This serene farmhouse offers a quiet escape yet is conveniently located less than a mile from downtown Skaneateles. Perfect for those who enjoy a home with the soul of a bygone era, Hidden Pond Farmhouse is your ideal getaway for relaxation and comfort. Experience the charm of the countryside with an easy walk into the village.

A short distance from our doorstep lies our charming lakeside village, where you can stroll historic streets filled with shops and restaurants. Whether you're seeking a delightful meal at a local eatery, a dinner boat cruise, or searching for a unique souvenir, our village offers a variety of memorable experiences.

Our lakes region is teeming with spectacular vistas, world class wineries, and opportunities for boating, fishing, hot air ballooning and more. Lakeside day dreaming is always a splendid option.

Please make yourself at home. Our cozy space is yours to relax and unwind in. Feel free to peek through the various cupboards scattered throughout the house during your stay. A highlight of our property is the serene walking path to the (truly) hidden pond located just behind the barn. The pond has long since disappeared, but memories of ice-skating parties in the winter still remain. Amazing Place to Relax and Recharge!

I can’t say enough GREAT things about the farmhouse, the hosts, and the incredibly relaxing experience we had while visiting!! What an absolute pleasure it was dealing with the hosts. They thought of everything, and provided the perfect atmosphere for our stay. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Skaneateles Winter Wonderland

A beautifully restored 1800’s farmhouse was the perfect gathering place to celebrate Christmas with family. Its history was surely one of love and happiness as that’s the vibe we experienced in every nook and cranny! Truly a wonderful place to put your worries aside, leave your black balloons at the door and just breathe!

Beautiful old farmhouse

This is an old farmhouse with lots of character. The bedrooms are large, the beds comfy. The kitchen is well-stocked. It is a 15 minute walk to town (on the lakefront) but you get to walk by beautiful homes and gardens. Lacy is a very responsive landlord. Would not hesitate to return.

A charming farmhouse in a perfect location!

My daughters and I stayed here 2 nights to celebrate my daughter’s upcoming wedding. We were charmed the minute we pulled up! The history and decor of this beautiful home was incredible! Each room told a story. Beautiful grounds too! A short walk to downtown and situated in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks everywhere. We’ll be back!

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

Well kept and furnished historic home with charm and character around ever corner. We loved our stay at this charming farmhouse. We enjoyed our many walks to town, the beautiful backyard and little walking trail. We were even surprised with a labor day parade which made our 10yr old very happy! We will definitely be staying here again. Our kids asked for it to be a labor day tradition. Plus! Our sons gf attends Syracuse and with it being about a 30 min drive, it is a perfect location for parents visiting their students.

Like Going Back In Time!

What a great stay! The property is an old farm house, decorated with antiques throughout the house. Large yard out back with a small deck that has a fire pit and gas grill. Inside has all the necessities (washer/dryer/gas stove/internet etc.) but still maintains the charm of an old farm house. Everything you could possibly want was provided, from soap, to extra toothbrushes, laundry detergent, everything... I mean everything! I found myself smiling as I was grinding coffee beans in the hand crank coffee grinder (there is an electric grinder too). We went during the Fall, so we didn't need air conditioning and had a few windows open the entire time to let fresh air in, it was great sleeping at night! Hosts were very responsive, though we really didn't need anything at all the entire 10 days. Property is about a mile from the village center. Great place to stay! Outstanding property.

A beautiful and cozy historic colonial home; like stepping back into time, so unique. The home had ample space for (6) of us. The location was perfect for us to walk into the Village of Skaneateles.A great get away ....

There are simply not enough words to explain how amazing this property is. My friends and I booked it for my bachelorette trip and it was even better then we imagined. The yard was well kept and there was so much space for any yard game. The fire pit area was a great space to sit outside for hours, plenty of chairs and even an umbrella for shade. The walk to downtown was great and there were sidewalks the whole way. The house itself was so charming inside and out. The front porch was a great place to sit. The cabinets and decor inside the house were perfect, we enjoyed walking around just looking at the different pieces throughout. The cabinets had some older books (and newer) that were fun to flip through. The couches and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was the perfect room to sit and talk in the morning, many hours were spent there. Even the little things that we completely forgot to pack like some first aid supplies and bug spray was there! Snacks on the table and water in fridge was a fun surprise and came in handy. What may be one of our favorite parts was the writing on the door to the laundry room, we spent time reading the writing and getting a picture of the history of the life of the home. The hosts are amazing as well, they shared some things to do in the town and were very responsive. Check in and check out were seamless and a breeze. We absolutely recommend this property. 100/10!

This truly is a charming home. Walking distance to town in a lovely neighborhood with great outdoor areas (we especially liked the porch). There are so many essential items throughout the house; it’s obvious that the owner has put a lot of thought into the comfort of the people using it. The downstairs is slightly dark and cramped, but I suppose that could also be considered cozy. I struggle to give 5 stars because while A/C is listed as an amenity, during the warm summer weekend we stayed, the upstairs was very warm. Only one bedroom has a portable unit that was not able to provide comfortable cooling to the other bedrooms. Several fans are available which is helpful but the windows are very difficult to open. I probably would not return in the summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed and were very comfortable for our weekend stay at this lovely home. The house has a comfortable farmhouse decor but at the same time clean, functional and has everything you need. We also appreciated the extra things that you’d have at home but wouldn’t necessarily bring on vacation- from toiletries to cling wrap to a blender, tea kettle and coffee made this an easy stay. The main purpose of our stay was to meet up with family members (this was a halfway point). It rained all weekend but despite that we had a great time poking in stores and then just hanging out visiting at the house on the comfy green couch with cozy blankets. We would definitely stay again and would only hope for better weather to do more walking around both the property and into the town.

One of the best parts about growing up here was the proximity to Skaneateles Lake. I spent many summer days swimming, boating, and simply enjoying the breathtaking views. The lake has always been a place of peace and joy for me, and I love that my guests can experience that same serenity during their stay.
