A lovely little cottage 15 minutes from town and in a wonderful secluded location. Everything you need is included in the cabin and the surprise focaccia bread was the best Iā€™ve ever had. Be sure to visit the Patisserie in town to get more.

Exceptional stay at this cottage with a beautiful view of the valley & Otisco Lake. It was perfect for a couple or a small family.We got to experience peace & quiet, which is missing from our daily life, since we reside in a extremely populated city. It was a short drive to the town of Skaneateles where there are many great restaurants and cute shops to visit. The communication with the host was excellent and check-in process was easy. Will definitely stay here again when in the Finger Lakes area.

This rental was located in a beautiful setting! Our host made sure the apartment was welcoming when we arrived. She also promptly answered a question that I had. I would definitely recommend this rental to family & friends!

Very nice one-night stay

We wanted to visit Skaneateles and then stay overnight. Ellen was great about giving us information for our visit and information to access the cottage. The cottage was comfortable and peaceful and just a short ride from the town of Skaneateles. The bed was super comfy. Enjoyed our brief stay.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage during a brief trip back to the area where we met 10 years ago. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well stocked for our needs. Our stay was quiet and relaxing in this peaceful setting. The hostā€™s extra touches, like fresh flowers and bread from a local bakery made our stay even more special. We loved our time there, and would definitely go back again!

This property met all our needs ā€¦ close to town and less than an hour ride to Syracuse University. We enjoyed hiking at Treman State Park. Also, boat ride and eateries in Skaneateles lake area. We were welcomed in cottage with a personal note , flowers and fresh bread.

This is property is the perfect quiet little getaway. Country area with beautiful views of the lake, the woods, the farms. Out in the middle of nowhere, (which is exactly what we were looking for) but 30 minutes or less from just about anything you can imagine, Lakes, wineries, breweries, Syracuse,etc. Will definitely be visiting again!

We had an amazing time. It was my friendā€™s first time doing this and this place did not disappoint. The pictures do not do it any justice. I highly recommend. The hosts are wonderful and very accommodating.

My mother and I stayed here during Family Weekend at Syracuse and we couldn't have been happier with the choice. Ellen is so thoughtful and so communicative, the property is clean and neat and well-supplied, and the view is gorgeous. Wake up to the sight of two beautiful horses grazing in a field! I slept on the fold-out couch, which was very comfortable. Really, we couldn't have been happier. Ellen even left us a loaf of cheddar focaccia from a local bakery! Stay here. You won't be disappointed.

Peaceful Retreat

This property is so cute and peaceful! It was well stocked, had some personal touches to make us feel welcome, and was incredibly clean. The views of the lake were beautiful. The bonus for us was being able to watch the two gorgeous horses in the field on the hill.Ellen was a great host and provided prompt communication. We would definitely recommend this property!

Clean, beautiful hospitality

The place was SPOTLESS! It's very cute and was perfect for a little mommy-daughter night. Nice view and a quiet area for a walk. I mentioned to our hosts that my daughter loves croissants and they went out of their way to get her some from their favorite bakery. They also shared a list of nearby hikes and restaurants so I didnt have to spend a bunch of time googling around. The hosts made our little evening away so easy and lovely! Thank you!

We couldnā€™t have asked for a better place to stay! The location was absolutely perfectā€”just a short drive from the music venue where our favorite band was playing, which made the whole experience even more special. The place itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home.The landlord was fantasticā€”so welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful. You can really tell they care about making sure guests have a great stay. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and stress-free.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and friendly place to stay!

Cozy space overlooking Otisco Lake

Ellen and Adam were wonderful hosts. It was my husband's birthday weekend, and they surprised us with a nice focaccia bread, cupcakes from a local bakery, and birthday candles to boot!! The view from the 2nd floor space is reminiscent of a Finger Lakes winery overlooking Otisco Lake and surrounding rolling hills so typical of this area--So nice!!

Okay for a one night stay.

The interior was fine, with an adequately stocked kitchen. As you enter the property, you have to go up a flight of stairs to reach the apartment. The setting is rural, but we were disappointed to find there was no outdoor seating area and no clear view of the lake. The property was clean and the owner clearly communicated directions and check in procedures. Incidentally, there was an unpleasant smell as we walked into the property, but the upstairs living area was not affected. We informed the owner about the smell.
