Located in Bracey VA at Lake Gaston, Live Edge Lodge is a Dream with 3 Levels of Totally Renovated Space to Relax and Unwind filled with Live Edge Furniture! Quilts, Blankets, Sheets, & Pillows are included. All beds are made prior to check-in so you can walk in, put your suit case down and RELAX! **Be sure to bring towels as we don't provide those**

*****Need more Room for Family & Friends? We have a 2nd house 4 docks to the Left of Live Edge Lodge! Floatin & Boatin 850949 Sleeps 18, 2 Kitchens, 2 Level Dock with Jump Gate and more! *****

Main Level: features a spacious Kitchen with all the Dishware you'll need to prepare Meals, Breakfast Bar, Quartz Counters, Tiled Back Splash, Stainless Appliances. The Dining Room features a 8' Live Edge Table with seating for 12, and a high chair. Relax in the Family Room with a Gas Fireplace with Stone Hearth, 65" Smart TV w/Sound Bar,and Sliding Doors to the Deck overlooking the Water. **** The Lakeside Main Level Suite with a King bed features Sliding Doors to Deck, a Spa like Tiled Walk-in Shower with Rain Head & Bench, a Soaking Tub,and Dual Vanity. ***** The Main level also has 2 more bedrooms with King Beds and a Full Bath with Tiled Tub/Shower and Dual Vanity. ***** Main Level Laundry, and a 1/2 Bath are conveniently located off the Family Room.

Exterior Main Level: Features a 50 foot long deck with a large Dining Table, Gas Grill, Ceiling Fans w/Lights, and Covered 15x20 area to relax under with comfy outdoor furniture. Enjoy the views with coffee or cocktails, no matter what the weather!

Upper Level: has a Second Family Room to relax in with Couch, 2 Large Bean Bag Chairs, and 50" Smart TV. In addition, there is another Suite with King Bed, Seating Area, and en-suite Bathroom with Tiled Tub/Shower and Dual Vanity. There are also 2 additional Bedrooms on this level with 2 Queen Beds in each room and a large Full Bath with Tiled Tub/Shower and Dual Vanity.

Lower Level: has a HUGE Rec Room with plenty of seating, 65" Smart TV with Sound Bar, Pool Table, Live Edge Bar with Live Edge Counters, Foosball Table, 2nd Kitchen with Live Edge Countertops, Stainless Appliances, Open Shelving, and 2nd Dining Table. In addition there is a 7th bedroom with 2 Queen Beds, a Full Bathroom with Tiled Shower/Tub and Dual Vanity, a 2nd Laundry Room, and 1/2 bath by the Rec Room.

Exterior Lower Level Patio: Enjoy a Beverage on the Live Edge Bar over looking the Water, play ping pong, and relax in the Outdoor Seating. Stairs lead down to the Water and Boat House with 6'-7’ foot water depth at end of the Dock. Float, Swim, Fish (dock fishing permit inlcuded!) and enjoy the Water! 4 Kayaks, 2 Paddle Boards, and Pedal boat are available to explore the Lake. Evenings enjoy the Fire Pit for roasting marshmallows and enjoying stories of the days adventures.

Beautiful place, wonderfully decorated, good communication from owner. But... we were disappointed to find out 6 days before our stay that towels were not provided! First time experience for us -- having no towels in a VRBO. With many from our crew flying in from out of state, this created a scramble for us to come up with enough towels for our large group. For the money we paid, we expected towels would be included. But overall the place is really nice, and we recommend it highly.

Omg this is the best vrbo home I've ever stayed in!! The house was so clean, well equipped, huge rooms and bathrooms, open concept for gatherings, beautiful decor especially for the holidays! Great communication with the owner. Beautiful home inside and out! We had a situation with a light and the door, contacted the owner and she was on it!!! I have no complaints! If you have not stayed in this house, you're missing out! A gem with beautiful veiws. I can go on and on about this home. Im glad i picked this house for me and my family to gather for Christmas . Thank you so much!! We will definitely book again

We had a great time at Live Edge Lodge with our group of four families! Everything was clean and well stocked, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Edie was also very responsive to anything we needed. Highly recommend!

Everything about the property was EXCELLENT!No stone was left unturned if it’s what you are seeking to relax and enjoy in a serene atmosphere by a lake. Staying in this house with my friends was amazing!!! Our experience was excellent. The house is very clean and has everything a large group could need, the beds are very comfortable, Sufficient bathrooms and very spacious. and the amenities are great enough to enjoy by the lake. The kitchen is fantastic because it has everything necessary. Thank you to Edie for being an excellent super host and good communication. I recommend this house for your next stay, and you will be satisfied.

