It is situated in a super relaxing and beautiful residence called "San Giorgio" with a private pool and full of gardens.The apt is elegantly furnished and has 2 double beds ,2 bathrooms a laundry and a terrace with superb view. There is also car parking from which by an elevator you can directly access the apt. It is located 100 mt from city center.

Fantastic location

Wonderful place. Location could not be better and very comfortable for sleeping - dark rooms with great A/C. The view / enjoyment from the patio is remarkable.

Fabulous apartment, location and views

The apartment is great; has what you need, spacious, lovely views, aircon that works, a pool, and an easy to get to car parking space. You are in the middle of Taormina within a relatively easy 10 minute walk. Totally recommended.

Perfect retreat

The location was excellent as the apartment was a very short walk from the main town but far enough away to be super quiet and secluded. Superb views with an extra large balcony which is perfect for reading, relaxing, and dining. Communication was excellent—any time an issue arrived or I had a question, I received an immediate response. Would highly recommend if you are looking to spend some quality time living like a local I’m Taormina.

Great apartment, in a fantastic location…easy walk to the heart of town. We really enjoyed the pool…there were usually always a couple beds available. The apartment was well stocked with necessities. The balcony and the view are amazing. Parking on site was very handy, but note that there are a few buildings on the same site, so it means you have to take a couple different elevators (which can be slow or not working). Be prepared to climb some stairs.On a whole, really enjoyed our stay…the views, porch and pool were great.

Outstanding!

This is a beautiful property! The condo is well designed and decorated ... the terrace is gorgeous with a sweeping view and best of all is the proximity to the center of beautiful Taormina ... the funicular down to the beach. Also very nice private parking garage if you have a rental car, as we did. Beautiful plantings on all levels and the swimming pool must be terrific in summertime. Really a terrific place to stay!

A relaxing and quiet stay and yet just 5 minutes walk into Taormina

We really enjoyed staying here in Taormina. The apartment was clean and tidy and well equipped. Sadly due to the weather we were unable to enjoy eating outside on the balcony which was a shame. However we did manage to use the pool which has a beautiful view. Francesco kept in contact with us before and during the stay which was a great help. Taormina is a fantastic town to stay although very busy. It was delight to stay only 5 minutes from the centre and have no noise. We would recommend staying at this apartment.

Fabulous stay in Taormina

We stayed 4 nights and this apartment could not have been better! It is spacious with a large terrace and amazing view of the sea. The beds were comfortable and the 2 bathrooms a big plus. The parking garage under the building is a big advantage if you have a car. The location is perfect! Just a short walk to the Corso Umberto, cable car to the beach and the Teatro Greco-which is a must see. The apartment complex is gated so also a secure stay. The host Francesco always responded to communications quickly and we were greeted by the lovely Lisa who gave us all the information we needed. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Taormina!

Very convenient location just few mins walk to the Main Street Corso Umberto where all the restaurants, cafe, bars and shops are. Swimming pool was a very good size with the best view of the coast line (not heated) and enough sun beds for people and often not too crowded. The apartment was spacious and has the best balcony view of the coastline. Amenities in the apartment were sufficient for what you need. Some furniture may be a little tired but it is no big deal for us considering super convenient location to the town. Communication from Lisa who manages the property was good and prompt responses on any questions we have. She has shown us the apartment and also which lifts/floor to get to the pool, the town level and the garage but you will remember after a day or two. Address for the property for the garage entrance is best if you have suitcase so direct access to lifts to get to the apartment (which Lisa provided this address a day or two before we travelled there as this was different from what was on Vrbo which was another entrance where we usually walk to the town Main Street) Beautiful town with gorgeous architecture, amazing coastline views and such a lively place with delicious food and would love to come back again!

You will not be disappointed. The description and photos on the Homeaway website are pretty accurate of the property. The location is great! Apartment is clean. Pretty well stocked. Laundry in apartment. There were 4 of us and plenty of room especially with the outdoor space. Nice view of the ocean. Parking for a car in the secure underground garage. Very pretty and well kept grounds. Safe area to walk any time of day or night. Less than 5 minute walk to Porto Messina and all the shops and bars. Would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to walk everywhere.

Amazing apartment. Breathtaking view. We will go back.

