants and villages to visit. Yiannis has a great command of the English language with a fantastic sense of humour. The villa itself was very comfortable and well equipped. Location wise it was perfect; a car is definitely required and will give you the freedom to explore this beautiful island with some of the most amazing beaches I have ever seen and to also visit Parga and take a trip to Paxos. I would most definitely recommend both Lefkada and Thallasamare.

Peaceful and Relaxing Villas by the sea

This is our second visit to Thalassa Mare Villas and we intend to visit again. The villas and garden are well presented and spotless. The location on the small road by the sea is perfect for a relaxing swim away from the crowds. The owners, Yiannis and Aspasia are there to make sure everything is ok and to pass on their local knowledge, recommending restaurants and beaches so that you have the best time possible. There is a mini market a bakery and 3 very good tavernas within walking distance of the villas which is great if you don't want to drive, or the larger supermarket is just 10 minutes by car. We definitely recommend Thalassa Mare to everyone and already look forward to our next visit.

Excellent location, great people, 5* holiday

For those looking for an ultimate 5 star holiday experience, this is to place to choose in Lefkada! No more crowded hotels, no more fake photos listed by money hungry owners! Both Mr. Chimonas and his wife are very nice people, ready to help you with the best advice you can get about the surroundings, the local food, the best places to visit. Very good location, far from the crowds, yet close to the main touristic attractions. Modern appliances, 5 star cleanliness, 5 star location. Once visited, you'll come back for sure if you intend to spend another vacation in Lefkada!

Best summer ever!

It was our first time to Lefkada and to Thalassa Mare villas. Right away, me and my wife felt so welcomed by the hosts, Yiannis and Aspasia. The place was so cool, amazing garden and great interior. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax, enjoy the sun and the Greek food. Our villa was well equiped - we had everything! - and very clean and loads of space too! What made our stay even better was Yianni's tips on where to go each day - which beach, were to eat or have a drink. Unforgettable summer vacay! We cannot wait to go back this summer!!

Most enjoyable stay, amazing Greek hospitality

Unforgettable holiday in Thalassa Mare!

It was the second time I have stayed in this amazing place with my family and had a great holiday! The friendly and always helpful hosts, Yiannis and Aspasia, have made our stay unforgettable in our lovely villa once again! Super clean, luxurious, elegant and spacious villa, with a colorful garden and literally one step away from the sea. Great location to the island town and to the popular beaches of the island. I definitely recommend this place and I am looking forward going back very soon with my family and our friends!!

Wunderschönes Haus am Meer

Wir waren eine Woche im Thalassa Mare. Die ruhige Lage am Meer und das sehr saubere, gepflegte Haus genossen wir sehr. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und stets bemüht seinen Gästen das Optimum zu bieten. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Auch die Stadt und die Insel Lefkada gibt viel zu entdecken. Wir genossen die schönen Strände die nicht überlaufen waren, wie an anderen Orten. Ein Auto für Ausflüge ist empfehlenswert. Dazwischen genossen wir einen Tag auf dem Sitzplatz im sehr gepflegten Garten. Das nahe Meer und die Gartendusche bieten Abkühlung. Der Liegestuhl und ein Buch - Erholung pur!! Wir werden bei Gelegenheit gerne wiederkommen und können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Gusto, amore e simpatia

Soggiornare a Thalassa Mare è sentirsi sempre a casa. Una casa che Yiannis e sua moglie riempiono con la loro gentilezza e simpatia. Una casa dotata di ogni comfort, pulita, arredata con gusto e attenzione ai dettagli... e questo fa la differenza! La location è meravigliosa, con la veranda che si affaccia su uno splendido giardino fiorito con vista mare. Le onde, il suono di un violino e il canto degli uccellini a cullare il riposo degli ospiti.

Luxuriously Stylish Sea-view Property

This property is just amazing! very stylish, clean and well equipped. The views from the villa are breathtaking and we never got bored of it. The beds are very comfortable complimented with lovely fresh cotton sheets. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly which made our stay at the property very enjoyable. Simply GREAT!

Great Yiannis (homeowner) from beginning to end, great the house and its outfit (like being at home), great the room cleanliness constantly maintained during your stay , great the view in front of the see, great the location with easy access to the beaches recommended by Yiannis on the basis of winds, great the taverns distant few hundred meters, great Lefkada. Poor the time spended in this paradise, we hope to be there again.

