A minimum $500 fee may apply if evidence of smoking is found. Additional costs may be charged for items that cannot be restored or cleaned. The grill must always be used in an open area and placed safely away from any structures. Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight. Any additional visitors are the responsibility of the primary guest. Parties or events are not allowed unless approved in advance by the host. Unapproved gatherings may result in early termination of the reservation. Guests are asked not to eat or drink in or on the beds to help maintain cleanliness. This is a privately owned property. The host is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or health-related issues that may occur while staying at the home. Please secure any valuables, as the host is not responsible for misplaced or lost items. Guests are expected to treat the home and its furnishings with care. Appliances must be used only for their intended purposes. Pets are not allowed. Unauthorized pets may result in additional cleaning and replacement fees for affected items. There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and towels are provided, additional cleaning charges may apply if the space is left excessively dirty after checkout. Candles with open flames are not permitted. Battery-operated candles may be used. Decorative items such as glitter or paint that are difficult to remove are not allowed. Please respect quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM to avoid disturbing neighbors. The minimum age to book is 18 years old. For your safety and the security of the home, exterior cameras are installed at the front and side doors. These must not be disconnected, covered, or tampered with. Altering or interfering with electronic devices may result in removal from the home. Use of fireworks on or near the property is not allowed and may result in immediate removal. If anything is found to be broken or in poor condition upon arrival, guests must report it within four hours of check-in using the booking platform`s messaging system and photo documentation. This helps us ensure everything is in good shape at check-in. Guests are expected to clean the kitchen and any used utensils before leaving. Trash should be removed from the indoor bins and placed in the designated outdoor bins. Guests should maintain tidy personal spaces. If extra towels are used, please launder and return them to their original location. Guests are not permitted to attempt repairs on the property. Please report any issues to the host or maintenance team for assistance. Upon request, the guest may be asked to provide ID verification for all individuals staying at the property.

Ocean front charm
My husband and i loved the ocean front views and sounds and walk on the beach in the morning
The location was great close to salem and marblehead a beautiful little town . The place was clean and we loved the eclectic antique style and furnishings that were super comfortable also love the big wood burning fireplace..our Host was top notch immediate response and care for whatever you needed made for a great experience. Also briefly met the owner such a really nice person . We will stay again

The view was spectacular! The layout is a bit odd as there is an upper and lower. The cooling pool (I assume that’s what the listing mentioned) is definitely in an awkward spot so if traveling with small children it’s something to be aware of. It was also full and not clean. We accidentally left a bag of garbage behind so my sincere apologies for that as the trash can outside was full. Otherwise, great location, beautiful home, and amazing views!

The good: Beautiful views and right on the beach. Floor plan is creepy. The “first floor tenant” has direct access to our living area on the second floor at all times. There is a camera in the hallway. The hot tub was filthy and a serious hazard for children. Fine if it’s out of service but then drain and cover it. The Keurig coffee maker doesn’t work. Only two coffee mugs in the kitchen WiFi signal does not reach to the bedrooms. A lot of potential but for this price frankly I expect more.

False Advertisement
I was quite disappointed with my recent stay. The hot tub was not as advertised; it was empty, not able to be used and the cleanliness left much to be desired.
I also experienced issues with the Wi-Fi connection, making it difficult to stay connected for work. Additionally, the bed broke nearly caused an injury to my family. Overall, I expected a more comfortable and smooth experience given the price. Unfortunately, I left feeling unsatisfied.

Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to address a few points for clarity. The hot tub is not listed as an amenity, as it is only available seasonally and our listing highlights private beach access instead. Additionally, the Wi-Fi issues were caused by an accidental unplugging of the controller. We also received noise complaints due to children jumping on the bed, which ultimately led to its breakage. Cleanliness and guest satisfaction are top priorities for us, but given these factors, we feel this stay didn’t align with our standards.

Solid 4.5 stars. Very kind host and great location near a great restaurant (Njord Haven) and a solid bar (Dockside Bar) . Would give it 5 stars but have to be honest. The shower left a lot to be desired. The hot water is very finnicky. My wife accidentally sprayed scalding hot water on her head but if you turn the handle just 1/16th of a turn the water goes lukewarm to below lukewarm. We figured it out and it worked out okay but this kind of ruined the mood to start off our stay. This should be adjusted along with the shower hose and shower head being replaced. Very simple change that would make a big difference. Other than that, the home was comfortable and definitely has charm and the beach front location gave us a beautiful ocean sky to see at night and we had a great time overall. For the price, I would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks for letting us experience Massachusetts there!
