Magnificent Old School (650m2) In Historic Village Close To Amsterdam

This is a unique, landmark building. It is an old (100 years) school that has been turned into a huge but cosy house. It features a mix of old and contemporary elemnts in the design and interior. Although the size and experience of space are sensational and give it a castle-type of feeling (the hall is 15 meters high), it is cosy at the same time. The living space is 650m2, 2400 m3.

It is located right in the centre across from the largest church on which you have a great view. Our house is on the main street of the small city of Enkhuizen, in walking distance of all shops.

With gardens in the front and back (facing South) you can be outside around the house whenever you like. All rooms are incredibly spaceous with ceilings of 5 meters high. The living room has a huge fireplace and is linked to the dining room/kitchen, there is a covered outside hall, a garage, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, 4 bedrooms, a playing room for children with a piano and another large study.

And to top it off, there is a huge attic which houses a private cinema of professional quality with 25 seats. More beds can be put up throughout the house. There are bicycles for everybody to use, including a professional racing bicycle. We are open to make our car available.

Shops are around the house, everything is in walking distance. In 3 minutes you are looking over the first harbour, in 5 minutes you are walking around the historic centre that is a magnet for tourists. Enkhuizen is an international mecca for sailors.
