La Casetta - lovingly designed vacation home in the countryside, panoramic location, pool

The La Casetta vacation home is situated in a beautiful, completely peaceful panoramic location below the small mountain village of Casole D'Elsa, about 15 km from San Gimignano, 25 km from Siena, and 50 km from Florence. It is part of a small group of houses that were lovingly renovated in 2003. The shared pool (9x18m), complete with lounge chairs and umbrellas, is located 150 m from the house.

The house is particularly well-suited for a family with 2–3 children or for two couples. It is comfortably furnished, including gas central heating, a Danish wood-burning stove, a washer and dishwasher, high-quality mattresses, and more. The 95 square meters of living space include an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, two bedrooms with double beds (each 1.60 m wide), a bathroom, and a separate toilet. The private, secluded garden is approximately 1,000 square meters in size, featuring two large panoramic terraces, one of which has a pergola, patio furniture, and lounge chairs.

We expressly note that the house has handmade terracotta flooring ("cotto fatto a mano") both inside and out, which, due to the nature of the material, CANNOT be cleaned to a clinically sterile standard. Furthermore, as this is a house in the countryside, insects are to be expected and are not controlled with chemicals. The bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets and screens on the windows.
