Welcome to your perfect beach retreat in Lavallette! This spacious and charming 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is just 8 houses from the beach and a short walk to bay access. The property is ideal for families or groups of friends, featuring 3 queen beds and 1 twin bed, comfortably sleeping 6 guests.

Enjoy a private, gated yard with ample parking for 6+ vehicles, and modern amenities including air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, and a washer/dryer. The home includes a full eat-in kitchen, a cozy living room, and an additional side room for extra relaxation. The upstairs master suite features a full en-suite bathroom for added privacy.

After a day of sun and sand, rinse off in the outdoor shower or explore the nearby gym, local eateries, and market just steps away. With its beautiful outdoor space and welcoming atmosphere, this beach house is the perfect home away from home for creating fantastic memories.

we didn't stay. the house was dirty, unmaintained, and not a place for children. tools, paint and many other items were left in the open in the '"stting room". the refrigerator had dozens of containers left from previous guests. the beds were not made, just old linens placed on the beds. We just left, not willing to stay. unable to get any kind of refund from host or vrbo.

Fabulous location but caveat emptor.

We loved this location, so close to the beach, great restaurants and markets all around. This is a quiet family friendly neighborhood. (You’ll have to drive to get to the boardwalk ). Also, after a small conversation, the owner allowed us to bring our dog. This is not a shiny investor-owned property. It is the home of someone unused to renting and it shows in numerous ways and a professional cleaning crew had to be called in. But once the house was clean and decluttered, we had a good stay. Had I been staying only a few days I would have refused the unit and left, but we were staying for a month. Therefore I put up with the initial angst and we had a great time because of the location. Not all the pictures of this house are accurate. The office bedroom does not have a twin bed, it has a folding rollaway bed, and the side yard does not have the table that is pictured in it. There is a nice gas grill available that is not pictured. Lots of beach towels for use. The listing says bed linens are provided, but I found many unacceptable and had to buy some new. Bring all your own bed linens. Also, you will need bathroom towels and washcloths.

Unfortunately, our experience at this property was not positive. Upon arrival, the individual who greeted us seemed to be confused as to why we were there. Shortly after, he injured himself and we had to call 911 for them. The EMTs deemed this individual to be under the influence, and that he planned to remain at the property for a few hours to sober up. This individual was unresponsive to any messages and was only reachable via phone call, if he answered at all. Only one key was provided, so he advised us to leave the side door unlocked, which made us feel very uncomfortable. A kind neighbor across the street had to ask us to move our cars, as he informed us that he rents out part of the yard space for parking, which was not conveyed to us by the property owner. When he finally left, the property did not seem prepared for guests. The beds had mismatched sheets that were stained, including a duvet blanket with no cover. The beds also had no flat sheet. There was no toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, or hand towels on the property and we had to purchase ourselves. There were a handful of beach towels. The room that has a twin bed is a twin cot, it is not a standard bed and mattress. Many of the bedrooms had a significant amount of small bugs. Due to the short notice, we had to continue our stay here as there were no other rentals available in the area my family lives. We only stayed at the property to shower and sleep. We would not recommend this property.

Beyond the beach, Normandy Beach offers a quaint and welcoming vibe with its tree-lined streets and well-kept homes. Local shops, casual dining spots, and friendly eateries provide a taste of the community’s laid-back lifestyle. The town’s low-key, residential feel makes it a great place to unwind, whether you’re strolling along the waterfront or exploring nearby parks.

For those seeking a bit more excitement, nearby Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant are just a short drive away, offering lively boardwalks, amusements, and a variety of entertainment options. Normandy Beach is the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, making it an ideal destination for a peaceful seaside retreat.

One of the best things about this spot is its unbeatable location. Just a short walk away from the sandy shores of Normandy Beach, it’s incredibly easy for me to enjoy a day of sunbathing, swimming, or simply taking a leisurely stroll along the coast. Not to mention the parking on our lot is ample. I also love that everything I need is within walking distance—there are local shops (i.e., The Dancing Crab, La Sola's Market), charming eateries (i.e., Pattie's Kitchen, Crabby Ricks, Goldfinger's Ice Cream, Kaboodles Ice Cream, Barrier Island Burgers, Blue Sushi, etc.,), and cozy cafes (i.e., The Underground Cafe, Sea Greens Cafe) just steps from the house. For a bit of extra excitement, Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant’s boardwalks are only a quick drive away, offering a fun change of pace.

Inside the house, I’ve made sure it’s as comfortable and stylish as possible. The inviting bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and spacious living area create the perfect environment for relaxation after a day of beach fun. One of my favorite spots is the fenced in yard, where I can enjoy a morning coffee or unwind with a cocktail while taking in the beautiful coastal views.

The beach house is also fantastic for families. The nearby beach and bay is perfect for kids, and the laid-back atmosphere of Normandy Beach makes it easy to relax and enjoy quality time together. With all the comforts of home, staying here feels incredibly welcoming and convenient, allowing me to fully embrace the charm of Normandy Beach.
