We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were excellent, nicely furnished and clean. Great for family visit!

Really nice home

Really nice house and a nice neighborhood. The beds are real comfortable. The house is real clean and real nice. Would stay here again.

Unfortunately, our stay at Abdul’s property was much more difficult than expected. The driveway is extremely steep and requires a truck or higher-clearance vehicle to get up comfortably, but a truck will not fit in the garage. Street parking is not allowed, so if you cannot use the driveway or garage, you have to park at businesses down the road and walk back.The parking situation also resulted in an extremely confrontational interaction with the neighbors, eventually leading to the police being called. The home is located within an HOA, along with several other properties owned by Abdul, and as guests, we felt this created tension with the neighborhood residents.There were also several cleanliness and maintenance issues. The oven and walls were dirty, and the beds had sand in them and appeared not to have been properly cleaned. We have photos documenting these issues. There were not enough towels for the number of guests, despite the guest count being provided ahead of time. The Keurig does not work properly on full-pot mode, there is no ice maker, and the keypad takes several attempts and time to unlock the door.There were no supplies provided for washing dishes, and we were not informed we would need to bring or purchase them. The toilet paper provided was also very cheap.Overall, the property has potential, but the parking situation, neighbor conflict, cleanliness concerns, and lack of basic amenities made our stay unnecessarily stressful. A wonderful place

My family and I stayed here and we were beyond pleased with the home along with the location and neighborhood. Everything was clean and organized and it had everything we needed.

Beautiful home, very clean and comfortable. Exactly like posting. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Could use more towels since there were four adult women staying but we managed.

Kitchen set up was fine. A couple of baking sheets would have helped.Pet policy did not apply.When we have need for accommodations in Cullman we will check on availability for this property first. It was very clean, spacious, convenient to everything and in a nice quiet neighborhood.I definitely would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful house! Great location! The house was clean! There were 3 towels in the house. We needed 6. We had to buy bath and kitchen towels. The trash hadn’t been picked up by the street so we didn’t have space for our trash. The key code didn’t work. We were to use the code and push a check mark. The key pad does not have a check mark. May have had these issues because it was Christmas holidays?

Nice place and location

The home was perfect for our stay and clean. The reason I only gave 4 stars was because there were several things "missing" that are normally provided, which I either ended up purchasing from Walmart or did without. No blankets on twin beds, only pillow shams on pillows, no pillow cases, no shower liners in either shower, no dishcloth, dishtowel or hand soap in kitchen, no dishwasher detergent, no laundry soap and unable to locate a garage door opener. Very short and steep driveway. I would still stay here again if in the area.

The shower curtain had never been washed and it had black mold on it and needs to be changed. The floors had not been moped if you took off your she’s then your feet were black from dirt . Toilet paper holder was missing. It was really clean.Our first stay at this place was clean. I don’t know if the home owner even knew about this because he thought someone had came and fixed the microwave . He seemed like a really nice guy.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this property. Although the house was adequate and although many of the other reviews rate it quite highly, I can tell you first hand that if something goes wrong, you will not have an easy time getting help and support from the host. Even before our trip started, the host was difficult to get ahold of, just for basic questions. When we arrived, 3 hours after check-in, the property had not yet been cleaned. The owner told us the cleaners would be right over, but it took them 45 minutes to arrive and another 90 minutes to clean. I had to threaten to leave and find other lodging before the owner took me seriously. He verbally offered to compensate us, and so we stayed. Our trip ended on Jan 1st and I have waited to post this review in the hopes that he would keep his promise of compensation, but he hasn't. If I have to boil it down, it's this: This host obviously doesn't care about customer service. There were a few problems with this rental, but in order to get anything resolved, I had to ask and ask and ask. If you still feel like this is the property for you, you need to know that the driveway is *incredibly* steep. You do have access to the garage, but if you have a large vehicle, like a Suburban or Expedition, you won't be able to make it up over the edge of the driveway into the garage without hitting the garage door. I can't imagine how someone with mobility issues would be able to manage.

This property is DIRTY. I spent over an hour cleaning because I could not find another available space for us to stay. There was food and other debris under all of the living room furniture and the dining table. The house smelled. There were very few pillow cases and towels. The bathroom walls were splattered with toothpaste, the walls and door facings were dirty. The toilet seats were awful and need to be replaced. The yard is bunch of overgrown weeds; the lawn chairs are filthy. There is no vacuum in the house. I bought cleaning supplies to make it acceptable enough to stay there as we had no other viable option. I wrote the owner immediately but he didn’t bother to respond until a week later. To protect myself, I took before and after pictures of the house. We are positive this house was not cleaned at all after people stayed here. We washed all of the bedding just to make sure we slept on clean sheets. The house was in a perfect location for us but I would NEVER rent from this person again.