The entrance is a jasmin alley. A few steps and you’ll touch orange and lemon trees. A short walk and you’ll be sorrounded by banana and tall, tall palm trees. Cacti all around you adorned with their vivid red and yellow flowers. The place was actually build on a temple of Jupiter, some ruins right inside the compound. I’m sorry for Ulysses. He was just unlucky or maybe the Gods kept him away from Taormina so that he could go back to Penelope. What else can I say: Unforgettable!

Property is ideally located to city and cable car. A very short 5 minute walk to both. Do not expect luxury. It could be beautiful but it is in need of maintenance and updating. It is basically laid out with a stained white sofa that is covered in an old red sheet. The hand held shower nozzle in the tub is broken and works poorly. The Nespresso Coffee machine is broken. Only one towel per person is provided so expect to carry it everywhere you swim. Beach towels would be a simple solution to provide. The pool is not heated and the water feature was not working the days we were there. The ironing board cover does not fit. Dish towels and cloths were not provided so we had to use a towel from the bathroom to dry the dishes. Garbage bags not provided for the bins that are located outside on the balcony. Planter on balcony rusted. Be prepared to get lost several times trying to locate your until within the building.

Dear Candace , thank you for your review. Just a few clarifications: the house is extremely clean and well-kept, the broken shower hose was replaced as well as the Nespresso coffee machine. Same thing for the tablecloths. The tablecloth for the pool is not included and the pool is not heated. The house is not luxury but it has a great price for the market of the city of taormina and for what it offers. Thank you .

In der Anzeige von FeWo-direkt stand, dass die Wohnung mit einer Spülmaschine ausgestattet ist. Beim Einzug mussten wir feststellen, dass das nicht der Fall ist. Als wir dann vom Gastgeber eine Kompensation verlangt haben, hat er uns an FeWo-direkt verwiesen. Damit war für ihn der Fall erledigt. Hier hätte ich mir eine andere Reaktion gewünscht, und dass er mehr Verantwortung für die falsche Anzeige übernimmt. Ansonsten war das Apartment zweckmäßig und einigermaßen sauber.

Great stay from start to finish. Host allowed us to check in earlier, spacious and very close to town. Great terrace and sea view. Two rooms and two bathrooms ideal for us travelling as two couples. We were even allowed to stay later on our departure day!

Great location and view, but spartanly appointed

The apartment is in an ideal location, the view is stunning, and the pool area looked very nice. Our host, Lisa, was very friendly. However, the apartment's amenities were sparse and it needed a deep cleaning. For example, we found no bath or laundry detergent, few kitchen towels, no waste baskets, no wall hangings, etc. We also had some difficultly finding the apartment when we arrived.

Excellent location!

We have had a wonderful week staying here! The location is great- so close to all of the attractions that Taormina has to offer. The Balcony is really spacious and has wonderful views out to sea. The shared pool is lovely. Only criticism would be that check-in was not easy- we weren’t sure where we needed to be and couldn’t get access to the property until 3.30, which was disappointing when we had been travelling since 2.30 am! That said, once in we were soon settled and this really is a fabulous location! Pizza mania a little way up the hill was also a really good option for dinner when you’ve had a busy day and can’t be bothered to go out- always made freshly and delicious! However, the local restaurants that we visited were all excellent! Would definitely come back!

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. The apartment was great, really clean and in a good location. The pool was amazing and the pool manager was very friendly and helpful. The only slight disappointment with Taormina itself was the nearest beach which was overcrowded and not particularly clean. However, this was made up for by the lovely pool so we spent our time there instead. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic stay in Taormina

We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment. Very clean, well kept, amazing location and INCREDIBLE view from the terrace. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future :)

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit toller Aussicht / Very nice with a great view

Sehr schöne, gut ausgestattete Wohnung in zentraler aber ruhiger Lage (wenn man das Grundstück verlässt, ist man mitten in der trubeligen Altstadt). Das schönste: der tolle Blick vom sehr großzügigen Balkon! Gepflegte und schön gestaltete Wohnanlage - nur der Pool war im Oktober dann doch schon etwas kühl. Sehr praktisch: der Tiefgaragenplatz, so musste man sich nicht mit dem Auto in die enge und volle Altstadt.
