We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotless, and the view was absolutely amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the attention to detail throughout the home was excellent. Booking was easy, and any questions we had were answered quickly and professionally. Highly recommend this place

This property is just as described. Right on the lake with great views. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you might need to make your favorite meals. We visited at Christmas and the host setup a Christmas tree and several decorations to greet us upon arrival. Nice touch! The downstairs is still a work in progress but it has lots of potential for future improvements. Can’t wait to see what they end up doing with it.

Great place to stay

New kitchen was beautifully built and performed well. The dock provided easy access to the lake and was adequate for keeping our boat safe.

Family Vacation in the Mountains

We brought our 4 grandsons to the house for a family vacation the day after Christmas. The lake is beautiful as is the drive up to the house from Atlanta.

Perfect lake spot

Great access to the lake and dock. All the appliances and kitchen needs were very up to date, so we didn't need anything for our cooking/meals.

We didn't let Hurricane Helene stop us from having a great time

We had a wonderful family trip even with hurricane Helene. We got lucky and the weather wasn't that bad in Blairesville. We were able to take advantage of little breaks in the weather here and there. We fished and swam from the dock. If you stay here and feel like venturing out to town there are some nice restaurants and not too far from Vogel and some nice waterfalls with short hikes.

Great Lake getaway

We had a family reunion at Lake Nottely and this was the perfect location. Steps to the lake were easily navigated. Dock allowed for our jet ski and the pontoon boat we rented. Short drive or boat ride to the marina. Screened in porch was a definite bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable Lake Weekend

Pictures for this house are very accurate. It was perfect for our group of 7 people who stayed on the dock or out on the water most of the day. Dock ladder was a nice addition. The screened in porch was also nice in the morning and evening.

Lovely Long Weekend!

The house was great - exactly the style and feel that I love in a lakehouse. Comfy beds and very well equipped kitchen! Nice and new, very clean, everything we needed to cook in. The kids enjoyed the dock and gazebo for hanging out. The extra table in the living room worked great for rainy day puzzles. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location!

Miles Away was the perfect location for our family July 4th getaway with our grand baby & grand dogs! Greg was easy to work with & answered our questions ahead of our stay! The house is well appointed with a beautiful kitchen & plenty of space! The gazebo & dock are lovely but steps are steep. We enjoyed jumping off the dock & floating in the water. And the dock was perfect for my son’s jet ski! The house is close to stores to stock up the kitchen & some great bbq! (Jim’s Smokin’ Q specifically!!) Admittedly, the house could have used a really good cleaning (cobwebs on the patio & kitchen sink had a strange smell) but nothing we couldn’t handle with broom & dish soap! All in all, we enjoyed our stay & look forward to returning in the future!

Lil getaway

Check in and out was a smooth process. The road to get to the house is one lane and it’s tricky when you’re towing a trailer. There are lots of stairs to get to the dock, so be aware. The staircase to the backyard is steep and narrow. Yard was very overgrown. Basement where washer and dryer are located is in disrepair but has great potential. Great kitchen & screened in porch. We swept the screens and corners due to so many cobwebs and dead bugs. The house is located in a quiet alcove. We thoroughly enjoyed riding our PWC on this beautiful lake. Overall, a positive experience and this house has great potential. Would recommend for group of six or less.

Nice spot with potential

We thought the location on the lake was great. The kitchen is new and very nicely equipped, just beautiful. The dock was very good with the best steps into the water that I’ve ever seen. Having a screen porch is great. On the downside we arrived to find a trash bag of ashes in the sink, all hand and dish soap containers were empty. The lower deck had several pieces of mismatched fraying, old, dirt covered furniture strewn about. The lower level is off limits but the glass doors reveal construction and messiness that was unappealing to see on trips to and from the dock. There were also a lot of thorny weeds growing up through the steps to the dock. I felt like I needed my gardening clippers. The screen porch also needed to be hosed off as there were lots is spider webs and leaves and such stuck to all crevices. With just some elbow grease and yard work and attention to detail this could be so much better. We thought maybe the owner is working improvements one step at a a time. Hope so! It has great potential.

Wonderful lake experience - a few issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was a wonderful lake experience with a couple small issues. On the good side, the cove was beautiful, quiet, and safe - away from major boat traffic. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe, with deer roaming the area. The property was nice - restored and modernized. Downside - the property did not seem properly inspected and maintained. When we arrived we discovered a large wasp nest in the gazebo - close enough to foot traffic to be dangerous. We immediately reported it, but when no one showed to remove it by lunchtime the next day we took it down ourselves. If you go - take a can of wasp/hornet spray. The shower control in the main bath was broken - hot/cold could not be properly set. The ice maker in the nice fridge was haunted, I believe. Every time we opened the fridge it made a loud knocking noice for a minute or two afterwards - and never made ice. We reported the shower and ice maker when we left - we had adequate workarounds. All in all - a good couple days of getaway but be prepared for issues - especially the wasps.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall - our experience was good. The house was clean - however, we experienced many frustrating things while traveling there and during our stay. First: There is NOTHING on this VRBO sight that explains that your check in instructions will come from : (PLEASE NOTE)...I also would have never known to go look for this had I not started reading other reviews. This is POOR. It needs to be corrected or rename this property. Upon arrival - the AC was turned way up. This property has a "ring" system with the same type of controller for the AC/Heat. It is/was VERY complicated. The Fridge kept blinking with an error/problem code - drinks/items would not get cold until we unplugged. According to our research, it needed something replaced. The Master with Kingsize bed. The Slats and legs of the bed frame were laying in the floor. In the guest bedroom, the ceiling fan was literally hanging on by a 'wire.' We had to get electrical tape to hold it up in place and even then, the light would work - but not the fan. ZERO decorating has been done. We contacted the "number" on the email from Escapia - assuming this was the owner - and we were told that someone would be out to check the heat/AC - but have absolutely no clue if they came or not. We were finally able to youtube and google how to get the heat/AC to work properly. The grounds were very grown up and un-inviting. The Kitchen is beautiful and there is great potential for the home - It was clean. We would not choose to stay here again.

Why Do You Need A Buyer's Agent?
First of All Having a Buyer's Agent Does Not Add to your Cost.
The seller along with the seller's agent pays the buyer's agent fee. Many buyers mistakenly believe they would get a better deal if they do not use a buyer's agent. They assume that since the seller has to pay the agent a commission, they would be willing to pass those savings on to the buyer if they do not use an agent. This is NOT true. In fact, seller's agents charge the same price regardless of whether or not you use an agent.

Here are a few things a buyer's agent does:

Helps you through the negotiating process. This is probably the most important part of having an agent represent you. The agent working for the builder or seller has one job and that is to sell you a home – maximizing the profits for their seller. You have to understand everything you're signing including addendums to the contract, possible delays, what would happen if your current home doesn't sell, etc. The most important thing to remember is that a buyer's agent helps walk you through everything step by step and works FOR YOU, not the seller.
Makes sure you don't overpay for a home. If you buy your home directly from the seller's agent they are only looking out for the seller's interests. A buyer's agent will provide you with valuable comparable properties and five you their opinion of the value.
