Serene and Breath Taking View Of the Lake!
Come relax on the front deck, BBQ on the gas grill and eat outside on the picnic table.
Roast your marshmallows for your smores over the fire pit in the sideyard, enjoy a leisurely swim in the swimming area off the dock where you can also fish and kayak!
Ever heard of the Charcoal Corral and Silver Lake Drive In (with two movie screens). After enjoying the lake all day how about taking the kids for dinner and a movie, just 3 minutes away. While waiting for the movie you can play a round of golf on their Putt Putt Golf Course.

This beautiful lakeside home sleeps 8 to 10, a master bedroom with master bath includes a spacious king size bed. The second bedroom has a set of bunk beds, bottom bunk is a double, with an additional second double bed in the room as well as a single bed, also has it's own bath. Don't forget the sleeper sofa and futon in the family room!

Fully stocked kitchen of dishes and dish washer ready for use!
Grab your popcorn, hot cocoa and your favorite movies to enjoy a family movie night next to the cozy fireplace in the living room.

The house was larger than it appeared in the photos. It was a great relaxing weekend with our family. Well stocked kitchen. Nice fire pit. We hiked at Letchworth which was beautiful. So glad that dogs are welcome :)

The rental was very spacious, plenty of sleeping room nice beds, kitchen very well stocked, is pet friendly with a lake view, most of all you have the feeling of privacy outside on the deck.

The place was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the front deck for our family picnic. There is a good assortment of dishes and bowls. The dead end street is very quiet. We appreciate the garage to store our bikes and water skis. The single air conditioner and fans kept the place cool on the 90 days. The bedroom ceiling fans helped us to sleep at night. Our collie appreciated the large yard to stretch his legs. The large dock was a good place to store our kayak. It's in walking distance to the Charcoal Corral.

Every little detail.

Our stay at David and Alice's cottage on Silver Lake, NY was almost effortless. Leading up to our stay, David communicated well. The cottage itself is comfortable and homey. The neighborhood is residential and safe; neighbors were friendly. I come to most vacation rentals expecting that I'll make a couple of trips to the store for "things". This didn’t happen here. I brought food of course, but things like sugar, tissues, spices, firewood, etc. were on site. The home is well cared for and having a deck and dock for water access is spectacular. I highly recommend this rental.

Perfect Location Near Letchworth State Park!

This house was a comfortable size for us. It was well furnished with a kitchen that had all that we needed. The view of the water from the kitchen table was so calming! During the day, the natural light from the windows and sky-light was amazing!David was in touch a few times before our stay to make sure that we had all the information that we needed. During the stay he was available and easy to contact.The location is beautiful and the house is well kept up. At the end of the street at the main road is a putt-putt/arcade/family diner that has drive in movies on Friday and Saturday. We stayed during the week and ate one dinner from there. Good food & very close!We would definitely stay here again!

A Cozy Enjoyable Stay

This lake cottage is comfortable, spacious and generously stocked with everything that we needed. The weather was cold and we were able to use the fireplace to stay cozy with an ample supply of firewood provided by the owner. We enjoyed our time at the cottage and made the short drive to Letchworth State Park to take in the beautiful scenery. The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with. We would recommend staying here with family and/or friends.

Rustic convenient location

There was much to like, including a good living room with comfortable seating, plenty of hot water, and proximity to Letchworth State Park. Two items should be addressed. The kitchen lighting was marked as "not working" which made food prep challenging, and the propane grill is very small and needs upkeeping.

Clean and quiet get away

The place is very clean and in a quiet location. The house, towels and bedding all smelled clean and fresh. The ceiling fans made it easy to sleep on warm nights. We had a family picnic and used the picnic table on the deck. It started to rain and there were plenty of chairs to come inside. The owner is pleasant and communication is easy. We used the garage to unpack and pack the car when it started raining.

Somewhat uncomfortable

Despite the amazing location and visual charm of this cabin, we were quite disappointed overall. The kitchen was absolutely filthy. We had to wash dishes and cookware before use. There were pieces of food stuck in them! At one point I was chopping vegetables and one fell on the floor- when I picked it up it was covered in hair and grime. The other great disappointment was the furniture. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable- and the couches- were even worse. Neither had any support and this made for long restless evenings. After a long day of hiking, it was very unpleasant to sit on uncomfortable, no support furniture! really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it fell short. Not worth the money!

Last minute get away

Needed a quiet relaxing weekend get away and that’s just what we got! Great location close to Letchworth park! Silver lake is a hidden treasure! Thank you for everything! Frankie (golden retriever) enjoyed all the squirrels and birds!

SuperBowl Weekend

It's become a family tradition to get together the weekend of the SB. I've never used VRBO or AirB&B before, so I wasn't familiar with the process. Dave was very helpful with everything and we ended up having a GREAT time! We loved having a wood fireplace and everything we needed was provided. There is a view of the lake from the living area and kitchen. I would definitely recommend this house and look forward to staying here again!

Pleasant stay

Was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation. Quiet, clean, and relaxing. House is a beautiful quaint home w lots of living space. My family enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Owners were very accommodating and sweet. Response was always prompt.