Fantastic stay

We stayed one week at Thalassa mare during summer 2016. It was a wonderful stay, the villas were new and luxurious, very nice and clean. The owner yannis is really kind and friendly. There's a wonderful garden and grill, you can take a bath just outside the house, there ' s a really nice taverna just 5 minutes walk from the houses. We hope to come back soon. Annamaria Italy

Beautiful villas in lovely Lefkada

We had a great holiday in Thalassa Mare. The villa was spacious and well-equipped, and perfect for our family of four. We stayed in the villa closest to the sea, with a lovely view of the strait between Lefkada and the mainland. Our two little boys enjoyed playing in the garden and had a great time in Lefkada. It's possible to go for a morning swim right outside the property. Ligia has a nice little harbour with a few restaurants and is a good location for exploring the island, being close to Lefkada town. Yiannis and Aspasia were the perfect hosts - so friendly and helpful. As we arrived late in the evening, Yiannis had provided some essentials in the refrigerator. We have no hesitation in recommending Thalassa Mare, and would love to come back!

LEFKAS: 3.9.15 - 15.09.15 Ruhiges, friedliches Wasser, ideal zum Schwimmen, jederzeit Dann unter die Außendusche im schönen Garten: aahhh Ein kleines Schwätzchen mit Yannis: ebenso erfrischend & belebend Entspannen in einer paradisischen Oase ohne Lärm – mmhh Sonnenaufgang vom Balkon: goldene Stille erhebt sich über die Berge Ein Panorama – wunderschön, man galubt es nicht Sunset auch möglich: 5 km nach Norden fahren – toll (Drachen steigen lassen) Das Haus: Besser als in jedem „Schöner Wohnen“- Katalog Ausstattung und Instandhaltung: Da ist alles gesagt – einfach perfekt. Buchung & Bürokrams: vertrauenswürdig, alls in Ordnung. Moskitos: Überall Fenster- und Türennetze. Für den Notfall hat Yannis auch zusätzliches Equipment. Wieder ein Schwätzchen: Mit unseren netten Thalassamare-Nachbarn aus Sheffield : ) + : ) Jetzt müssen wir aber mal was unternehmen! Gehimtipp: Mit der öffentlichen Fähre + Fahrrädern nach Meganisi fahren: traumhaft, malerisch. Also? Hinfahren!!! Danke liebe Aspasia, lieber Yannis!

Best vacations ever!

It was the first time I visited Greece with my family and we had really high expectations as all our friends kept telling us what a great island Lefkada is. Thankfully reality exceeded our expectations! Upon our arrival at Thalassa Mare villas, me and my family already felt welcomed by Yiannis and Aspasia. Peace, tranquility and relaxation can describe what is offered in those villas. I have never stayed in a place that is so clean and so well equipped. My 2 kids were playing around in this amazing garden while me and my wife could relax looking at the sea view right in front of us! Ideal retreat for perfect vacations! I definitely recommend this place, and I will make sure I return next year with my family and friends.Thank you Yiannis and Aspasia for all your great tips for Greek food delights and not only! Until next year!

Great villa, great location, friendly owners.

Thalassa Mare was the perfect base for our holiday on Lefkada. The villa is perfectly situated for easy access to wonderful beaches and the coastal towns of Lefkada Town, Nidri and Vasiliki. After a day on the beach we would come back to the peace and quiet of the villa with its amazing view of the sea (and take a dip in it just outside the villa to cool down). Yiannis and Aspasia were the perfect hosts helping out with advice on the best beaches and places to eat and we often discussed the plants in their amazing garden, making notes to plant some in our own garden at home. The villa was spotless and we felt relaxed the moment we arrived. Sitting on the patio with a glass of wine in the evening looking out over the sea as the sun went down was just perfect. Our favourite taverna, Seven Islands, was a five minute walk along the coast if we didn't feel like venturing further afield, the food and the service were excellent. We are slightly reluctant to write this review as we want to keep Thalassa Mare a secret so that there is space for us to return next year!

Fantastic!

The island is gorgeous. The location was idyllic - a few metres from the sea and a lovely place to swim; it was very quiet but very near to several places to eat and drink. Also, only fifteen minutes by car to the main town. The apartment was fantastic - spacious, extremely clean and well equipped. Our hosts, Yiannis and Aspasia were absolutely superb; they offered help, advice and friendship too! And the garden! Such a beautiful place - created by an artist and her assistant! We would recommend this holiday to everyone and certainly we will go back again. Thanks Yiannis and Aspasia! Kirk, Suzanne and Esther

Summer to remember

It could easily be explained as best relaxing summer vacation ever. Me and my family decided to rent one the villas for 12 days and get to know the beauties and wonders of island Lefkada. It was not our first time in Greece (but eighth or ninth) and this one could easily be categorised as the best stay in this beautiful country we had till so far. We were hoping for one pleasant, very quiet and low key holidays, which we in the end got. The island itself is beautiful, the property where we stay is so comfortable, clean and beautiful, the host became our friend and his helpful tips and concerns that we have nothing less but a great vacation made our stay in this place only more memorable. We strongly propose this destination for your next holiday stay and let yourself and your family be amazed by the hospitality of the owner, beautiful beaches, amazing accommodation and delicious food.
