We had a great time staying at this house. We used the hot tub, sat by the propane fire pit, and played pool all weekend. The only issue was the water pressure.

We had an amazing stay. Our big group consisting of 10 adults and 10 kids were able to stay comfortably and had lots of fun with the games and pool table. Helen and her husband were very accomodating, fast to answer questions and help out. Highly recommended.

The place is beautiful. The only one that has a little problem is the water supply when taking a shower. Completely no water coming out on the 3rd floor. We have to use the first floor bathroom.

Everything was great it sucked that I wasn’t able to check in early but overall the stay was pleasant. I would have given it a 5 star but the water pressure for the showers was so low. Everything was great though overall.

The house is very clean and very spacious. My group really enjoyed their stay. My only issue was with the water pressure. It was tough to take a shower without the water turning into a trickle.

We stayed at this property with seven adults for a golf trip and it exceeded our expectations. The home offered ample space for everyone, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate our group. The layout was ideal for both relaxing and gathering together after our rounds, and the property was well-maintained and equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommended for larger groups looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.

Wonderful Getaway

This home was large enough for 4 families to comfortably stay. Everything was clean and the location was close to water parks and hiking. The host was always quick to respond to questions. Thank you for the great stay!

We stayed here Friday to Sunday. Our party was consisted of 10 adults and 4 kids. Upon reservation, the communication with the property owner was easy and fast. The property was tucked in the back, surrounded by trees, but easy to find. It is close to many shopping and grocery options. The property is well maintained. All instructions, expectations were clear and provided. All of the rooms were clean and very spacious. The bathrooms were also clean and had toiletries available. The kitchen had a lot of essentials as well, such as coffee pot, keurig, kettle, coffee, creamer. Since it was winter, we all stayed in and enjoyed the many activities they had such as billiards, foosball and boardgames. I imagine how amazing this property would be when it’s warmer. It has a hot tub, and a fire pit in the back that, unfortunately, we didn’t get to use. Great big family stay.

30th birthday

It was a great space to have a gathering for my fiancés 30th birthday. It was spacious and there were a lot of places to sleep! We really enjoyed our time and will book again!

Prospective renters beware of false advertising:Kitchen not stocked for large groups - lacking silverware, pots, pans, serving dishes. Dull knives, broken kuerig & toaster. One dish towel.Linens: Not one hand towel in any of the bathrooms. One towel per person for showering; 8 wash cloths for our 17 guests; no extra blankets.Sofa in game room completely sunken in and unusable. Creaky bunk beds kept us awake. Some mattresses are lumpy, others dip in the middle. We chose this place for the hot tub after skiing. When we arrived Friday night I informed the owner that the temp was 76 degrees. She said we had to wait for it to heat up. Saturday morning it was 85 degrees so she sent a service guy out. He informed us that this was an ongoing problem and that he had already told her she needed a new heat pump. She denied this and sent another service guy, who said the same as the first. Instead of having him install a new heat pump, she had him rig the hot tub with a “bypass”, which didn’t work. By Saturday night the temp was 88. Not until Sunday morning (checkout at 11am) was the temp at 96 degrees, which the owner said made it “operational”, as if we should be satisfied with that (100 degrees is standard), and offered a later checkout time so we could “enjoy more time in the tub”, which we did not want. I asked for 20% off our stay instead. She lamented that she had spent 200 on the service calls for the hot tub. In the end she forked over 100 and took no accountability.

Girls Trip!

We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday, Girls Trip style. This house is beautiful and was exactly what we needed. The grounds were very icy due to the harsh weather conditions but the host made sure to send someone out to plow and salt right away. We had so much fun. I will definitely book with this host the next time I visit the Poconos.

Great stay to go skiing and visit Kalahari

The house was a great set up for 3 families to go skiing and visit Kalahari. The host was extremely responsive. It snowed one night, and the snow removal company was there plowing and shoveling early in the morning, so we had no problem exiting the house. Thank you!

The house was cold, although all the thermostats were set at the highest temperature possible- everyone had to stay bundled the whole night to stay comfortable. I think the host was aware, as there were space heaters in every room. Even with all of these running, many in our party were very cold overnight with the thin blankets and no additional blankets to compensate. The kitchen was sparse and the oven was unacceptable. There were no cutting boards in the house, the knives were incredibly dull, and the filtered water from the kitchen was so slow that it took 10 minutes to get a sip of water. If we had known, we would not have planned to cook a dinner together as it ended up being extremely difficult. The water pressure in the showers, particularly the 2nd and 3rd floors, was very low and a majority of our party did not experience hot water. It seems that the house utilities are not truly equipped for the capacity advertised. When we went out to use the hot tub, it went down to 90 degrees in the sub zero weather leading to our discovery of the thin microfiber towels that didn’t work, we were left wet and cold. The pool table was not level and one of the cues was taped together, extinguishing our hopes for a game night together. The spacious basement, which was well advertised in the listing, was behind a locked door. One couch was comfortable and the other was fabric over a metal frame. Overall, not worth the price at all and we will not be booking again.

We had a great time at this mountain house. My crew consisted of 12 15 year old boys and 6 adults. The house was comfortably able to have all of us. Things we loved were:The room sizes The beds were super comfortable The cleanliness The location The living and family room spaces The ability to adjust the temperature in every room Things needs improvement were:Description of bedrooms does not match the house. There are not 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds each. There are 4 bedrooms with both bunk beds and 1 queen bed. We were still able to accommodate but at first it seemed like it may be a problem. There are not enough forks to accommodate 20 people. There were only 14 and we were 18 so we had to wait until some people were done to get others to eat. Not major but kind of a nuisance. The kcup machine didn’t work. There was a regular coffee pot but I only brought kcups because the host said that’s what she had. Again not a tragedy but kind of a nuisance. Luckily we found a bag of Ethiopian coffee in the house and we finished it. It was delicious! There is definitely a water pressure issue when running the kitchen sink and someone trying to take a shower. As other reviewers have stated you only get a trickle in the shower. The remote for the thermostat in the game room was missing as was the remote control to the tv in the master bedroom. Just an FYI. All in All it was great and I would come back again. Sad Surprise in the Propo

The shortage of running water inside the house has ruined out stay. There was no running water in 2nd & attic . The first floor has very little running water. Imagine our family consist of 17 individuals with kids and they were scrambling to the bathrooms and shower with no luck. I would have called 911 for this negligence and I am sure the property owner knew about it. Take off the listing please. I am requesting a refund.
