Charming year-round beach home in Indian Town, Old Saybrook

Guest booked 2 adults. 4 carloads showed up. Not sure how many guests actually stayed. Guests claims since it sleeps 8 she's aloud but only booked 2 so confused. damage to floor in master (burn) smoked in home. Sprayed perfume all around home on furniture to cover smell. Took days to air out. Makeup stains on linens and furniture.

The master bedroom is an entire top floor suite. Since we are steps from the ocean the sump pump in the basement does go off periodically during rainy weather to ensure no flooding. during this guests stay it did rain heavily almost the entire week. I did accommodate her requests by removing the 3 diffusers from the home I washed all linen and bedding in bleach and none scented detergent and cleaned the home with Clorox and vinegar only , per her request on for her last minute booking giving me 24 hours to redo the home to accommodate. unfortunately prior to her stay we had guests who used heavy perfumes in the home so the artificial smells lingered throughout the home , the scent she speaks of is NOT a normal or natural smell of our home . I take pride in having a very clean, disinfectant and sanitized home for my guests. I personally ensure everyone has an enjoyable stay.
