The color palette of black, off whites and warm browns and an eclectic mix of furnishings is eye catching in this 63m2 / 678 sq feet, one bedroom / one bathroom suite located on the 1st floor (not ground floor).
Original features have been restored to their old splendor and charm, such as the French windows and the sliding door that separates the baywindow from the living room. An exposed brick wall makes an understated and sophisticated feature by simply been painted in matte black.
The sleek, dark wood kitchen has everything a foodie could ask for: high-end appliances and a clever use of a compact space to make it comfortable.
Designed to fit the lifestyle of the cosmopolitan traveler, this apartment combines a street view on the front side of the apartment with the quiet intimacy of a bedroom located on the interior side of the apartment.

The apartment is centrally located just a stone's throw away from the bustling La Rambla and the MACBA and CCCB museum. Bordering laid-back Raval and Barrio Gotico to the west and the elegant Eixample district to the north means that there is a wealth of quality restaurants, bars and clubs near your doorstep.

Perfect Location

The apartment was clean, well equipped, nice modern decor, and comfortable bed. The location is central and two blocks away from Plaça Catalunya. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Perfect stay

You could not ask for a better location, and the apartment was perfect - exactly as seen in the photos. The small enclosed balcony was a great spot for people watching at the end of the day with snacks and a glass of wine. We absolutely loved it.

Gem in a perfect location.

Barcelona Dream

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time in Barcelona. This apartment was wonderful. It was in a great location, we very clean and modern, had a very nice bay window balcony which we sat in as much as we could while in the apartment. Everything was as described. One little issue but the management took care of that right away. We loved our time there. Would stay there again and again.

Culture shock

It was absolutely amazing! Just truly a cultural shock coming from a country that consist of intense hate ,racism and homophobia…it was so refreshing to be somewhere that feels so free. We felt safe in the building and the unit was beautiful and it felt free of judgement and the professionalism was amazing …I know these things (hate racism and homophobia) consist in all countries but to experience a group of less savage people was refreshing…I loved being able to walk the streets at midnight and feel safe and not judge!

Stunning apartment in convenient location

My spouse and I spent 5 days in this beautiful apartment. If anything, it was nicer than the pictures. We loved having a coffee on the enclosed terrace, and took advantage of the thoughtful amenities (like Nespresso pods!) DBCN provided. The kitchen was well equipped, so we were able to prepare a few meals easily, and the bedroom very comfortable. The location was super convenient to Placa Cataluna and La Rambla. The area is a little lively at times, but the windows had great soundproofing and the bedroom faces the back of the building so it didn’t bother us. Would 100% stay here again on a future trip.

Great Location to experience Barcelona

This property is right in the thick of things ! Plenty of restaurants, shops, and sightseeing to be had within walking distance. The property is clean and the coffee shop right below it is perfect for getting the morning started. Our biggest complaint or two would be the road noise during the middle of the night. It can be expected to some degree being in downtown Barcelona but it was more than we were expecting. Second part was due to some issues with AA airlines and some flight cancelations we arrived after hours and were charged an after hours fee to check in. Overall the property was great and we would stay there again if we were to visit Barcelona

Exceptional Property!

We stayed in this property for 1 week while visiting Barcelona. Our opinion can best be captured by my wife's comment upon entering the flat, "Your pictures do not do this place justice!" The folks at BCN were great to work with and they were gracious in leaving several complimentary supplies to get our visit started. Perhaps the only downside about this place is that the building, I believe, sits over the subway line and vibrates as it passes below. That being said, we would definitely stay there again and have referred a couple friend to use it.

More than Enough

This was our last leg of our visit to Spain and were so pleased with the location of the apartment. There are stairs as well as an elevator. The apartment met our expectations and more. The kitchen well stocked, bed comfy and soft, QR codes for all sorts of recommendations, the balcony was my favorite for enjoying a coffee in the morning and wine in the evening, while people watching and soaking in the beautiful city of Barcelona. It's close to the Plaza Catalanya where you can grab a Hop On Hop Off bus, and the train. There's a pastry/breakfast eatery below the apartment for your morning needs or to grab a sandwich before you head out on your daily adventures.

Beautiful property, excellent location

.We enjoyed a comfortable, convenient stay at this well-appointed 1 bedroom apartment. The check-in process was smooth and easy and we were greeted by a friendly representative at the apartment at the planned arrival time. The apartment was as depicted on the website, clean, modern and in excellent condition, providing all the modern conveniences needed for an enjoyable extended nights stay. The location is central to many vibrant neighborhoods within walking distance and also easy access to the Metro rail system. We would highly recommend staying here at is was clean, comfortable and convenient to local attractions and activities.

Perfect base for exploring Barcelona

The Rival apartment was perfect for us as we visited Our daughter that is studying in Barcelona. Located near the metro and walkable to many key landmarks and great bars and restaurants. The apt was super clean and very well appointed. The roof top terrace was an unexpected pleasure. Highly recommend this rental and expect to be back!