We had a fantastic time at Live Edge! The home is absolutely beautiful with attention to detail. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The home’s decor, the fire pit, and the dock added to the relaxing week! We loved the time we spent in the water near the dock and the kids loved the paddle boat and floating dock. We kayaked, used the paddle boards, and fished off the dock. We caught catfish, sunnies, wide mouth bass, and a rare bluegill. The owners are very responsive, and pleasant to rent from. We highly recommend Live Edge for a beautiful week on the lake Susan Althouse We hope to return!!

Loved the house. Big rooms and beds. Plenty of bathrooms.Large game room. Second kitchen was great. Outdoors had a big firepit and dock with alot of toys. Fantasy Lake is hour away. Also went to Rosemont. Edie Grassi was excellent.

This place was perfect. Our large group always struggles to find a place that works to sleep everyone and is separate enough so that when the babies are in bed the adults don't have to be silent. This house fits the bill. People on the top level cannot hear anything in the basement and vice versa. In addition the house was extremely well stocked. They thought of everything. We can't wait to come back next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Live Edge Lodge. The house is beautiful and very clean when we arrived. It was great for our 4 generation family with lots to do and areas for individuals to get away when desired. We look forward to coming again. We appreciated that there is a generator as it had to kick in twice when we had evening thunderstorms.

This place had everything we needed for a week of fun. We only left for pizza, ice cream and wine tasting. We spent our days enjoying the house and the lake. We had a range of ages. There was lots of room so we could spread out to talk, play games, rest or read a book in quiet all at the same time. We would definitely go back. The owner was always quick and helpful with responses.

Wonderful Lake House

My group of 7 had a wonderful time during our stay. The booking and check-in were seamless. We enjoyed the fire pit, fished off the dock, used the kayaks and paddle boat, played pooled, shot darts and cooked in both kitchens. The property was clean, well manicured, spacious and offered so many amenities that we were not able to take advantage of in our short 3 days there. We did have the opportunity to meet a few of the neighbors during our stay and all were friendly, especially the ones directly next door. This was my second time staying on Lake Gaston and I’m looking forward to a third. Edie’s (our host) communication was excellent throughout the entire process and much appreciated. I do recommend this property to anyone who wants a great value and comfortable stay.

Amazing Lake House!

Such a beautiful home right on Lake Gaston! The house was so clean and well-organized. Having the kayaks and paddle boards to use freely was a huge perk. The gorgeous deck and fire pit were perfect for our group of friends to hang out around!

Perfect Location, Size, and Layout!

We already booked a return trip - doesn't that kind of say it all?!Had a yoga retreat with 13 of us at this house and is the best! The layout is excellent. The house is well appointed. It had everything we needed.Being only a little over an hour away from Raleigh you would think it wouldn't feel like another world away, but it was quiet and serene and everything we could have asked for in a place.Edie is a gracious and very communicative hostess and, though we didn't need anything from her, was at the ready to help if we had. Lots of games and activities to keep busy too. We took the kayaks and a paddleboard out when the weather was nice enough to do so. We wanted to enjoy the fire pit but was the night before we left and just didn't have it in us - we did spend some time relaxing in thr Adirondack chairs down there during the day though.It really is a lovely, well designed, well suited home for a large group with all the conveniences and comfort to boot (even the beds were amazingly comfortable!). As mentioned before, we already have plans to return!

Amazing

We had our annual couples retreat at Live Edge Lodge and it was amazing. Edie, the host, was very involved and ensured we had everything we needed. He responded to questions timely and the home was immaculate. Everyone enjoyed themselves and agreed the house aider in our great time.

Excellent experience

The house is amazing! Plenty of space, all needed amenities are present, the space was spotless, and everything is in great shape. Edie communicated all details quickly and clearly. I would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend!

This is a beautiful home and very accommodating for our family. It was way too cold for water sports, but we had everything we needed for a great time! Games, puzzles, foosball, pool, ping-pong, darts, fire pit. What a delightful weekend we had!! We hope to return next year.

We’ve vacationed for years at Lake Gaston and absolutely LOVE it there! We purchased our first Vacation Rental in 2016 “Floatin & Boatin” and were lucky enough to purchase “Live Edge Lodge” in 2024. These 2 homes are just 4 docks apart! So large family gatherings can vacation close to each other in 2 homes!
