★ "Our first time visiting the OBX and Amanda and Adam hit it out of the park. We had nothing to think about but relaxing."

This tastefully decorated, 3 bedroom/2 bath, oceanside home is the perfect getaway for family, friends or couples! Located on a quiet cul de sac only a 5 minute walk to Bonnett Street Beach access (lifeguarded beach access), the location can't be beat! We manage and clean the home ourselves - you will not find a cleaner rental home! Kitchen recently updated with quartz countertops, marble backsplash + black stainless appliances. Our new outdoor shower is the perfect way to end your day on the beach. We are considered "oceanside" which does not require you to cross a major highway to access the beach.

Carolina Dreaming is only a block away from the new, 5 acre Dowdy Park! There is a great playground for kids, basketball, bocce ball and pickle ball courts. In the summer, Dowdy has been home to a weekly farmers/artisans market.

In addition to this great new park - we are within walking distance to Tortuga's Lie, Lucky 12 Tavern, Galaxy Mini Golf, Morningview Coffee Shop, The Spot Ice Cream, Nags Head YMCA, Waveriders Deli and of course, the BEACH!

About Us:
Adam and Amanda live in Chesapeake, VA with their 2 young sons. We have always dreamed of owning a beach home and in 2016 our dreams came true! Adam's love of real estate and Amanda's passion for antiquing and interior decorating, make them the perfect duo to manage a vacation rental home. We want our guest to be as comfortable as possible when staying in our home.

We had a wonderful stay in Nags Head! The home was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. The beds were especially comfortable, and we appreciated the excellent showers with plenty of hot water and great water pressure.The host was fantastic to work with, staying in touch before our trip, providing clear and detailed instructions, and making sure everything was ready for our arrival. The location was also a highlight—we loved having access to the bikes and being able to easily walk or ride to nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions without needing to drive everywhere. Beach access was convenient and easy to find as well.Overall, we had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and look forward to returning in the future!

Five star rating in every category! Amanda is easy to communicate with; the accommodations are very clean and welcoming; the location is perfectly situated within a few minutes walk to the beach and beautiful park. Also, all of Amanda’s recommendations for area eateries/attractions are spot on! We very much enjoyed our stay at this well stocked and appointed home. Our dog gives it 5 stars too.

Wonderful cottage that made relaxing easy!!

Beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, and had everything we needed both at the cabin and within easy walking distance. Very welcoming and responsive owner, made our stay great. Especially enjoyed the cute screened area and swing underneath to relax in the afternoons.

Great House & Location

We had a great vacation. The house is in a perfect location with close proximity to the beach but also in a quiet neighborhood. Amanda was great to work with. We would stay there again if traveling to Nags Head.

Great house

Good location in Nag's Head, which is central to all of OBX. Easy walk to the beach. Appreciated the sand cart and other beach toys available.

Excellent

House was very clean and had all the necessary things to make our beach stay comfortable including beach chairs and bikes. It is tucked away in a quiet location but still close to lots of OBX activities. Would highly recommend this place!

Great quick beach trip

Great protperty, exactly as advertised, lovely location close to beach but with a more secluded feel then typical beach house given wooded lot. Tons of restaurants and activities nearby. Very clean and cozy, felt like a well-cared for and updated home. Would definitely return

Great beach vacation spot!

This beach home is very clean, and very well-cared for, with lots of nice touches. Inside, there are lots of comfortable places to be; and outside, the home is in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the beach. The owners made us feel right at home, and were super well-organized in providing us information, giving us tips, and being available if we needed. We had a great time, we enjoyed our stay immensely, and we can't wait to come back again!

Lovely stay

We could tell this home was cared for and loved. Amanda and Adam were responsive and so helpful. The house was so clean and just the right amount of space for our family. We particularly loved the screened porch and walking to The Spot for ice cream and coffee. Highly recommend!

Great for families.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Amanda’s house. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable just like the pictures show. Short walk to the beach, park & restaurants. Really nice location. We had a great time and enjoyed our trip even in off season. Neighborhood is nice and maintained. Kids loved the bunk beds and the toys & books that were provided. Plenty of places to explore nearby.

We needed to book a last minute long weekend, and this home was perfect! It was easy to check in and out. The house had everything you would need to stay in and cook or go out to the beach. Great size and layout for a family. Absolutely recommend!

Charming Home

Spent a long weekend here with some old friends from high school and we had a wonderful time even despite some iffy weather. The place was extremely clean and cozy, with many thoughtful little touches throughout. The walk to the beach is not too far, and we enjoyed being able to walk/bike to some nearby restaurants. Amanda was a great and communicative host. Definitely would stay here again in the future!

Perfect house in a perfect location.

This was the perfect house for our family of five, outfitted for a week of beach time. It was HOT a few of the days while we were here, but the AC kept us cool. We cooked most of our meals in, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The street is a dead end, so it’s quiet, which is really nice. I was able to walk to Food Lion for little grocery purchases, and the beach wagon was a godsend for the short walks to the beach. There is also a farmers’ market on Thursday mornings about a block away. All in all, the owners are responsive, and it was a great vacation rental experience.

We didn’t want to leave

The home was exactly as pictured, clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. My family had a wonderful spring break. The location was convenient, 5 min walk to the beach, less than 10 minutes to the coffee shop, ice cream and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking family meals. Loved little details like white noise machines in every bedroom and children’s books to read to my kid every night. We also really enjoyed having access to the bikes to ride around the neighborhood, especially to the park nearby. We’d absolutely stay again!

Great cottage in Nags Head

The cottage is adorable and just roomy enough to fit our party of six. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear. Cottage was a short walk to beach which is one of the ones with bathrooms and showers, which was nice. Also it was in a great location for us to do other activities - Jockey's Ridge, mini-golf and go karts, and lots of ice cream/custard treat options! Plus Amanda was awesome to deal with - super helpful and very responsive.
